At around 4 o'clock last night, we arrived at Zaozhuang, the southernmost tip of Shandong, at the junction of Lu and Su. Check into the hotel in Taierzhuang Ancient Town. Taierzhuang is a famous water town in the north of the Yangtze River. It was awarded "the best village in the world" by Emperor Qianlong;

It is the only remaining heritage village on the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal; it is called the "living ancient canal" by the World Tourism Organization.

In order to feel the charm of the canal, we first took a boat ride on a short section of the Zaozhuang section of the ancient Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.

I sat back and listened to the music while walking through the water streets of the ancient city, feeling the prosperity and busyness of the canal in the past.

In the morning, we walked the two ancient city streets running east and west.

Then I took an electric rickshaw and walked around the alleys of the ancient city, and entered some special exhibition halls in the ancient city.

It is said that "View the Great Wall from Badaling, see the canal to Taierzhuang", so I walked around Taierzhuang in various ways. Although I could only understand a little bit about the great canal project, I could appreciate the country's growing prosperity.

In the afternoon, we continued towards our destination.

In the evening, Qingdao, we arrived!
