Pictured: Kensington Park in 2014
In addition to ancient castles, London also has large urban green lungs that make its citizens proud. There are several parks in the city center that cover vast areas, are beautiful and have unique characteristics. There are clear lakes, flying birds and swans in the park, and a children's paradise. People can not only boat on the lake, feed the squirrels on the lawn, and drink coffee in the coffee shop, but they can also stroll among the flowers and take photos for a leisurely outing.
I have been to four parks in London. Their gardening layout and color matching of flowers and plants are very thoughtful and refreshing.

Regent's Park is full of flowers, and St. James's Park, the colorful flowers look like elves jumping in the grass.
The first time I took my children to Kensington Gardens, I fell in love with it. I will return to the place every time I go to London, and every time it will bring surprises.
It was late summer and early autumn in 2014. The weather in Kensington Park was pleasant and children were running happily on the green and yellow lawn. When I went back in the spring of 2016, I was filled with greenery and flourishing scenery. I also had lunch at The Orangery. I walked around randomly in 2018 and saw a bronze statue of Peter Pan that I had never seen before.
We love a place not only because it is lovely, but also because we have feelings for it.
Picture: The lush grass is very soft. I just wanted to say that I had the urge to lie down, but the children fell directly to the ground.
In 1904, Scottish novelist James Barrie (James Barrie OM) came to Kensington Park one day and played a pirate game with a group of children playing by the water, which inspired him to write "Peter Pan". . In May 1912, James Barry donated a bronze statue of Peter Pan to Kensington Park to commemorate this occasion. Since then, the figure of Peter Pan playing the flute and the happy elves and animals have reappeared in Kensington Park.
The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Playground in a corner of Kensington Gardens is only accessible to children and adults with children.
I finally understand why everyone loves her so much. Because she loved children, the government built this playground. Although she has passed away, the love and joy she left behind will still be with us. When we think of her Still feel warm.
A person's beauty will eventually fade, but his virtue can last forever. Selfish love means that those who love him will panic because of his death. But true love means that he or she will try his best to arrange everything so that those who love him or her will not be harmed after his or her death.
Parks I like:
Kensington gardens
This used to be the Queen's private green space. Now many Londoners come here to walk their dogs, take care of their children and run.
The residents at the lake noticed that the children wanted to feed the birds, and enthusiastically gave half of the bird food they brought to the three siblings.
Kensington Palace has the most swans of any London park.

It’s fun no matter what in a natural environment.
In addition to feeding the birds, here is the children's favorite, the Mercedes Benz and the carousel in Kensington Park.
Kensington Park in full spring.
The sunshine in London in August is mild and the weather is neither cold nor hot. It is very enjoyable to walk around the garden, count the wild ducks and swans, and have breakfast by the lake.
Kensington Palace
On the west side of Kensington Gardens is the famous Kensington Palace, which has been the residence of the British royal family since the 17th century. Prince William, Princess Kate and several other members of the royal family currently live here. Due to the royal family living there, only a small part of Kensington Palace is open to the public.
The room dedicated to Queen Victoria is the most interesting, cleverly laid out with each section leading to a central area. There is also a small drama performance in the palace, which combines movement and stillness, and is not boring at all.
It was so nice to walk through Kensington Palace, see Diana’s gowns, stroll through the gardens, and have tea at Diana’s favorite restaurant, The Orangery.
Address: Kensington Gardens, London England
Kensington Palace is also the former residence of Princess Diana. Because Diana loved children, the palace is full of human touch. There are staff who organize children to play games and coloring. There is also a small toy corner in the exhibition hall and a small theater to recreate the scene at that time.
Picture: There are many things in it that arouse children's interest.
Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Playground
(Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Playground)
After leaving Windsor Castle in 2014, Lao Wang's next trip was supposed to be to Diana's former residence in Kensington Palace, but we were seriously delayed and it was too late to go. He was so frustrated that he wanted to go back to the hotel to rest. I suggested that we go to the small park we discovered while playing the carousel that day. The children were so happy that they felt like the fruits of their hard work with us over the past few days. This is why I am popular at home. He hurriedly walked slowly along the way, thinking that he had to read this and that, and was afraid that the children would be less knowledgeable and could not miss any of them. As a result, everyone was exhausted to death. In fact, it doesn’t matter if there is one more or one less.
Later we discovered that this small park turned out to be the Princess Diana Memorial Playground of Wales, located in Kensington Park next to Kensington Palace, Princess Diana's official residence.
The playground was opened in 2000 in memory of Princess Diana, replacing an earlier playground funded by JM Barrie (author of Peter Pan). This popular playground next to The Broad Walk is based on the Peter Pan story and features a giant wooden pirate ship, a musical garden beach, bay and a camp with Indian tents.

Hyde Park
Because Kensington Gardens is located at the western end of Hyde Park and is connected to it, the public often thinks of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park as one.
With green lawns, towering trees, quiet lakes, and cruising waterfowl, Hyde Park is a great place for picnics and leisure. In addition, it is also a place where people hold various political rallies and other mass activities, including the famous “Speakers’ Corner”. Every year during Christmas, the large-scale winter carnival Winter Wonderland is held here.
Kensington Gardens was set aside from Hyde Park in the early 18th century and became the royal garden of Kensington Palace. Therefore, the planning of Kensington Gardens is more elaborate than that of Hyde Park. Compared with neighboring Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens is less noisy and more quiet and peaceful. After going to Kensington Gardens in the summer of 2014, I went to Hyde Garden again. I found it rough and noisy, and even the lawns were sparse.
But in fact, Hyde Park is very beautiful in spring. After visiting Kensington Park in 2016, I went to Hyde Park across the river. The cherry blossoms in the park were in full bloom, and the flowers were so beautiful that it took my breath away.
There are many swans, wild ducks, and seagulls in Hyde Park. It is not easy to have such a large area in the city center and maintain such an original ecology.

Regent’s Park
Regent's Park (also known as Regent Park) near the Langham Hotel is the second largest park in London after Hyde Park. It is a large 19th-century style garden located in the city center and adjacent to the Regent Canal.
Although it is not as famous as Hyde Park, it has the largest rose garden in London. It is also an excellent cherry blossom viewing spot in April every year.
There are also several gardens within gardens, such as the famous rose garden - Queen Mary's Garden. The river scenery and rose garden are all unforgettable. The park is also home to London's only professional open-air theatre, with weekly performances from May to September.
It was May when I went there in 2016, and the tulips and cherry blossoms were in bloom, especially gorgeous under the bright blue sky. You have time to spend, cherish the present, live in the present, and don't let this beautiful time live up to you.
Next door to Regent's Park is the famous London Zoo. It's fun to go in and see the monkeys and feed the goats.

St. James’s Park
St. James's Park is adjacent to Buckingham Palace and is the back garden of Buckingham Palace. If you are lucky, you can also see the Queen's changing of the guard. This very old park was originally the deer park of King Henry VIII of England. Re-landscaped by French landscape architects in the 17th century, and further beautified by British architects, the park has now become the best place for people to relax in the center of London, with people sunbathing, walking and picnicking everywhere.
The long pool in the center of the park gathers wild ducks of various colors and sizes, so St. James Park is also known as the "Duck Park". From the bridge, you can have a beautiful view of Buckingham Palace across the lake. Especially at night, the night view of Buckingham Palace with lights is even more charming.
A delicate river runs through the park. The big trees and green grass along the road, coupled with the scene of flowers blooming and birds singing and the flowers fragrant, are like a natural oil painting. As long as the weather is clear, it will be beautiful no matter how you take it.

Kensington gardens
Looking at the map, you can see that Kensington Park on the left and Hyde Park on the right are roughly divided by the long water in the middle.
In 2014, starting from the Queensgate Fraser Plaza Hotel, it was a ten-minute walk to Kensington Park, where Princess Diana’s former residence was located. In these ten minutes, there was scenery everywhere.
It rained a little, and my brother seemed to have turned into a big mushroom. I took a wrong turn for a short distance and passed a beautiful little bar.
The Albert Memorial Tower is located on the south side of Kensington Park. It was established to commemorate the death of Prince Albert and was completed in 1872. Influenced by the 13th-century Crusaders and other Edinburgh and Manchester styles, the Albert Memorial Tower is a majestic Victorian Gothic structure with a golden yellow color and a golden statue of Prince Albert inside.
