Preface
"The world is so big, I want to see it."
Last August, my mother and I came to Beidaihe. Originally, I was supposed to come with my classmates, but my mother insisted on coming with me to see what changes would happen when I went with her.
As the high-speed train arrived at the station, we walked out of Beidaihe Station. I don't know whether it was because it was raining lightly on the day we went, or because Beidaihe was very close to the seaside, so there was a hint of coolness that day.
We stayed in Beidaihe for three days and two nights. Beidaihe was not as hot as in Beijing because it was relatively cool by the sea. Although we stayed in Beidaihe for a short time, it really made me feel the sea up close.
Beidaihe
In the morning of the first day, we got off the train, found the hotel, put our things in the hotel, packed up, and then we went to Beidaihe. Beidaihe is very close to our hotel and can be reached on foot. According to my mother, the sea water in Beidaihe is not as clear as before. The original Beidaihe was much clearer than when we went there, but there were still many people and it was still free. After I went into the sea, my mother had to teach me how to swim, although I didn't learn it in the end.
Qinhuangdao Immortality Place
Qinhuangdao Immortal Seeking Place, as the name suggests, is for seeking immortality. After entering, there are many sculptures around. The guide told us a lot about Qinhuangdao's place to seek immortality. Although I didn't understand any of it, this place is still worth a visit.
Qinhuangdao Cruise Terminal
At the third stop, we arrived at the Qinhuangdao Cruise Terminal.
Qinhuangdao Cruise Terminal, as the name suggests, is a cruise terminal. Here I also really did a cruise. Although the cruise ship does not walk on the sea for a long time, you can really observe the sea, and you can have a clear view of the jellyfish and other things on the sea.
Shanhaiguan
Shanhaiguan is known as "the first pass in the world", and it is of course a must when visiting Qinhuangdao. We walked around Shanhaiguan. There are still some shops selling things around Shanhaiguan, which are more commercial. However, as an attraction, it is essential. The shops selling things around are quite interesting, such as those selling pearl powder, pearls freshly grown from clams, ginger candies... and everything else.
Pigeon Nest Park
Our last stop was at Pigeon Nest Park. I think Pigeon Nest Park is very worth visiting. The little pigeons inside are very cute, and people around will buy some pigeon food to feed them. Pigeon Nest Park is more suitable for taking a walk or hanging out after dinner. You can also come to Pigeon Nest Park early in the morning to watch the sunrise.

Jingqiu Self-service Sauce Bone Seafood BBQ (Beachside Store), this store is very close to Laohushi Marine Park. This shop has a lot of dishes, including barbecue, shabu-shabu, lamb ribs, dumplings... In short, there are many varieties and they are very complete.

My mother and I took the high-speed train from Beijing Station and arrived at Beidaihe Station in two hours.

Our hotel was very close to a large market, so we bought some pearl bracelets and pearl necklaces, as well as some yellow croakers and small shrimps. Beidaihe is still very close to the seaside, so the food here is more authentic than in Beijing.
Conclusion
Beidaihe is a city with a very slow pace of life. Living here for a long time will make us feel very comfortable, especially since Beidaihe is very close to the seaside. Living here in summer will be particularly comfortable.
