In this way, sometimes he can explain it to us without the expedition team members explaining it, so every time we go out as a team, I will try my best to have my group members on the same boat, and of course it is best if my group leader is also on the boat.
On the first afternoon of the cruise, because the expedition team member was a shy young man who didn’t like to talk, and the leader of the Shanghai group was his first time in Antarctica, his English was so-so. I saw golden penguins yesterday, and today I saw chinstrap penguins. Chinstrap penguins are easy to recognize because they have a black strip under their necks, which looks like a hat strap. The Antarctic Convention clearly stipulates that Antarctica does not belong to any Countries, but usually the establishment of a post office in a place means that they think it belongs to their territory, but these are all in the fuzzy zone now, and their postcards have to be brought back to the UK and mailed again. There is also a small museum at the British station. It is a reproduction of some scenes when some of the earliest British scientists came here for scientific research.
