First experience of skiing in Xiling Snow Mountain
We went to Xiling Snow Mountain on the first day of the New Year's Day holiday. Considering that we only went to Zhougong Mountain to soak in the hot springs two weeks ago and the housing prices during the New Year's Day holiday were not cost-effective, we decided to go back and forth to Xiling Snow Mountain with Maomao in one day. When I was a child, I lived in the countryside. There were no high-rise buildings. When the weather was nice, I could see the Xiling Snow Mountain from my doorstep. Nowadays, only when the weather is particularly good and the visibility is particularly high, you can occasionally see the Big Snow Pond, the main peak of Xiling Snow Mountain. When I was a child, I thought the mountains were very high. When I grew up, I went there and found that they were not that high.

Xiling Snow Mountain is also a very famous and mature scenic spot in Sichuan. In terms of passenger service and order maintenance, it is actually quite good. Hot water is available in many places, and the bathrooms can release hot water, so you can still wash your hands after washing your hands. It’s so warm. After taking the first cable car and bus, we arrived at Yingxue Square. Originally, Maomao and I were going to go directly up the mountain, but we were attracted by the snow play project next to it. The moment I went out, I felt like the world was spinning. I slid down the snowy slope very fast. The whole process may be as simple as It takes less than 1 minute, but it’s really exciting and fun, and there are very few people in line. It’s still worth recommending~
Then we bought the second ropeway from Yingxue Square to Riyueping. In fact, the weather in Yingxue Square was not that good, but after taking the cable car through the clouds, we were on top of the sea of clouds. The sun was shining brightly above our heads, and there were no clouds in the sky. Below the cable car were mountains wrapped in white snow, just like before. The experience of riding the cable car in Hailuogou is very similar. When the weather is good, taking a cable car through the snow-capped mountains is like traveling through a fairyland. After arriving at Riyueping, we were surrounded by layers of clouds and rising mountains, and we felt a lot more open. There were actually much fewer people on the top of the mountain than expected, but the plank road was icy and quite slippery. Classmate Xiao Huang proudly took out the crampons he brought and put them on me, making me the most "stable" on the top of the mountain. people 😎
The sky was clear and cloudless. When I was hiking in the Yin and Yang Realm, I saw the sea of clouds on both sides and the snow-covered mountains. I really felt that there was a very majestic and pure beauty. I also saw the forest elves in the woods - little squirrels🐿. It's really cute to jump up and down on the pine tree with the snacks given by tourists, shaking off some snowflakes from time to time.
After walking for about an hour, we arrived at the end of the Yin and Yang Realm. My classmate Xiao Huang and I rested in a small pavilion at the end. We took the braised duck wings packed from home and started to bask in the sun, enjoy the scenery, and eat braised meat. It’s so comfortable~
Later, I took the cable car down the mountain and passed through the sea of clouds. I later discovered that the clear sky on the mountain and the dark clouds below the mountain formed a particularly sharp contrast. Without the sun, the temperature may have dropped by 10 degrees. It was so cold that I had to hide in a snack bar to finish drinking. I warmed myself up with soup and bought a roasted sweet potato to warm my hands. After dinner, I went to the ski resort for night skiing around 7 o'clock. I missed the bustling crowds during the day. The experience of skiing at night for the first time was also very special.

We played until 9pm and then took the shuttle bus and cable car down the mountain. When we arrived at the parking lot, the car windshield was already frozen, so we had to carefully pour warm water on it and let it melt slowly. Then when I went back, I perfectly missed the rush hour on the return trip due to traffic accidents. It was a perfect day~
