– Hubei Provincial Art Museum –
Address: No. 1 Sanguandian, Donghu Road, Wuchang
Open: Tuesday to Sunday 9:00-17:00 (last admission at 16:00)
It's right next to the Provincial Expo. After visiting the Provincial Expo, you can stop by and take a look. It's so nice. There are often various exhibitions and there are some interesting sculptures in the exhibition hall. There are also occasional salon activities. I have participated in a lacquerware tutorial before and learned a lot.
– Wuhan Art Museum –
Address: No. 2, Baohua Street, Zhongshan Avenue, Jiang'an District
Open: Tuesday to Sunday 9:00-17:00 (last admission at 16:00)
In fact, compared to the Provincial Art Museum, I think the Municipal Art Museum is more in line with my idea of an art museum.
The museum building was formerly the Jincheng Bank, one of the important private banks in China at that time. The building itself is full of aesthetics. It was designed by Zhuang Jun, the first generation of Chinese architects, and drawn by Jingming Yangxing.
The front facade adopts a Western deformation of the Ionian column front porch, which is a nationalized change based on the classical revivalist style. He used unconventional convex fillet lines and bands on the column bases, and changed the swirls on the Ionic capitals into Chinese-style decorations. The mountain flower on the top is also unique. There is a mountain flower above the eaves of the three bays in the middle. On both sides of the mountain flower are large baroque curved scrolls, but the scroll holes are made into Chinese decorative patterns. *
Before visiting the exhibition hall, you might as well take a walk outside the exhibition hall to appreciate the beauty of the architecture.
– He Art Museum –
Address: No. 16, Yezhihu West Road, Hongshan District
Open:Tuesday-Sunday9:00-17:00
He Art Museum is close to Lake University of Technology. Transportation was inconvenient before. Now after the opening of Line 7, you can go there by subway. Parking is also very convenient if you drive. Although there is a creative park next to it, maybe because of the poor location and poor business, the atmosphere is quite good, but it is a pity that no one goes there.
The interior of the art museum is quite good, very modern, and the exhibitions are quite interesting. There was also an exhibition by Leng Jun before.
In addition, I personally recommend the Saldinberg Art Italian Restaurant next to the art museum. It is a high-end restaurant owned by Xiuyu. I really love the food and the environment! And it’s not expensive!
There is also a Starbucks nearby that is said to be the most beautiful. I have been to it. The design is indeed different from other stores, but it is not that good. Hahaha, you can stop by if you go to the art museum.
– Donghushan Art Museum –
Address: East Lake·Moshan Lancui Scenic Area
Open: Tuesday-Sunday 9:00-17:00
I have written a special push introduction before, Portal: Visit the "Sugi Art Museum" in the urban forest . Whether you visit it as an art museum or as a small scene hidden in the shadows of East Lake and Moshan, it is worth visiting.
There are not many exhibits and exhibition halls. You can stop by the RV cafe at the door and check in the East Lake Scenic Area. For details, please refer to the previous tweet.
– Wanlin Art Museum –
Address: Inside Wuhan University
Open: Tuesday-Sunday 9:00-17:00
As a Wuhan University student, how can I not mention Wan Lin! Originally, when the school was to be built in Wanlin, we all felt that it looked like a big boulder, which was incompatible with the overall atmosphere of Luojia Mountain People's Park, but over time, we actually found itreally delicious! Is the pure white interior instantly transformed into a place for internet celebrities to check in? It really looks nice to take pictures.
And I think every exhibit is very high-end. My favorite is the graduation design exhibition, which amazes the students’ imagination. There is also a cafe on the top floor, and walking outside to the open-air terrace is simply awesome! At that time, I thought it would be great to have a wedding outdoors, hahahahaha.
– Wuhan Planning Museum –
Address: Inside the Citizen's Home, Jinqiao Avenue
Open: Monday-Saturday 9:00-17:00
The Wuhan Planning Museum should actually be discussed in the previous issue, but because it is too long, it will be discussed together with the art museums in this issue. Maybe many people, including people in Wuhan, don’t know that such a venue exists in the Citizen’s House.
The venue is quite interesting. Through sand tables, videos, exhibition boards, etc., it displays the development history of Wuhan in many aspects, including urban planning, transportation development, regional development, etc. Now there is a direct subway line 3, so it is quite convenient to go there.
– Wuhan Science and Technology Museum –
Address: No. 91, Yanjiang Avenue, Jiang'an District
Open: Wednesday-Sunday 9:00-16:30
As a "big friend", I love this kind of venue very much! You can spend most of the day wandering around. There is a lot of science knowledge, astronomy and geography, mathematics and nature. It is so fun to visit. Although most of them are parents bringing their children to play, or schools organize spring and autumn outings, I don’t think adults will feel childish and boring at all.
There are many small mechanisms inside that you can interact with (unfortunately, some of them were damaged by naughty children...) It can even be used as a date spot for couples.
The location is right on the river beach. After shopping, you can also take a walk on the river beach and eat snacks on Jianghan Road. It's so nice. Or you can take a ferry and enjoy the night view and river breeze directly to Wuchang, and then go to Simenkou for a round of food. It’s perfect.
END
The best part is, these venues are all free! ! !
Just remember to bring your ID card.
Some venues require ID cards to enter~
