When you mention Guizhou, what do you think of is Xiao Xiang, the Internet celebrity named "Guizhou Peng Yuyan"? Or the Maotai liquor that your father can taste like a treasure and waiting for the girl to get married? Or the "weird tasting" Zheergen.

The sky is not clear for three days, and the ground is not level for three miles. This is how you can travel across the land of China and enjoy the intoxicating beauty of Guizhou.

All I can think of is the karst landforms that were covered in my lesson preparation some time ago.

People who know me have heard that I went to Nanjing for an interview, and the results were pretty good; those who don’t know have not heard that I didn’t open the courseware during the actual interview class, and gave a geography class with blackboard writing and drawings mixed in. The subject we drew at that time was river landforms - which talked about source erosion. I asked the students, have they ever seen waterfalls? The student said no. I demonstrated it to the students using organizing bins and rags.

There were a total of 13 lessons prepared at that time. It was my luck and my own hard work to win one. I will talk about this later. But after I finished preparing for the karst landform class, I decided to come to Guizhou to see it.

The introduction involves China's "Sky Eye". In just one month, China's Sky Eye has become the only one in the world; the above-ground karst landforms involve peak clusters, peak forests, solitary peaks and underground karst stalagmites, stone pillars and stalactites. The classroom multimedia content quotes relevant content from "Aerial Photography of China - Guizhou".

The first stop in Guizhou, on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, is our childhood memory - Huangguoshu Waterfall. The memory is in our primary school textbooks, in "Journey to the West", and printed on colorful cigarette boxes.

"Huangguoshu Waterfall"

Huangguoshu Waterfall is really a masterpiece of nature!

As soon as I entered Huangguoshu Scenic Area, I heard the sound of "hustle" coming from a distance, like a breeze blowing through the treetops, getting closer and louder, and finally came over like a tide, drowning out the noise of people and horses. There is only the noisy sound of water between heaven and earth.

Through the gap between the trees, you can see a waterfall hanging on the rock wall, which is folded into three folds, like a wide white cloth flowing down from a loom. The "swishing" sound of water became the ensemble of thousands of looms.

The water spray aroused by the waterfall rises into the sky like rain and mist, flies in the wind, floats all over the sky, up to hundreds of meters high, and falls in the small town of Huangguoshu on the right side of the waterfall, forming the famous "Silver Rain and Golden Street" Wonderful sight.

Huangguoshu Waterfall falls in a valley surrounded by mountains. We walked down the stone steps from the west until we reached the bottom of the valley. Sitting on a rock by the water, very close to the waterfall, with only a small green pool in between, it seemed that you could reach out and pull it over to wash your face. The water droplets from the waterfall pouring into the valley bottom splashed directly onto our faces, which was cool and very comfortable.

Although Huangguoshu Waterfall is not as long as Lushan Waterfall, it is much wider than it, so it appears extraordinary and majestic. The waterfall cascades down from the rock wall, like the roar of thunder, echoing from the mountains to the valley. Sitting below, it feels like you are in a circular orchestra pit. Music is playing all around, and people feel like they are floating in a wave of sound, and every cell is full of vitality.

We sat for a long time, letting the cool flying beads hit our hot faces and wet our thin clothes. Listening to the roaring sound of the waterfall, I just feel my chest expanding, like an open valley, letting the waterfall fly down, bringing in the infinite vitality of nature.

Leave the pond and follow the stone path to a platform next to the stream. Among the green trees, there is a statue of Xu Xiake. He was facing the waterfall from a distance, as if he was listening to the sound of the waterfall in the distance. He was completely intoxicated. At this moment, we are completely intoxicated.

When we are truly immersed in the scene, the purity of nature allows us young people who are used to hearing the sounds of construction sites and the roar of engines to find a sense of returning to nature.

Xu Xiake is holding a book in his hand, leaning lightly on his bamboo stick, looking into the distance.

After crossing the bridge to the north, we followed the stream to the west for half a mile. Suddenly the Longqing was blocked, and we heard a sound like thunder again, and another strange scene arrived.

Looking south through the long gap, there is a hanging stream on the left side of the road. Wan Lian is flying in the air. The rocks on the stream are like lotus leaves covering the bottom, and three doors are gouged out in the middle. The water flows over the top of the leaves, like ten thousand pieces of shark gauze, covering the outside of the door, straight down. It can't be counted by several feet. When the beads are smashed and jade is smashed, the droplets surge back up like smoke rising into the sky. The force is so majestic that the so-called "bead curtain hooks are not rolled up, and horses are hung on distant peaks" are not enough to describe its majesty.

Gai Yu has seen waterfalls that are several times taller, but never one as wide and big as this. However, looking down from above, it is unavoidable to be frightened.

From a distance, you can feel the moist atmosphere of the jungle in the air.

And you can vaguely hear the faint but strong sound of water in the distance, pouring day and night - the sound is like thunder again, and the strange scenery is coming.

Standing under the waterfall and looking up, it seems like a stormy wave is flying down from a height of 77 meters - Wan Lian Feikong.

I have to say that only when you stand at the foot of the waterfall do you know what the roar is like and how powerful it is. The water droplets swooped down, hit the rocks, stirred at the bottom of the lake, and flew in the air, like big hands touching the faces of tourists.

The waterfall is the representative work of the Huangguo tree. The yellow fruits on the tree are famous at home and abroad. But the beauty does not stop there. Tianxing Bridge is a place without a bridge. In the 1986 version of "Journey to the West", Gao Laozhuang where Zhu Bajie carried his wife, Liusha River where Monk Sha took refuge, and a few kilometers of walking on the plank road where leisure and elegance coexist. The small waterfall is like a silver pendant necklace, and the mountains are full of green, with dots of red echoing each other. The mountains do not turn, the water turns, and the water turns to misty clouds. As Doupo Pond comes into view, the film and television memory of Tang Monk and his disciples crossing the river comes into mind - I dare to ask where the way is!

"Xu Xiake's Travels" wrote this sentence: "I am an old commoner, I have two crotches, and I am poor in the river sand. I went up to Kunlun, traveled through the Western Regions, named Jueguo, and became four with three people. I will not hate it until my death." "

After a busy day, do you also ask yourself that question in the dead of night that has not had a fixed answer for thousands of years - what is the meaning of life?

"Those Things in the Ming Dynasty" commented on Xu Xiake - there is only one success, live life in your own way!

Yes, I appreciate this kind of life and hope to live it like this!
