DAY 9

san sebastian

Dear Lin'an:

I arrived at the final destination of Spain and Portugal.

There are nine points in total on the map, and the name of the last point is San Sebastian.

San Sebastian is a famous cultural city in Europe, even more famous than Paris - all thanks to its world-renowned film festival. The annual film festival is very popular, and movie stars gather together, waiting for the moment when the results are announced - at that time, two of them will stand out and become the year's Best Actor and Best Actress. In addition, the architecture of different styles, the unique cuisine of the Basque Country and the leisurely beaches decorate San Sebastian like a jewel. Hence the name San Sebastian [Silver Pearl].

San Sebastian is breathtakingly beautiful

When we first arrived in the City of Pearls, we saw a group of people dressed in uniform, rushing in a certain direction. According to the tour guide, we happened to catch up with the annual bicycle race, so the police wanted to stop those people on the "Kangzhuang Avenue" Block one by one. Sure enough, all the roads that could lead directly to the beach were cordoned off. We could only resign ourselves to fate and finally arrived at San Sebastian Beach, one of the symbols of San Sebastian. (hereinafter referred to as City Beach)

If you go to City Beach, you will definitely fall in love with it. Just imagine: a few white clouds drift lazily in the blue-green sky, a few seagulls fly quickly across the water, their vigorous silhouettes marked in the blue sky; from time to time the crystal-like waves sweep away some to bask in the sun on the beach Shells, the salty sea breeze blowing against your face... How can such a fascinating scenery not make people intoxicated? I think if a person is filled with admiration when he sees Dameisha, then as soon as he sees the city beach, he can’t wait to publish a book of poems to explain his praise of this beach!

While we were enjoying the beach scenery, my sister seemed to be possessed by a demon and walked slowly towards the sea. The sea was calm, with only a trace of sea breeze blowing by. However, in my eyes, this brief period of calm was just preparation for a more powerful attack. When the sister walked to the edge of the beach, a huge wave caused a "surprise attack". The sister was caught off guard and could only flee back to her position in panic. She was completely awake at this time, but her short skirt was clinging to her body due to the waves, and she didn't want to suffer such torture again.

With this lesson in mind, I discussed it with my parents and decided to travel light. Under the scorching sun and sky, a family of three ran straight to the embrace of the sea with bare feet and exaggerated postures. The wave, which showed no sign of weakness, also attacked with all its strength, ignoring the powerful attack of three people and six legs, and pounced on our legs. We, who had just imagined ourselves traveling in the Sahara Desert, now seemed to have gotten a cool spring water and began to enjoy it happily. For a time, people resting on the shore and playing in the sea, each with their own postures, formed a harmonious custom painting.

pearl beach

City Beach was once called "Pearl Beach" because its silvery-white sand "emits a stopping light like a pearl in the sun." It was also known as "Shell Beach". Shells are a specialty of the city's beaches and are synonymous with the city's beaches. It is also the shells that give this little-known beach its sparkling vitality. I walked back from the noisy seaside and stepped on the hot sand. Every step made my feet sink deeply into the soft sand. Unlike other beaches, either the yellow sand is gentle and peaceful and there is no threshold for everyone to step on, or the small stones are so painful, or the rocks are covered with moss, and people have to step hard to step on them. Gonna slip. This white beach will not give you the same difficulties as a rocky beach, but the white light in your eyes is more dazzling than an ordinary yellow beach. I looked back and saw that my sister had retreated to the beach. She squinted at me who was still wandering on the beach, and then put on her sunglasses.

I dug a small hole here and a shallow pit there, trying to find the shells that were said to be "covered all over the beach." My footsteps made a big circle on the beach, and my hands were almost as warm as the sand. I only found a few ordinary-shaped, small-sized shells. Just when I was full of confidence and wanted to "search" for shells again, the burning feeling on my feet reminded me: just accept it when you see it.

Street scene in San Sebastian

I hope that one day, our country will be like other countries, with pleasant air every day, and when we travel to big cities, we can still see local [landmarks] that have been preserved for many years.

Ah, the plane is taking off now. The weather is beautiful today, the sun shines on the plane, and the wings shine bright silver.

See you at the beginning of school.
