Travel Notes | Northern Xinjiang that I photographed in those years: Nalati Grassland, Sailimu Lake and Hemu Village

Xinjiang is the farthest place from the ocean in the world. It covers 1.66 million square kilometers of land, accounting for one-sixth of the motherland. Its vastness and remoteness are enough to deter anyone who does not know this place. But in this land, there have been so many joys and sorrows. From the Serbs to the Huns, from Zhang Qian to Lin Zexu, from being demoted to the Western Regions to becoming a prince for thousands of miles, people endured humiliation or were ambitious, conquered or were conquered, enslaved or were Slavery has defeated others and been defeated by myself. It has gone through many vicissitudes of life, but it has its own mysterious mystery that makes people yearn for it. In the previous article "Southern Xinjiang I Photographed in Those Years: Baisha Lake, Muztagh and Gaotai Folk Residences", I posted some photos of scenery and culture I took in Southern Xinjiang. Today, let's take a look at them together Take a look at some scenery in northern Xinjiang.

Friends who know a little bit about Xinjiang know that the natural scenery of the Tianshan Mountains and Altai Mountains in northern Xinjiang is very charming. The Tianshan grassland scenery is particularly prominent in the Yili region, and the Kanas scenic spot is the representative of the Altay region. Today, just talking about the grasslands in the Yili region, there are many grasslands of different sizes and styles. The most famous one is the Nalati Grassland in Xinyuan County.

The green of Nalati, from the stream to the grassland, from the grassland to the forest, to the snow-capped mountains, from dark green to light green, to dark green, to tender green, layer by layer, from east green to west, from south green to north.

See the cattle and sheep everywhere, walking leisurely on the grassland. It makes people envious. They were peaceful and quiet, turning a blind eye to everything around them and just chewing.

There are also layers of gorgeous and colorful flowers here, which are beyond beautiful. The flowers are blooming so brightly, and as the clouds move in the sky, the grassland is constantly changing colors, making it mysterious and unpredictable. Running here, you can leave everything behind. Just enjoy nature and tranquility. The green mountains not far away, the dazzling snow peaks above the head, and the tender green in front of you are all melted into Nalati's paintings.

Nalati under the Tianshan Mountains, with its vastness and magnificence, has given birth to countless scenery, cattle and sheep, and passionate Kazakh girls.

"The last tear of the Atlantic Ocean" - Sailimu Lake. The sapphire blue lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and grassland, forming a beautiful picture that is so shocking that it is deeply imprinted in the mind and cannot be forgotten. The warm and moist airflow from the Atlantic Ocean can only reach here as far east as possible, and is eventually blocked by the tall Tianshan Mountains to form rainfall and converge into a lake. Therefore, Sailimu Lake is also known as "the last tear of the Atlantic Ocean."

In the distance are snow-capped spruce trees, and nearby are grassland lakes. The lake water glows with a charming sapphire color.

God seems to have given all the most beautiful colors to Sailimu Lake.

Many people say it is just a lake, not particularly large in area, and nothing special. But Sailimu Lake is like a dazzling sapphire embedded in the grassland, as beautiful as an oil painting.

If the beauty of Qinghai Lake is intoxicating, then the beauty of Sailimu Lake is enough to take people's breath away. In summer, the lakeside is covered with lush forests and clear streams. On the vast grassland, there are tents dotted with tents, smoke curling from cooking stoves, and herds of cattle and sheep.

The beautiful and compact Hemu Village is located on the bank of Kanas Lake in Xinjiang. It is known as the "No. 1 Village in China". Wooden houses are scattered in the village, small bridges are flowing, and smoke is curling up... The scenery of the quaint mountain village outside the Great Wall is as picturesque as a poem. When you come to Hemu Village, you must go to the observation deck to watch the sunrise and morning fog. While standing on the viewing platform waiting for the dreamlike sunrise, the surroundings were so quiet that one could only hold one's breath and stare, for fear that a louder breath would wake him up from his dream.

In the open land surrounded by mountains, Hemu Village lies quietly, with Tuva spiers and livestock pens scattered randomly in every corner of the village. Walking in Hemu Village is like walking in a fairy tale.

The creek, wooden house, cooking smoke, birch forest, and the dozing dog beside the fence shine with golden light in the afterglow of the setting sun, like a quiet, beautiful and gorgeous oil painting, touching your eyes and heart .
