A whim has become my biggest motivation for traveling.

Probably because every casual trip hides my last love for life, and even a bit of rebellion against ordinary life.

The trip to Nanshan Park coincided with the climax of the rebelliousness in my bones. I had to do something, even if it was just to go out and climb a mountain.

Nanshan Park has become the first choice for a simple reason: it is familiar and has the lowest level of difficulty, which means safety!

● Dream snow mountain begins at your feet

I had agreed to give myself a trip to a snow mountain for my birthday - Siguniang Snow Mountain. I had been thinking about it for a long time, but I still haven't made the trip.

Finally, I simply flew to Lhasa, and the dream of snowy mountains was finally shattered.

And just above the plateau, under the sun, the mountains that turn white quietly are uniquely charming and alluring.

The mountain is right there. I decided to climb it, and this is how I wrote this travelogue.

● Have fun with friends

When traveling in Lhasa, the easiest thing to meet is like-minded partners.

Anyone I catch is a travel buddy. Two people with nothing to do are indeed more suitable for doing stupid things, such as climbing Nanshan Park.

For safety reasons, we walked together and climbed the mountain together to see the distance. To put it bluntly, I just want to see the Potala Palace from a different angle, and Nanshan Park has a good perspective!

● Overlooking Lhasa and overlooking the Bu Palace

As we all know, the Potala Palace is the business card of Lhasa. As the saying goes, you have not been to Lhasa without visiting the Potala Palace.

In fact, in addition to looking up at the Potala Palace Square, other perspectives are also particularly important.

The world should not have only one sound; the scenery cannot have only one impression. Life is about trying. Seeking common ground while reserving differences is the greatest progress!

If you want to climb the mountain and look far, you might as well follow our steps to climb the mountain, overlook the Potala Palace, and interpret the impression of Tibet from a different perspective.

● A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step

The original plan was to start from Nanshan Park and climb to a snowy mountain. Only when I climbed up did I realize that the snowy mountain is always in a foreign land, and the farther I climbed, the farther I went.

Plans can never keep up with changes. When you go out to play, most of the time you have to follow your heart. Taking things as they come is the best strategy for dealing with anything.

You even have to learn to enjoy hardship. The mentality of occupying the high ground is the first condition to conquer a mountain. After all, mountain climbing on the plateau is much more difficult than driving by yourself.

One step at a time, and the end is far away.

I'm a little proud today because I can take photos and make concave images.

● Five hours to climb and half an hour to descend.

In the mountaineering world, there is a kind of difficulty called climbing to the sky, which makes you gasp for breath every step of the way.

The mountains are small at a glance, but it’s a pity that the mountains are too bald

Fortunately, going downhill is always easier. With a steady pace and a huff, you're only half an hour away from the bottom of the mountain.

As the saying goes, it takes five hours to climb a mountain and half an hour to go down. If there is no right, there is no harm.

●New glacier, warm winter

The light show in Nanshan Park is better than nothing.

Anyway, tourists don’t see it, and Tibetans don’t like it. Maybe the publicity is not good enough, and the limelight is stolen by the bustling Barkhor Street.

There are only a few spectators in the warm sunshine in winter, but the frozen lake surface sparkles under the sun and the rushing river adds a touch of vitality to the cold winter.

And it was time for us to pack up our equipment and return. Behind us was a family of five, happily enjoying their winter outing.
