1. Contradictions in the early morning
Overlooking Deqin County from the hotel

Our first project today is to go to Feilai Temple to watch "Rizhao Jinshan". When the sun's rays pass through the earth's atmosphere in the early morning and evening, due to the "Rayleigh scattering" effect, the human eye can see more red light from the sun than purple light, and the morning sun and sunset will show a golden effect.
When you stand in space, the sunlight you see is white because there is no atmosphere to block the light. Standing on the earth, since the principle of Rayleigh scattering is that the intensity of light is inversely proportional to the fourth power of the wavelength, when the weather is clear, the blue light with the strongest wavelength and highest energy will be scattered by atmospheric molecules and fill the entire sky. We can see the blue sky. The weather in your area will also change the color of the glow. Sometimes the thickness of the clouds will make it appear bright red, fiery red or golden.

If you understand this truth, you will know that "the sun shines on the golden mountain" is not a sign or omen of luck. If you really believe that "Rizhao Jinshan" is lucky, then there are many places in China where you can see it. You just need to pay attention to the weather forecast. Wherever the weather is good, you can go to see it. The most convenient place is of course Lijiang. . Because the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Lijiang also has the effect of sunshine on the Golden Mountain. Of course, you will definitely say that only Rizhao Jinshan in Meili Snow Mountain is blessed with luck because it is a sacred mountain. I'm sorry to tell you that this mountain did not exist at one time. The entire southwest region was still covered by the sea tens of millions to 100 million years ago. Later, the Indian Plate and the Eurasian Plate collided and extruded. In the future, this place will still collapse, shatter, or be submerged again due to volcanic eruptions, plate movements, meteorite or asteroid impacts. This drama has been repeated over and over again on Earth for billions of years. It was like this before humans appeared, and it is still like this after humans are extinct due to natural disasters (this is a high probability) . Therefore, I hope that friends who go here just have the attitude of seeing the scenery, rather than being so-called lucky. The earth does not exist and operate according to your will or imagination.
We live in the center of Deqin County. Deqin County is quiet and dark at 6:30 in the morning. Because of this, the sound of running water from a tributary of the Lancang River passing through Deqin County is very special in the quiet night. Extremely loud. The hotel is facing this stream rushing from top to bottom, and the room windows also face it, as well as the nearby gymnasium. The gymnasium had neon lights that flickered on and off like warning lights all night long. Our curtains had no light-blocking effect, and the sound insulation effect of the windows and doors was poor. Even Yuanyuan, a person who does not have high requirements for a sleeping environment, was awakened. Many times. She woke up after less than an hour of sleep, muttering why the curtains weren't closed? I said it was closed. Shilin and Yu stayed next door and also enjoyed our treatment. After meeting in the morning, they also said that they couldn't sleep well because of the neon lights outside the window.

Yuanyuan and I got up at 5:40, but in fact I woke up long ago. It should be said that my total sleep time this night was only about two hours. At five o'clock, I was awakened again by the sound of running water outside the window. It sounded like a running tap in the room. I asked Yuanyuan, have you slept well? She said she didn't sleep well. In fact, I knew it. I woke up many times during the night and once saw her looking at her mobile phone.

The temperature difference between morning and evening is not big, so just wear a thin jacket. The weather was very dry, and the T-shirts I washed late at night were almost dry. Because I didn't sleep well, I was like a slow-moving panda packing my luggage. In fact, it was only a 45-liter + backpack, and it took me 10 minutes to pack it.
At six o'clock, it was still dark outside except for the human lights. There were more than a dozen tourists standing at the front desk and door of the inn, and there was also a bus with the door open parked, belonging to another group. Dongdong, Miss Zhang, Shilin, Yuting, and Yiliduo were waiting downstairs, but Yinggen, Zhantai, Lixia, and Luo Ke were nowhere to be seen. We agreed to meet in front of the inn at 6:20 this morning. We still have more than ten minutes, so I'm not in a hurry. In fact, it’s okay to set off at 6:40. I was 20 minutes early because I was worried that someone might oversleep and be late. Unexpectedly, someone was really late today, and there were four people, one of whom included the driver and the master. Master He can understand, he was blocked by an off-road vehicle early in the morning. When we were traveling in Hunan last year, after getting up early in the morning, the exit of the parking lot was blocked by a car. We waited for more than half an hour before we managed to get out.
I saw a very fast car rushing towards me from a distance. The lights made it difficult for me to distinguish the model, but at this speed, I thought it must be our car. After braking with the master, I immediately came down and said sorry, I was just blocked by a car. I said it's okay.
But Yakult was already impatient with waiting and showed extreme anxiety. I told them that I had already called them, but they didn't set the alarm clock, so they overslept. It was me who called them, and the ringing woke them up. I also asked them in the WeChat group to stop brushing their teeth and washing their faces and to come down quickly.

In the car, Yakult hurriedly said with a pale face that he could wait no longer, he would take a taxi and get out of the car. His tone and facial expression showed strong dissatisfaction, as if I was the one who was late. I said okay, then you go ahead.

He got out of the car, hailed a taxi, and negotiated the price. It was probably too expensive, so he didn't take it. After the taxi left, he picked up his phone and looked at the screen, probably calling an online taxi. Ten minutes later, Yi Yiangen and Luo Ke came down and said they were sorry. After another two minutes, Lixia also came down.

Let's ask Yakult to get on the bus, everyone is here. He just returned to the car. It was already 6:40 and they were 20 minutes late. The master and he immediately closed the door and drove to pick up Su Ya and Luo Yi at the inn ahead. Due to their late arrival, the couple had to wait on the roadside for an extra 20 minutes.

There was still a conflicting atmosphere in the car. They all had people who complained about being late, and they were still discussing the issue of being late and causing delays. The platform said that they used to charge one yuan for being late for outdoor activities (I thought it was so cheap, if I were to set the rules, it would cost ten yuan for one minute) Shilin said that they had to carry watermelons when they were late... Yakult Still chattering endlessly, which makes me, the team leader, feel embarrassed. He said that if everything goes well, today is to see Rizhao Jinshan. If you miss it, you won’t be able to see it. I said no, we wouldn’t miss it even if we set off at 6:50. Because the weather forecast shows that today's sunrise will be around 7:17, it only takes 20 minutes to drive from our hotel. If you drive fast, you can get there in 15 minutes.
I know that most people must have resentment in their hearts. It's just a matter of how much. After all, I was twenty minutes late, not two minutes. In order to ease the awkward and tense atmosphere at this moment, I said that those who are late should send a red envelope in the group.

In fact, I don’t need to tell you that according to the normal rules for playing outdoors, red envelopes will be given out immediately if you are late, and no one needs to remind you. The reason why I opened this mouth is to stop those who are still blaming them and to give those who are late a step to step down.

Yigengen, Lixia and Luo Ke all gave out red envelopes in the group. I thought this matter should just go away. Unexpectedly, Lixia would keep complaining about this matter in the car, and on the morning of October 6, she once again broke out with more intense and uncontrollable emotions over this matter. I was shocked and incomprehensible. As a team leader and organizer of this event, I not only did not scold her excessively for being twenty minutes late, I even asked them to send a red envelope in the group in order to help them get rid of the embarrassment quickly. Not only did Lixia not accept the favor, it was her turn to be upset at the moment. It seems that none of us should blame her for being late and ask her to give her a red envelope. However, no one deliberately targeted her alone, it was the three of them who were late. Moreover, I didn’t say how many red envelopes I would give out. Just give me 20 or 30 yuan, or even 10 yuan. I won’t force you to give out a big red envelope of 200 yuan.

When they arrived at Feilai Temple Observation Deck, Lixia did not get out of the car. I asked Roque, where is Lixia? He said he couldn't get out of the car. Yuanyuan told me that Luoke was so pitiful. I said what happened to Rock? Yuanyuan said that after we got off the bus, Rock would still sit there and listen to Lixia’s constant complaints. I was angry, I said she was late, what was there to complain about? Shouldn't we all say something about her being late? At this time, Shilin also said that Lixia had indeed gone too far, and talked about some of his personal opinions...
I didn't say a word to her about this at the time or after the event. However, it was October 6th that really made me almost lose my temper. That day, Yigengen was late again, twenty-five minutes late. We made an appointment to gather at eight o'clock. Just after one o'clock, Yiangen, Dongdong and Miss Zhang still hadn't arrived. Lixia seemed to have found a way to vent the resentment she had accumulated for several days. She made a loud noise in the lobby of the inn. She blamed the latecomers and said what they would do to them before she would give up. She also bitterly recounted her grievances about being late on the morning of the 3rd, and said that she cried for a long time in the car...

I was really shocked and then angry, but I kept restraining myself. It can be said that I have been out playing outdoors for so many years and have encountered many incredible things, but I can understand them all. However, I still can't understand Lixia's attitude, and I can't forgive it. She was not having a conflict because of the lateness of the team members. She was venting her "anger" and wanted those who were late today to be punished in order to balance her emotions. In other words, she has an extremely unhealthy mentality towards problems. I will not accept this, nor am I willing to understand it, nor will I accept any explanation.

The "anger" she suffered was entirely self-inflicted. First, she was the first to be late on the 3rd. Being late is being late, and there is no excuse unless there is a car accident or other unexpected incident. However, forgetting to set the alarm clock is a problem of your own carelessness. Adults have to pay for their own carelessness. As the leader of this event, I did not criticize her harshly in front of everyone that day, and even In order for the three of them not to feel embarrassed in the car, let others say less and ask them to send a red envelope. This should also be the end of the matter. Not only was she ungrateful and disrespectful, she also dragged the so-called "angry" that had happened in the past and was her own problem until it broke out again on the morning of the 6th, and this time the outburst was more intense than the last time. , several of us couldn't help it, and told her to stop talking, but she still didn't listen. She was hysterical at the front desk of the inn. People who don't know the truth must think that she was treated unfairly by us on the morning of the 3rd...

2. Meili Snow Mountain

Feilai Temple Observation Deck (behind is the hotel, the sun has risen)
At the highest point in front of Feilai Temple Observation Deck, covered by dark clouds is Meili Snow Mountain. Please pay attention to the white areas at the top of the picture, that is Meili Snow Mountain. ↓
Before seven o'clock, there was already a circle of people standing at the fence of the Feilai Temple viewing platform. Experience tells me that there is basically no chance today. The protagonist today is the low and dense clouds, some of which are so extreme that they even float into the valley in front of you. They drift aimlessly in the wind and never leave, blocking the sunshine and Meili Snow Mountain.

I was lucky. There was actually an empty space in the middle of the long fence, so I just stayed here and didn't dare to move. I know that as soon as I move, this best shooting position will be gone soon.

At about 7:19, a small patch of faint golden-red light appeared in the sky behind him, and a few clouds were also dyed light orange. We know the sun has risen, but we still can't see it. The short-lived light was quickly covered by dense clouds, making the sky oppressive and dark most of the time. People still don't give up and are still looking forward to a miracle.

But we were mentally prepared. When we were waiting for the team members in front of the Deqin County Inn, we looked up at the sky and could not see the moon or stars. There must be only one reason for not being able to see it, and that is that it is obscured by clouds. The driver and master also told us that based on his many years of experience, there is a high probability that we will not see it today.

I actually have an indifferent attitude as to whether I can see "Rizhao Jinshan" . People who have lived here all year round have seen it countless times in their lives. I think it is no longer rare for them. The reason why outsiders hold strong visions is simply that they have never seen it before. You can imagine how much people in arid areas hope for long-term rains, so that crops will grow well, other plants will grow well, and cattle and sheep will naturally be strong and meaty. But for southerners, rain is just the norm here, and even becomes an annoying thing. Because a lot of rain means mold and dampness, clothes will never dry completely, and food will go bad in a few hours if it is not placed in the refrigerator. Just like people who live inland all year round, they will imagine the sea as romantic and wonderful, but people who live by the sea will also imagine the fantasy scenery of living in the inland forest...
Most areas in Diqing Prefecture are dry lands. The fact that the sun shines on Jinshan Mountain all year round means there is little rain, which is definitely not something the people living here want to see. Less rain means poor crop yields. Farmers who rely on going to the mountains to pick wild fungi and herbs will also have lower harvests, and cattle and sheep will not be able to eat fresh and juicy grass. In short, if you can often see the sun shining on Jinshan Mountain, it is definitely not a harbinger of miracles and happiness for the people living here.

The clouds are thick and numerous today, which means it will rain soon. Rain and sunshine can make everything full of vitality. If you understand this truth, then it is not a pity that you cannot see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain today. If you can’t see it, just go to Moments, Weibo, or Douyin. Anyway, a lot of people will post it.

Whether you are successful in your career or not, just like coming to Meili Snow Mountain, the chance that most tourists will be able to see Rizhao Jinshan is very low. People who can see the sun shining on the golden mountain do not mean that they work harder or are smarter than you, they are just lucky. The same is true for career success or failure. But that doesn’t mean you have to give up or stop coming. If you don't come, you won't have any chance to see Rizhao Jinshan with your own eyes in this life. If you come, you still have a chance, although it's not big. The same is true for doing business. If you don't do it, you will definitely not succeed. Only if you work hard will you have a chance.
Although the clouds almost completely cover the Meili Snow Mountain, we can still feel its kingly presence among the mountains. In the Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibetan areas, although there are many snow-capped mountains with an altitude of more than 6,000 meters, they are hardly as impressive as the Meili Snow Mountain. Because they are surrounded by mountains of the same height. As for Meili Snow Mountain, if you look at it from any position, it will be surrounded by smaller mountains. The visual effect is like Yao Ming standing next to Guo Jingming.
Come to Fei Lai Temple to watch the video of Meili Snow Mountain. Please pay attention to the white spots at the top of the video. Those are Meili Snow Mountain.
Meili Snow Mountain
We left the observation deck at 7:40. Because even if all the clouds in the sky disperse at this moment, the effect of Jinshan will not be there. We had breakfast at the restaurant opposite the observation deck. A bowl of steaming beef noodles seemed to cost 20 yuan a bowl. I forgot about it because Yuanyuan paid the bill. I also added an egg. Because I didn't sleep well, I couldn't eat this egg originally, but I knew that today I would have to carry more than 20 kilograms and walk more than ten kilometers on a mountain road, so I had to eat more high-protein food.

After breakfast, we got on the bus and headed to Xidang Village. About 8 minutes ahead from Feilai Temple, we arrived at the Kawagebo Peak Observation Deck. The master and we parked here so that we could enjoy the scenery and take photos.

It took an hour to reach Xidang Village, and there were not many tourists. For some unknown reason, the scenic area staff stopped our car in front and said we would not let it go. Master He left us here, and we bid farewell to him here. Before leaving, I shook hands with him again and said thank you to him. I will cooperate with him again when I come here in the future.

3. Xidang Village
It is about 16 kilometers from the get off point to the inn in Yubengshang Village. The entrance fee to the village is 55 yuan per person. If you don’t want to hike, you can also take an off-road vehicle. The off-road vehicle charges 150 yuan per person to take you to Nanzheng Pass. From Nanzheng Pass to Yubeng Village, you still need to hike a little more than 3 kilometers. If you take the bus to Yubeng Village, you will have to walk 3 kilometers less, and the cost is 200 yuan per person.

After walking for a while, the whole body became hot. Everyone stopped and stuffed their jackets back into their backpacks. I saw Luo Yi hanging a bag on the front and back, and I said your girlfriend is going too far. How can you be allowed to carry two bags alone? He put down his bag and whispered into my ear that she had her period today.
Oh, I thought to myself, this man is so nice.
My shoulder injury became more and more painful under the continuous pressure of the backpack weighing more than 20 kilograms. The pain was unbearable. When I think about walking more than ten kilometers, I'm afraid my shoulders will be useless by the time I reach Yubeng Village. But I comfort myself that I can pack light tomorrow and just be patient today.
The road from Xidang Village to Yubengshang Village is quite primitive, but has obvious man-made traces. In the past, when there was no traffic, supplies could only be transported by horses and mules. Even if a road is built now, it is not a cement road or an asphalt road, but a pure dirt road. When vehicles pass by, they will raise smoke-like mud and dust that will not dissipate for a long time. If you are not wearing an N95 mask, then you can only helplessly act as a human vacuum cleaner. Luo Yi sent a message in the group, saying that he was full from eating dust. Yuanyuan seemed to complain to me for this reason, saying why do we always spend money to find trouble.
The way to Yubeng from Xidang Village
I walked very hard, the first reason being the high altitude here. The second is that I haven’t slept well for many days, and the third is that I have a lot of injuries on my body. I have a new shoulder injury, lumbar spine injury, hip injury, and various reasons that make it difficult for me to walk. But the platform and Yakult were slower than me, which I didn't expect. But I later came to understand that after all, Platform is 49 years old, much older than us, and it is normal for him to have poor physical fitness.

Not long after we walked, on the uphill slope, Luo Yi and Su Ya climbed up from a trail. There is a warning sign here that says: This road is dangerous and entry is prohibited. I advised Luo Yi not to go there, but he didn't listen. I was very angry about this because I was worried that something might happen if I took a dangerous route. Guangzhou has a very mature hiking route called Longxian, which is Longdong Forest Park. In 2017, a man of about 30 years old was hiking here and took an untraveled path. An accident occurred. The Blue Sky Rescue Team was at the bottom of the valley. His body was found. It is also on this line that a tragedy occurred in 2009, and a 28-year-old young man died.

Luo Yi and Su Ya's behavior makes me very angry. For this reason, I posted this notice in the WeChat group the next day: Starting from tomorrow, everyone will act collectively and cannot go their own way or take other routes alone. Otherwise, the organizer will remove him or her from the team, and all hotels and chartered buses will be cancelled. Don't blame the cutie if you don't have a hotel to stay in or a car to return to Dali. Also, mountains are what they are, don’t complain. Someone just chatted privately about the little cutie complaining and getting angry. I don't know why this is happening? What do you mean by being angry with me? is that useful?

However, this warning is not just for Luo Yi and Su Ya, but for everyone in the team. On the morning of the 4th, a female player in our team got emotional with me, which was one of the reasons why I issued a warning. If I issue a warning and she continues to make trouble, then I will definitely ask her to leave my team immediately. Even if this person is my mother, I have no mercy in this regard. I can't let one person's emotions affect the entire team or my leadership. One more thing, I hope everyone is safe and sound. If an accident happened because of me going out, and I became disabled or even died, I would feel guilty for the rest of my life. To put it more selfishly, if something happens to them, I, as the organizer, have to bear the greatest responsibility. I don't want to take someone out for a hike and not make a penny, but have to lose all my money.

Cow on the road

3. Fierce conflict

Two hours later, at twelve o'clock, we arrived at supply point No. 1. I'm relatively slow. I didn’t expect anyone to be slower than me. Zhan Tai, Yakult, Luo Yi and Su Ya were still behind. I bought a can of eight-treasure porridge here for 10 yuan. I think the price is acceptable.
Supply Station No. 1
By the time I finished eating the eight-treasure porridge, a light drizzle was already falling from the sky. I continued to walk forward slowly for more than an hour and arrived at the No. 2 supply station. More than a dozen hikers were already sitting inside, and the light rain gradually stopped. There are two owners of Supply Station No. 2, a father and son. The old man, probably in his 50s, was clearing the table. The young man is about 30 years old and cooking.
Not long after I sat down, I saw a young lady holding a water cup in her hand and asking the young man if he had hot water. He said yes, and it cost 10 yuan.

When I heard that it cost 10 yuan to get a little hot water, I felt strong contempt and disgust for this person. Then, I saw the young man starting to chase away the tourists, saying that those who don’t want to spend money should not sit there for so long, and they can only sit for 5 or 6 minutes.

I thought to myself, isn’t this a supply station? Why can't tourists sit here and take a rest? Didn’t we already pay 55 yuan for the entrance ticket to the village? So what services did we get for the 55 yuan? This is a natural village in China. As a Chinese, I should have the right to enter and exit freely. I am willing to go into a village and you charge me 55 yuan. I will treat it as a small contribution to the development of tourism here. I also hope that Yubeng Village can make full use of the resources here to do a good job in tourism.
However, a few hundred milliliters of hot water costs 10 yuan, and tourists will be chased away if they sit for a while. Do you want to make a good trip?
At this time, the rain outside became heavier again, and I wanted to wait for the rain to stop before moving forward. I know if I sit here and don't consume, they will definitely come and drive me away. Although I had just bought a can of rice-treasure porridge at the No. 1 supply station and was not hungry now, I still ordered a fried rice for 30 yuan. There are no special ingredients in the 30 yuan fried rice, which is about the amount of an egg and a small amount of chopped vegetables. Only five-diamond restaurants in Guangzhou dare to charge this price (please note that the ratings of hotels and restaurants are different. The hotel is rated A and the restaurant is rated Diamond). I can't eat this fried rice, I just bought it as a privilege to sit here for a while longer to avoid the rain. Less than a minute after ordering the fried rice, one of my teammates, nearly 50 years old, also walked in to take shelter from the rain. Less than 3 seconds after he came in, the young man told him that he had to spend money when he came in. When I heard this sentence again, the anger in my chest could no longer be suppressed. I said, "It's raining outside now. What's wrong with others coming in to take shelter?"
The young man said with a smile: "You can sit, but you can only sit for 5 or 6 minutes."
"You still have so much open space here, why can't you let people sit for a while? Also, this is my teammate. I ordered fried rice here, can't I let my teammates sit for a while?"
"Okay, I didn't say not to let him sit, but he can only sit for 5 or 6 minutes without consumption."
I can't understand why he came up with the rule that he can only sit for 5 or 6 minutes, and it's raining outside. Why can't he be a little humane? I continued: "It's raining outside, can't you see?..."

Before I finished speaking, my teammate couldn't hold himself back and came over to choke him: "Why don't I just sit there for 10 minutes?"

I said to my teammates: "Just sit here and don't leave. Don't be afraid. I've already spent my money."

The young man pointed at us and threatened: "If you are cruel again, do you have the ability to be cruel again?"

Not to be outdone, I said, "That's how I talk. What's wrong?"

My teammates said, "What's wrong? Are you still going to hit someone? Oops, I'm so scared."
At this time, the young man's father also came over to assist his son. My resolute teammate became even more angry. He said: "I am Chinese. I have the right to sit here and rest. Did I pay more than 50 yuan for a ticket?" Can’t I enjoy the service? Am I not even qualified to sit here? I’m Chinese.”

I can understand the anger of my teammate. He is 49 years old and has been to many scenic spots at home and abroad. This is the first time he has been so arrogant like today. You say you can still understand it abroad, but this is in your own country.

I was worried that they would start fighting, so I pushed my aggressive teammates back and said, "Forget it, platform, don't be like this, don't be angry, we won't come back anymore."

The father and son seemed to want to make the matter bigger. When I persuaded my teammates to calm down, they still attacked my teammates with fierce words. The young man threatened me again: "You are the one who caused this. You are the one who caused this today. Don't do it." Come on, I'll settle this account with you later."

When I turned my head and looked back at my teammates and the old man who were still yelling hoarsely, I found that their bodies had been twisted together, and then my teammates pushed the old man down. I immediately walked over and said: "Oh, okay, this is how it is here, stop doing it, let's go."

The young man came over with a machete from the cooking table and said, "Why did you push someone down?"

Teammate said: "He pushed me first."

The old man said: "You push me first"

The young man said: "We have surveillance here, you can't fool anyone"

My teammates said, "Let's go see the surveillance camera."

Later, the platform told us that the old man pushed him three times, and he finally pushed him because he couldn't bear it anymore.

The young man hid the knife behind his back and I saw it. I was worried that he would kill my teammate with a knife at any time, so I stood next to the place where the hiking poles were placed. I calmly told myself at this moment that as soon as the young man stabbed someone with a knife, I would immediately pick up the hiking stick and stab him in the eyes and throat.

Why can I only stab him in the most lethal part? Because the damage caused to the human body by the trekking pole is very small, it is impossible to stop the thugs from continuing to inflict harm. Its structure can only stab the vulnerable parts of the human body to quickly and effectively stop the mob. But I was also worried, what if I stabbed him to death? I will definitely go to jail. If I go to jail, I may never see my mother and my poor Yuanyuan again...

Although I was ready to pick up my hiking poles for defense at any time, I continued to persuade my teammates and young guys in a gentle tone, and said against my will: "Okay, okay, boss, we made a mistake, it's us Wrong, you are right, this is your private territory, we should not rest here."

When the old man saw his son holding a knife, he was afraid that things would get out of control, so he blocked him with his hand and said don't do this.

But the young man had no intention of calming down the matter and was still threatening us, saying that we would not be allowed to leave until the matter was resolved. I don't know how he wants to solve it. Does he want us to pay him? Other than that, I can't figure out how he would want us to resolve it before he would give up. However, I am not willing to give even a dime. As for my strong and upright teammate, I will not compromise with them, even if it costs my life.

Alarm record at that time ↓
I know that continuing to struggle like this won't solve the problem, and things may develop in unpredictable directions. I picked up my mobile phone and dialed the local 110 police number and described what was happening here to the responding officer. When the father and son saw me calling the police, they immediately looked flustered, signaled me with their hands to stop talking, and whispered that we could leave. I told the police on the phone that it was okay, and they said they were willing to mediate privately. Sorry to bother you. The police warned: "You must calm down and don't do anything illegal"...

I thought I could leave, but the young boss said, wait a minute, call the police again and say that what happened just now is your fault, otherwise it will ruin the reputation of my place. I smiled in my heart, do you still need me to ruin your reputation here? Don’t you even know that you’ve already broken it?

I was worried that the situation that had just calmed down would erupt again, so I had to follow his request and call 110 again to tell the police that it was our fault...
Before leaving, the young man said to me sincerely: "Don't mess with us Tibetans. You can't afford to mess with us. What good will it do to you if I kill you here?"
I nodded in agreement and said, "Yes, yes, what you said makes sense, thank you."

We continued to move forward, and not long after, I told the platform that I must complain about this matter today. The platform said that once the matter is over, forget it. I said forget it. If they don't get any punishment, tourists will be bullied like this in the future. We are not doing this for ourselves, but for all previous, present and future visitors. The platform said that he likes to solve problems on the spot, and after that, he doesn’t want to do it again. It is not easy for them and their son to open a store here. If we complain, they may not be able to operate here in the future. Moreover, if you file a complaint now, you will have to go to the police station to cooperate with the police in taking notes, which is a waste of time.

I really can't understand. Just now, the platform was like an untamable wild horse, but now he can think about the person who almost cut him with a knife. His brain circuit is really incredible. But tonight, his attitude will change. Dongdong and Yigengen told him that they also saw the father and son driving away tourists. The platform said, oh, then this is different. I thought he was targeting us at the time. If this is the case, it seems that you have to file a complaint.

I have already made up my mind that I will make a complaint when I return to Guangzhou. Why didn’t I complain then? I am worried that after the tourism bureau and police station come to them after making a complaint, they may chase us to Yubeng Village to seek revenge. I’m not familiar with the place here, and I don’t have any background or connections. I’m afraid it will be difficult to resist.

4. Yubeng Village

The reason why I feel very tired today is as I have said. Mainly because I didn’t sleep well and I was injured. In addition, most of our journey today is climbing. From Xidang Village, which is over 2,200 meters above sea level, we have to walk all the way to 100 meters above sea level. The whole journey is about 16 kilometers from Nanzheng Pass at 3,800 meters to Yubeng Village at 3,100 meters above sea level. On the first day, the scenery from Xidang Village to Yubeng Village was extremely ordinary in the eyes of my team members, and some even said it was featureless. The most picky one is Yuanyuan. I have traveled to hundreds of places in China with her. She likes to say that this place is ordinary and that there is ordinary.

If it hadn't been for a conflict at the No. 2 supply station that delayed me for more than half an hour, my speed would have been similar to that of my teammates in front. They walked very fast and even went to the top of a small hill to take pictures of the snow-capped mountains.

Scenery at Nanzheng Pass and nearby areas
Visitors at the No. 3 supply station sat in a circle and waited for the butter tea cooked by the boss. According to many tourists, the owner of this supply station was very nice
Looking down at Yubengshang Village from a high place, it really feels like a paradise
Yubengxia Village
It was a downhill route starting from the Nanzheng Pass, so I immediately put on light hiking shoes. For this hike, my suggestion is to bring two pairs of shoes, one pair of professional hiking shoes and one pair of light hiking shoes. No matter how good the hiking shoes are, they all have one shortcoming in common: they are hard. If you walk for a long time, your feet will hurt. When going down the mountain, your toes will feel swollen and painful. Wearing lightweight hiking shoes can relieve pressure on your feet when you're walking on flat trails and downhill routes that aren't too steep. Yuanyuan told me that the walk from Nanzheng Pass to Yubeng was very hard and her feet hurt. I am also responsible for this. Because when we were in Shuhe Ancient Town, she asked me if I wanted to bring another pair of shoes. I was afraid that it would be troublesome for her, so I said that I could bring them or not. In the end, she didn't take it with her and asked the innkeeper to send it back to Guangzhou together with her suitcase.
Even though I was exhausted, and in such a state, I definitely had no intention of enjoying the scenery. But I still think Yubeng is beautiful, and the conflict with local Tibetans at noon did not affect my mood. Yaks, mules, donkeys and horses can be seen everywhere in Yubengshang Village. They live in harmony with people, tourists and all the animals here, and they know how to give way when they see people. There is a bell hanging under the neck of the mules and horses, which jingles as they walk. In addition, you can also see many dogs and cats. It is said that the inn where we stay tonight has the most cats.
Yuanyuan arrived at the inn at around 15:00 in the afternoon. She had already taken a shower and washed her clothes. I arrived before 17:00, and she told me that the boss said that if you want to take a shower, do it quickly. If there are more people later, the amount of hot water will be less.
The cat in the inn

From the accent, I knew the boss was from Sichuan. As long as you are from Sichuan, here in China, the food cooked by Sichuan people is always good, especially for people like me who love spicy food. After a hard day, it’s time to have a good meal in the evening. This inn does have a lot of cats, but I didn’t count how many there were. Just under one of the dining tables, there were several black kittens surrounding them. They were walking unsteadily. They looked to be about one month old. On another chair sat a calico cat. When I walked out of the room, I saw another white cat. This one looked the cutest. I wanted to get close to it and hug it. It looked at me softly with its eyes and meowed, as if it could read my thoughts, but it was unwilling to let me hold it. When I got close, it Jumped away.
Several team members live in Yubengxia Village, which is more than half an hour's walk away from us. I say that those of you who live in Xia Village should not come up again and eat down there by yourself. But after a while, they called me and told me to come over here and have dinner with us. We were divided into two tables. Yuanyuan, Zhantai and Dongdong and I sat at the same table. While they were eating, they discussed another plan for the next day that was not included in our trip - the Cordyceps line.
I originally disagreed, but I saw that they were more eager to take this route, so I agreed to their request. The reason I didn't agree with it at first was that I was afraid something would happen to them. But Shilin told them that they would ask a local guide to lead the way. There would be absolutely no problem with safety, and there would also be a track. I thought to myself, since there are local guides, let them go.
Shi Lin and Yu Ting came to our room and discussed with me again. The platform told them to write a disclaimer and that they would be responsible for anything that happened in the end. I don’t know whether it was because of exhaustion or altitude sickness. There were several times when I spoke in a very aggressive tone on the platform, as if I had been fed gunpowder, and also like a hedgehog. Just when we were discussing our plans for tomorrow's trip, he and Shilin almost got into a fight again. In the end, Shilin chose to give in.
I think that even with this disclaimer, if something happens to them during tomorrow's event, I will still be primarily responsible. The court is not going to dismiss me because they wrote this statement. In addition, Shilin has also been an outdoor person for a long time and is somewhat famous in Guangzhou’s outdoor circles. It was indeed a bit embarrassing for him to post this statement in the group. At 21:38 at night, I sent a WeChat message to tell Shilin that there is no need to write a disclaimer. You can just pay attention to safety tomorrow.
We lived in a four-bed room with two one-meter-wide bunk beds. Yuanyuan, Zhan Tai, and Yigengen and I shared this room. Outside the window is a stable, and from time to time you can hear the bells of mules and horses shaking their necks, making it difficult to sleep. But louder than the bells of the mules and horses were the platforms and the thunderous snores. The bells of the mules and horses could still be heard just now, but when they both snored loudly in the sky at the same time, the bells suddenly stopped. I thought that the mules and horses must have been so shocked by their snoring that they did not dare to move. What's even more terrifying is that one of them also uttered a ghost-like dream, which even scared Yuanyuan.

I felt in my heart that today's trip was almost spent in noisy situations. Lixia complained in the morning, had a conflict with the supply station owner at noon, and almost got into a fight with Shilin at the station at night. Even now that I'm sleeping, I thought When I could get a moment of peace, there were the bells of mules and horses outside the window and the deafening snoring in the room. I don't know whether Zhan Tai was awakened by his own snoring or by his snoring. I heard him moving on the bed, and his snoring stopped. There was a sound of tiptoeing upstairs above us. However, since this inn is built of wood, the sound insulation effect is very poor. No matter how careful you are, it will easily wake people up in the dead of night. I thought this was normal. If I couldn't bear it anymore, I could go up and remind him gently. I didn't expect that the platform seemed to be eating bombs instead of food tonight. His whole body exploded, and he banged on the roof with his trekking pole and said: Are you going to let people sleep upstairs? What time is it, and I’m still walking around.

The anger on the platform caused the residents upstairs to stop moving for an instant. However, I think the platform is too much. This matter can be properly communicated to people, and there is no need to get angry all of a sudden. Moreover, if he bangs on the floor and roars loudly, he will definitely wake up the entire inn.

I would like to advise the platform that no matter what happens next, we can communicate with others well without losing our temper all the time. But I thought that he was 11 years older than me, and I was embarrassed to say this.

I sighed in my heart again, today is the noisiest day I have traveled so many times...
