Today’s destination is Gongbujiangda County, a total distance of 47 kilometers.
Recently, everyone seems to have formed a tacit understanding. For long-distance journeys, those who are traveling alone will go first. Those traveling by train like me can start later, so today I am embarking on the journey alone.
Today's journey is so dull and lonely.
A few days after walking out of Linzhi City, the scenery along the way was no longer shocking. It cannot be said to be unchanged, but it can also be regarded as the same.
When I was walking with my teammates a few days ago, everyone didn't talk much. It seemed that everything they could say had been said. Most of the time, everyone just walked in silence. In recent days, including today, I haven’t encountered other hikers on the road.
Elements such as scenery, teammates, and passers-by that can bring freshness and excitement to me from the outside suddenly disappeared, so I really don’t know what to write today.
I read through the articles I had written before, and after recalling the scenery I had seen and the things I had experienced along the way, I found that this journey was really like life.
I experienced the worries and longings before departure, the excitement and persistence when walking on the road, and saw the scenery I had seen and never seen before.
I met completely different people, some with deep connections, some with shallow connections; I heard many stories, some felt the same way, and some felt distant.
I felt different cultures, which were in areas unknown to me, which were full of attraction for me.
I also realized a lot of truths. Although they are all clichés, there is a completely different experience between realizing them myself and being indoctrinated by other people's dogma.
But eventually, the journey will end and everything will fall into place. What I will face is still myself, still real life.
Thanks to the purity, peace and loneliness that this journey that is about to end has brought me, and has slowly brought me back to reality from the dream-like journey of these two months.
