Before I went to Enhe, I didn’t know that there was such a place in China. There are many Russians living here. They have Russian faces, but they speak pure Northeastern dialect. Yes, that kind of " It is well-known outside the country for its taste of big dirt.
This is Enhe Russian Ethnic Township, located in Ergun City under the jurisdiction of Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia. It is bounded by the Ergun River and RussiaAcross the river, the total population is 2,339 people (2017), with 30% Russians. In addition, some ethnic Russians are distributed in Xinjiang, Heilongjiang, Beijing and other places in my country, with a total population of less than 16,000.
Most of them are descendants of Russian immigrants. After a hundred years of ups and downs, their appearance and living habits are completely different from the Russians living in Russia, and they have gradually formed their own national characteristics.
We stayed in a hotel run by Russians for two days in Enhe. The proprietress is a descendant of Russian immigrants. Her grandmother lives in Gadaya on the other side of the Ergun River. Her grandfather is Han from Shandong. people. When there was a famine in Shandong, his grandfather came to the Ergun River to pan for gold with the mighty army from Guandong, and met her grandmother. The two soon fell in love and got married. Then war broke out in Russia, and her grandparents took her uncle, father, and aunt across the Ergun River to Jiukatun (the border area of Inner Mongolia), where they lived for several years. When Japan invaded China, it cleared the border and did not allow Chinese people to live on the border. Forced to survive, they moved their family to Enhe, which is now Enhe Russian Ethnic Township. Their family was one of the seven families that founded Enhe, and subsequent generations lived here and witnessed the changes and development of this border town.
At night, the town is also very lively. Tourists coming from all over the place gather on the busiest street in Enhe at night. On one side of the street are various gourmet restaurants, and on the other side are selling various local specialties. It is so lively. .
When you come to Enhe, you must try the freshly baked Dalieba and yogurt . The yogurt is divided into original flavor and blueberry flavor. Wild blueberries are abundant here, so you must also try the blueberry flavored yogurt. The sweetness of blueberries can neutralize the sourness of yogurt, and the taste is very delicious.
The small village of Enhe is surrounded by mountains and forests, and the air is pleasant. After dinner in the evening, I walked to the stone road on the side of the town before the sun went down. I could see the setting sun slowly sinking to the other side of the mountain. The river under my feet also changed color in the sunset. The town was gradually shrouded in darkness, and my heart became completely quiet.
If time permits, you can stay there for a few more days. You will find that time seems to be extended and the days become particularly slow. Your three meals will be very regular. After eating, you will go for a walk or go to the Go to the yogurt shop across the street and have a cup of yogurt. You will fall asleep early and wake up early. You will feel like you are having a great day living somewhere else.
