Introduction to Lingxing Gate: Lingxing Gate is the main south gate of Meng Temple, and it is also the first wooden frame gate of Meng Temple. The gate was built when the Meng Temple was renovated during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty (1662-1722). The three large regular characters "Lingxing Gate" on the forehead of the gate were handwritten by Ding Baozhen, the governor of Shandong in the twelfth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1873).
