The Ningbo Museum display consists of three parts: theme display, special display and temporary exhibition. The exhibition contents include "Oriental "Shenzhou" - Exhibition of Ningbo Historical Relics", ""Ala" Old Ningbo - Ningbo Folk Customs Exhibition" and "Bamboo Carving Art - Exhibition of Mingqing Bamboo Carving Treasures Donated by Qin Bingnian".

I originally planned to visit the Hemudu ruins, but then I considered that the round trip would take two hours, the journey was a bit far, and there was rain in the forecast, so I wanted to see if there were similar collections to visit in the museum. Some dog and pig bones were displayed, indicating that dogs and pigs were domesticated by humans during that period and were the main sources of meat and housekeeping animals in modern times.

Qin Bingnian, born in Shanghai, native of Ningbo, is a Chinese collector, cultural relic scholar, and lifelong researcher of Tianyige Museum. The family ran a bank in Shanghai in the early years, and all of their ancestors were leaders in the bank industry. His father, Qin Kangxiang, was a master of Shanghai-style seal cutting. He became rich in collecting seals, bamboo carvings, and guqin from all over the world. He donated in batches to many national museums and received commendations from the Ministry of Culture.

Special introduction to this old shop, which specializes in Ningbo glutinous rice balls. The name comes from the nickname of the shop owner "Jiang Agou", which is also introduced in the folklore exhibition of the museum. The distinctive signs of this store are a vat, a duck and a dog. The image is vivid and impressive. It became famous for a while and gradually became a famous time-honored brand in Ningbo.

The original distinctive signboard has been replaced by three large characters, and only the sign at the door can still see these three representative mascots. This store is not big and there are not many people. It is suitable for enjoying breakfast leisurely on weekends.

I ordered a sweet-scented osmanthus glutinous rice dumpling, with yellow rice outer shell and sweet-scented osmanthus filling. It was sweet and soft. There are also shrimp wontons, plum chicken wings, vegetable steamed buns and a side of boiled lettuce. I also ordered a portion of old yogurt, which was sour, sweet and refreshing. It was very satisfying. I thought it tasted good, but because I had high expectations, it wasn't very surprising.

The Ningbo Art Museum was also designed by Mr. Wang Shu. I heard that it was converted from a warehouse. With the hands of an architect, it can turn decay into magic and create a unique artistic atmosphere. In addition, museums and art galleries must register with ID to enter. It is currently the centenary of the founding of the Party. When you enter the art museum, you will see a large red background wall and the large characters "Century Journey" will come into view. The first floor displays exquisite oil paintings and prints from many historical periods such as the founding of the Party, the founding of the country, the revolution, and the Long March.

"The Long March is not afraid of the difficulties of the expedition...The five mountains are meandering and the waves are rolling, the Wumeng is majestic and the mud balls are walking, ...The three armies are all happy after they pass." Many works such as "Jiang", "Green Shazhangli", "Southern Tour", "Golden Misty Rain Tower", etc., depict vivid characters of great men and revolutionaries and patriots in various historical periods.

According to reports, this batch of works was created by Ningbo Art Museum and the Central Academy of Fine Arts. At that time, a group of young painters were studying in the oil painting training class of the Academy of Fine Arts, and then started to create this batch of exquisite works of art, which will be left as a permanent souvenir.
