Because a lot of rain means mold and dampness, clothes will never dry completely, and food will go bad in a few hours if it is not placed in the refrigerator. Just like people who live inland all year round, they will imagine the sea as romantic and wonderful, but people who live by the sea will also imagine the fantasy scenery of living in the inland forest...

Most areas in Diqing Prefecture are dry lands. The fact that the sun shines on Jinshan Mountain all year round means there is little rain, which is definitely not something the people living here want to see. Less rain means poor crop yields. It is about 16 kilometers from the get off point to the inn in Yubengshang Village. The entrance fee to the village is 55 yuan per person. From Nanzheng Pass to Yubeng Village, you still need to hike a little more than 3 kilometers. Even though I was exhausted, and in such a state, I definitely had no intention of enjoying the scenery. But I still think Yubeng is beautiful, and the conflict with local Tibetans at noon did not affect my mood. Yaks, mules, donkeys and horses can be seen everywhere in Yubengshang Village. They live in harmony with people, tourists and all the animals here, and they know how to give way when they see people. There is a bell hanging under the neck of the mules and horses, which jingles as they walk. In addition, you can also see many dogs and cats. It is said that the inn where we stay tonight has the most cats.
