Introduction to the former site of Jinan Bank: Jinan Bank is the predecessor of the People's Bank of China. It was founded in June 1939. Due to the tense anti-Japanese situation at that time, Jinan Bank was ordered by Chiefs Liu and Deng to relocate from Li, Shanxi. They traveled hundreds of miles from the city to Tianhe Mountain in the north of Qingquan Village, Bai'an Township, Xingtai County. In order to support the anti-Japanese struggle, Chen Jiujiang, a villager in Qingquan Village, vacated his courtyard house in the ravine as the office of Jinan Bank. The "Jinan coins" circulating in Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong and Henan at that time were printed and issued from here. In 1943, Liu Bocheng and Deng Xiaoping, accompanied by Gao Jiecheng, the first president of Jinan Bank, came here to inspect and praised Jinan Bank for "good location selection, good employees, and good banknote printing."
