Introduction to the Changchunling Ancient Post Road: The Ma'ao Ancient Post Road was an important postal route for Zhoushan to communicate with the outside world at that time. The ancient post road from Dinghai to the Sanjiangkou of Ma'ao is 14 kilometers long. The road is paved with cobblestones. It was first built in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty. The ancient post road is the only way from Dinghai to Daishan, Shengsi and Shanghai. It is also the only post road for officials to transmit information and private trade.
