"The best preparation for death is to live life to the fullest. Enjoy the most beautiful tea in the world, brew it well and don't drink it from a plastic cup, wear the clothes you've always wanted, read the books you've always wanted to do Everything, no matter how outrageous and annoying, do it now because you may never get the chance again

——Dzongsar Rinpoche

I met A Xiao at the inn.

Like many travel friends who come to Tibet, they are constantly breathing and breathing frequently to adapt to the discomfort caused by the lack of oxygen at high altitudes.

She said that fortunately, she took the train to Tibet and was able to avoid the severe high fever. She only felt a little chest tightness.

He was still wearing the oversized jacket he had worn when we first met him, so he couldn't wait to put down his backpack and come to the yard to chat with us.

A girl from a southern coastal city.

She said her dream life would be to live in a lakeside town.

The sky is blue, there are cicadas chirping in summer, and it snows in winter. I have a small yard surrounded by fences and full of flowers and plants. I have a kitten and a big dog. I sit in the yard every day and watch them play and smell the moisture from the lake. The breeze carries the fragrance of flowers and plants, refreshing and mellow.

In quiet time, have a stable and leisurely job, learn to accept love and love others, read beautiful books extensively and seriously, and write touching words.

She is a girl with ordinary appearance but profound qualities. She is very talkative, firm and sensitive.

Her long hair was slightly curly, with a few strands messily picked up and pinned to the back of her head. She wore light makeup, and her dark brown eyes covered by long eyelashes shone coldly, making her look casual and untouchable.

Reaching out from her large pale pink jacket, she picked up the tea poured by the shopkeeper on the table and drank it in one gulp. After a pause and waiting for all the tea leaves to fall, she began to talk about her journey to Tibet.

This was her graduation trip and her first trip to Tibet. She had been planning it for four years before arriving in Lhasa after taking a train for more than 40 hours. A small travel bag is filled with all the luggage:

“The meaning of travel lies in the scenery and the people you meet along the way. Simplicity is the best.”

A familiar smile spread from her lips, the smile of a Tibetan traveler, gratified and sincere.

Talking about the journey, her first and most profound memory of Tibet was when she climbed the Tanggula Mountains and officially entered Tibet.

Looking far away from the Tanggula Mountain Pass at an altitude of more than 5,000 meters, grasslands, snow-capped mountains, white clouds and blue sky merge into one as far as the eye can see.

The silver-white Tanggula snow peaks stretch endlessly, ancient glaciers rush down, and clouds and mist linger on the mountain tops, outlining the infinite holiness of this snow-covered plateau.

Tanggula Mountain is as tall as history. It is cold and majestic all day long. Only when it encounters the touch of the sun will its sweetness melt.

They merge into rivers to nourish the grassland, integrate with all things, and penetrate into the souls of living beings, protecting this snow-covered holy land from generation to generation.

At this time, there is only silence in the heart, and the gaze is focused and infinite. All the confusion, doubt, desire, and confusion in the world are shattered. White light fills the heart. Time begins to stand still, but you will catch a glimpse of the ice and snow melting in the stillness. All things are natural, Birth and death, endless and endless.

The corners of Ah Xiao’s eyes began to twinkle brightly

It seems that words cannot describe the first holy mountain in her heart

In front of the vast beauty of the world

Only admiration and memory are the best ways

She raised her hand to brush the loose hair around her face to her ears, and asked the shopkeeper to fill the cup with tea. She watched the green tea in the cup swirl, settle, and gradually become purer. She also told us about the first person she met after entering Tibet. Lake——Cuona Lake.

A few hours after passing through the Tanggula Mountains, you will reach Cuona Lake. As the highest freshwater lake in the world and the source of the Nu River, Cuona is not as well-known as Namtso, but every traveler entering Tibet by train will know it. Encounter her beauty and be moved by it.

I saw the blue lake surface reflecting the mountains and sky, the lake water was pure and clear, water birds were cruising and flying, yaks and Tibetan antelopes were scattered in the grassland beside the lake, and colorful prayer flags were floating on the roofs of several Tibetan houses.

She said she had never been so close to heaven.

The intersection of purity and antiquity, the intersection of nature and humanity, The beauty of Cona Lake exists in this eternal land, and in the hearts and beliefs of the herders who have lived here for generations.

The sun pours down through the white clouds, washing away all the warm ashes and dreamy bubbles in the body and soul. At this time, the five aggregates are empty.

Ah Xiao came back to his senses and wanted to say something more, but did not continue, as if something was missing.

Facing this clean land, she is just an ordinary traveler with dreams, just a tiny drop in the river of time.

For her, the journey has just begun.

When I asked A Xiao what would he think of when facing the snow-capped mountains and lakes?

she says:

"Everything is subtle, thank you for meeting me. "
