Introduction to Zizhou Park: Du Fu Thatched Cottage in Zizhou was the residence of Du Fu, the great poet of the Tang Dynasty, who lived in Zizhou - present-day Santai. From the autumn of the first year of Baoying (762 AD) to the spring of the second year of Guangde (764 AD) in the Tang Dynasty, Xu Zhizhi broke out in Chengdu because he avoided the Jiannan military envoy (the military officer of Jiannan Road). He lived in Zizhou (the seat of governance is in today's Santai County) for one year and eight months, and lived in East Street (in today's Santai Middle School). Later generations called it the Thatched Cottage of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce on Santai East Street, but the building of the thatched cottage is now gone. Nothing left. In order to commemorate the poet, Zhang Huinan, the magistrate of Tongchuan Prefecture in the Ming Dynasty, presided over the construction of the Ministry of Industry Thatched Cottage on the top of Niutou Mountain. It is a commemorative Ministry of Industry Thatched Cottage.
