In the south of Pan'an County, there is a small mountain village far away from human traces, which hides the most beautiful poetry of late autumn. This is Baiyun Mountain Village in Anwen Town. Baiyunshan Village is named after the mountain, which was called Yingshan in ancient times. During the Southern Song Dynasty (about 1183 AD), Ge Boyun, the tenth generation grandson of the Ge family in Dongyang, moved here from Nianlipai. In ancient times, Baiyun Mountain was known as the Purple Bird's Nest Land. It was located halfway up the mountain, with Lion Mountain in the east and Baixiang Mountain in the west guarding it. The trees on the mountain are lush and lush, and when a strong wind comes, it has the momentum of "the wind shakes the pines and the waves shake the valley." The houses in the village rise up from the mountains and are built in a staircase shape, giving them a natural poetic feel from a distance. As early as 800 years ago, the ancestors of Baiyunshan Village began to plant ginkgo trees. There are still many centuries-old trees surviving in the village, witnessing the changes of the village. Baiyunshan Village currently has more than 300 acres of ginkgo forest, forming a famous landscape in late autumn.

On November 7, 2020, the day of Beginning of Winter, more than ten of us came here. There are many memories of this day. We started from Baiyun Mountain Village, followed the tall thatch bushes, climbed to the top of Baiyun Mountain Temple, passed by Baiyun Temple and Yunshan Resort Hotel under construction, and met Piao and Shuiying 30 An old classmate from years ago. Afterwards, we detoured from Gaoyuan Old Temple to Shibei Village and Shitou Village, started at the Baiyun Mountain Ginkgo Forest Observation Deck, followed the Ginkgo Garden to enjoy the autumn, and finally looped back to Baiyun Mountain Village.

The entire Baiyun Mountain Ring is nearly nine kilometers long. According to Piao's words, it is "the beginning of winter, watching the whole autumn." We were in the ginkgo garden, and it seemed like yellow elves were dancing around us, stepping on the fallen leaves on the ground, walking through late autumn and heading towards winter.
