Introduction to Daxin Company: Cai Chang (1877-1953), born in Waisha Village, Jinding, Xiangshan, is the founder of Daxin Company. In 1891, he followed his brother Cai Xing to Australia to make a living. In 1912, Dah Sing Company was founded in Hong Kong. In 1918, Guangzhou Daxin Company (today’s Guangzhou Nanfang Building) was founded. Published by Shanghai Daxin Company (today's Shanghai First Department Store) in 1936. The building is equipped with heating and cooling equipment and automatic escalators, the first of its kind in a store in the country.
