It is said that Laga Mountain was a barbaric land in ancient times. King Gesar and his wife came here to exorcise demons and suppress them, bringing blessings to the people. When they left, they left a maid behind to marry the king of the village. In order to prevent the invasion of demons, the two of them stayed there He stayed there day and night, digging a grotto under the cliff to light a fire to keep warm. After time, he and the grotto were forever fixed on the stone wall. And their daughter Zuorui assisted the new village king and escaped the oppression of the tyrannical village owner of the neighboring village. She taught the villagers to plant new crops, raise silkworms and weave cloth, boil soil into salt, smelt ore and forge iron, and together they protected the village. Laga Mountain leads a peaceful and happy life. To this day, people in this area still dance the dance they learned from Zuorui, and this dance is also affectionately called "Zorui".
