On October 1st, the 70th anniversary of the founding of the motherland was celebrated. Wowo and I celebrated this historic moment by hiking. Huanghuacheng is a section of the wild Great Wall. Maybe because of the National Day, maybe because it is not very famous, so few people come.The tower standing in front of you and the quiet lake are nestled together. The contrast between strength and softness is an irresistible call.
After walking across the iron bridge over the dam and a short dirt road, we arrived at the foot of the Great Wall. Climbing up the steps and then climbing up an iron ladder, we stood on the Great Wall.
We only met three groups of people on this hike. One group seemed to be a family, with the grandfather and two boys climbing with great interest. The other group was two Americans following a girl who seemed to be a tour guide. We greeted each other. The two are foreign teachers and very talkative. One of them is actually wearing a skirt and sandals. From the looks of it, he probably won’t be able to walk very far. They excitedly posed for photos, while we continued to move forward, and sure enough, the three of them soon faded out of sight.
Some of the people you meet by chance in your life are like the scenery passing by outside the car window, passing by in a flash. Sometimes it shines or dims, and eventually sinks into the vast sea of hearts. As the years go by, it may gradually become blurred or disappear...Going further, we met the third wave of tourists on this trip: two men. They stopped at the pile of rocks and were coming down the road. Tell us, it’s very difficult to go ahead and we can’t get through.When I first started hiking, I was depressing when I heard this, but gradually I got used to it after hearing it more and more. Don't just listen to what others say. You must try it yourself before you can make your own judgment. Soon arrived at this dilapidated highland. Most tourists would stop here, but we were in the "second shift" and continued. We used our hands and feet to climb over the first difficult point of the trip and climbed up. Go up to another beacon tower Standing on a high place, you can see the grandfather with his grandson below from a distance, but he did not see the two children. Perhaps that is why he turned around and walked down the mountain, his slightly moving figure gradually getting further away. . The Great Wall and the surrounding undulating mountains are like a huge curtain. This moving little black spot seems to be a jumping note in this majestic and solemn place, lonely but beautiful.
Sometimes you go hiking with a group of people, and as you walk, the crowd gradually disperses, and finally you find that you are the only one left in the vast land. Most people follow the crowd and follow the crowd. When others move, others move away, and when others move away, others move away, just as others say. Whenever I see people standing still below, I want to say: The distance is not as difficult as you think.People only believe what they want to believe. Everyone has a life manual in his heart. It takes love and passion to continue climbing. The view becomes wider as you go higher, and the silhouettes of the mountains are a beautiful gift from nature. The mountain is right here, standing tall in the sky, saying silently: As long as you dare to come, I will show it to you without reservation. As we climbed over one tower after another, we almost reached the highest peak, which was on the same level as the mountains as far as the eye could see.
Geckos can be seen everywhere on the mountain. I think this place should be renamed Gecko Mountain. There are many geckos with blue tails, and it is the kind of blue that shines with silver. This is the first time I have seen colored tails. Wowo has never seen a gecko escape with its tail. So I added another task and tried to dock the tail. However, the geckos here are no better than those in the city. They are all very agile and incredibly fast. They ran away before the trekking pole even touched them. As I failed again and again, my confidence was like a flame that was about to be extinguished. It seemed that this was an impossible task. Incredibly, I clicked on their thin tails with my hiking pole again and again, and I succeeded! I couldn’t believe it when I saw a tail left alone and waving wildly. I immediately called out to the nest behind. Kung Fu really pays off, it seems impossible, but if you try again and again, you will really get lucky once. For Wowo, seeing is believing; For the gecko, its tail can still regenerate, just as it has practiced surviving a desperate situation and cutting off its tail to save itself. Nature is the best teacher, as long as you can understand its silent revelation to you.
Because the tour guide we met earlier said that this route is not long and the road ahead is difficult and dangerous, she meant that it was impossible to pass, so we stopped and walked without being too anxious. As a result, the legendary road that cannot be continued was We crawled and kicked over. Unexpectedly, after one journey after another, higher beacon towers appeared in front of us. It was almost 12:30 noon. Looking up, there were still higher towers. Originally we planned to take a lunch break here, but I felt that the scenery over there should be better and more suitable for rest, so I suggested to Wowo to climb to the highest point, but the expression on her face made me laugh. After about a meal, we came to a dilapidated beacon tower. What greeted us was a huge boulder. Wowo looked for a way around it from the edge, and I tried to practice rock climbing. Unfortunately, the hiking shoes were too thick and heavy. It is difficult to find a foothold on such an almost vertical rock surface. After only taking two steps, I got stuck there. I couldn't find the upward grip and my feet couldn't find a place to step on. I just hung on the cold and hard rock, like a gecko. At this time, there was a sound of nesting from the top of the head, saying that it could be passed from the side. Okay, I was ready to go down, but I couldn't see the path I took when I came up. At this time, my arms were already sore from hanging. I couldn't hold this position for too long and felt a little weak. Suddenly, it flashed in my mind that I had fallen off the rock. The horrifying scene made me feel a little panicked, and I suddenly felt that my whole body was weak. Don't panic, calm down, slowly move your feet down to find a landing point, and just like that, you can climb down little by little. When you look up, you can see that you haven't climbed very high. I feel a little scared when I think of the scene just now. Sometimes it's not that the situation is really that bad, it's the fear and panic that makes people confused.
"It is not the long road that tortures people, but the grain of sand in the shoe." Our worries, fears and anxieties are often the grain of sand on the soles of our feet, which makes us lose our will, so the sand and stones are often like mountains. Between us and the distance.
Finally arrived at the target beacon tower. The short entrance was like a dog hole. I crawled in using my hands and feet. Hey, it was still outdoors because the outer wall had already collapsed. Okay, that's it, who can guarantee whether the next one will be worse than this one.
For lunch, I actually brought a red grapefruit. I chose a relatively expensive one in the supermarket. It really lived up to my wish to carry it all the way to the top of the mountain. It tasted great. "You will be at the top of the mountain, and you will have a panoramic view of the mountains ''. The mountains in the distance are like dark green, the autumn wind is gentle, and you will taste the only grapefruits, and a few chestnuts picked up on the road and under the jujube trees. Two imperfect red dates were shown to Wowo as if they were treasures. The red dates were not eaten, and they were put into the pockets of their pants, as if they were carrying a sweet little secret, full of joy.
We carefully put the remaining half grapefruit back into our backpack as our reserve, because only one-fifth of the water in Wowo was left. I don’t know how she can drink water so well (actually I drink too little water), and I don’t know why she often suffers from water shortages. The question now is: Continue to go up or go down. We arrived at the next highest point at 2:30. There are higher ones above, but the ground looks crazier and the climb is more difficult.Looking to the north, Beijing is lined with tall buildings. Standing at this height, you are surrounded by mountains and shrouded in clouds and mist. The Great Wall winds all the way away, with faint houses and roads exposed at the foot of the mountain. The Great Wall and highways are like two silver lines connecting heaven and earth. Time and space are vast, and the breeze is just right.There were only two of us in the entire mountain, bathing in nature. Although the city is there, we are far away and everything is silent. Zhuangzi said: The great beauty of heaven and earth cannot be described.According to our time, we should go down the mountain just to be on the safe side. Wowo was very thoughtful and found a path down the mountain. I don’t know what the future holds, but as usual, I’m just going to take advantage of the situation and leave as soon as I see it! A small trail, we walked through the bushes. It is probably a shortcut down the mountain taken by local villagers. Although I am not going through all the obstacles, it may be that no one has walked through it for a long time. Walking in front I am like a moving human tank, crushing everyone Spider webs and tangled branches across the road. Wowo is afraid of spiders. Unfortunately, she has always had close contact with spiders in the mountains with me over the years, and now she is no longer surprised.
This kind of road no longer has all kinds of hideous rocks, and hiking on the sloping dirt road is still a challenge. Tell Wowo to tie his shoelaces tightly and walk sideways to help reduce the pressure on his toes. I had the experience of walking down the Great Wall in Wanye and my two big female toes were bruised. Such a slope can easily put excessive pressure on the toes, especially if they are tense, which will aggravate the pressure.From the occasional glimpse, we can see that the height is gradually decreasing. Going down the mountain is always faster than going up the mountain, especially on such a steep slope. When we came to a place where large rocks were piled up, we judged from experience that we had probably entered an orchard, which meant that we were not far from the foot of the mountain. Suddenly I was pleasantly surprised to find another big and plump chestnut on the ground. I picked it up, peeled it open, and chewed it carefully. It tasted sweet and had endless aftertaste. Only a small chestnut can taste the most subtle taste in such a big mountain and such simplicity. Further down, one, two, three or four, it turns out this is a chestnut plantation. Under my guidance, Wowo also started to pick up while eating. This is another kind of happiness, because each one is an unexpected discovery and gain. Happiness is not about getting more, but about expecting less. It is easiest for people to have the joy of children in nature, because you are always so simple and beautiful at this time.
Find a big rock to sit on, take out the remaining half of the red heart grapefruit, and finally destroy them all. Wowo also dared to drink the last sip of water from the bottom of the accumulation cup. It was silent all around. There was only the sound of the wind rustling the leaves. The world was quiet.
This beautiful blue planet we live in has been running at the same trajectory and speed for tens of thousands of years, but the living space and speed of human beings living on it are expanding rapidly and at an accelerating rate.
Material conditions have also developed rapidly. For example, children, in the not-too-distant past, only had a simple top and a few glass balls, and they could play with their friends for most of the day. Nowadays, children have many toys, and they can use them when they are tired of them. Throw it aside, always looking forward to the next one and the next one.
How is our adult world different? Being overwhelmed by dazzling materials, ubiquitous information, and more and more temptations. Time was divided into pieces and scattered all over the place. The dream is still out of reach, and time has disappeared. People's desire gap is difficult to overcome. There are many things they want to buy and too many places they want to go to. When they see others owning them, they rush to catch up. They worry about being left behind and not keeping up with the pace of the times.
