January 16, 2022 | Cloudy to rain | Sanqingshan Hilton Hotel | 488 kilometers

Sanqingshan?

Yes, Sanqingshan!

I have this doubt because in the preface, I did not mention the three words Sanqing Mountain. On my first day, I should have gone to Huangshan Mountain, but why did I go to Sanqing Mountain instead?

Yes, actually I didn’t think of it myself.

On the afternoon of the 15th, I called the Xihai Hotel in Huangshan. The other party said that in addition to providing a 48-hour nucleic acid report, tourists from the Shanghai area also need to take another nucleic acid test in Huangshan.

I'm dizzy! This is completely arbitrary and completely distrustful!

Moreover, the nucleic acid test must be done in Huangshan City, which is too far from the north gate of Huangshan Mountain. It would make me take a detour and waste time!

Just like that, I decisively gave up Huangshan and looked for Sanqingshan, which is about the same distance from Huangshan. After all, as long as there is a 48-hour nucleic acid report from any area, I can stay.

Therefore, I set my foothold on the first day at the foot of Sanqing Mountain.

It only takes 6 and a half hours by highway from Shanghai to Sanqing Mountain. I plan to take the cableway to Sanqing Mountain after arriving.

At 7 o'clock in the morning on February 16, I woke Leo up from bed. This kid changed from his usual way of getting up in a hurry and got up in no time.

The king also got up early and prepared a simple breakfast for us.

At 7:30, we said goodbye to the king and officially embarked on the trip.

I had seen the weather forecast before, saying it would rain heavily in Sanqing Mountain, but I still held on to some hope. After all, it is common for weather forecasts to be inaccurate.

When you go out, the weather is your luck. If the weather is bad, there is nothing you can do about it. You still have to bite the bullet and move forward.

However, the weather in Shanghai is pretty good now. Although it is not a sunny day, I can still see the lovely blue in the sky, which undoubtedly gives me some hope.

The journey went quite smoothly. Except for a short traffic jam near Jiande City, Hangzhou, the expressway was still very smooth. Compared with my trip from Shanghai to Wuhan during the National Day last year, it was not very enjoyable.

At 12:30, we each ate a rice dumpling at the service area of Hangchang Expressway and continued on our way; at 1:30 pm, we arrived at the Kaihua South Exit and ended our expressway journey.

However, at this time, it finally started to rain.

This weather forecast seems to be accurate for me.

I was a little discouraged at this point, but I had no choice but to move forward. I had already seen this scene during my "Border Patrol for the Country" trip in July. At that time, I came to the Taihang Mountains and planned to go north along the Taihang Mountains. Unexpectedly, heavy rain continued throughout the Taihang Mountains. The rain stopped until I reached the Wutai Mountains. But had I not completed my journey in the same way?

They come, the security.

I comforted myself and continued walking towards Sanqing Mountain.

The small traffic jam near Jiande only lasted for more than ten minutes, which was not bad.

The expressway exit is more than 50 kilometers away from the foot of Sanqing Mountain, a journey of more than an hour. It was originally uneventful, but I never thought that an episode would happen on the way.

At 2:11 pm, I came to a village. There were several rubber roadblocks placed on the road at the entrance of the village, leaving only the left half for passage.

I have seen this kind of scene many times. Either the road on the right is in danger or the road is under construction. In short, half of it is closed.

When I was about to cross from the left, a man walked out of the small tent next to me. He held an umbrella and covered his face, but he kept letting me wave and motioned for me to go down the road.

I looked and saw a dirt road on the left side of the road leading to the river.

I guessed that the entire road ahead was broken and was being repaired, and it needed to be bypassed by the river below.

Without saying anything, I turned into the side road.

The fork in the road is a newly paved road of dirt and gravel. There are puddles on the road and it is very muddy. The road goes all the way across the river to the other side of the river.

I couldn't help but feel excited. Unexpectedly, there was a wading path for us to play.

Leo also became happy. You know, this kid also asked me to find a bad way for him all day long.

I slowly descended into the river, then stepped on the accelerator, crossed the small river, and rushed to the simple road made of dirt on the opposite side.

But as soon as I walked up, I found that there was no way.

Several migrant workers working nearby looked at me in confusion.

I quickly rolled down the window and asked them if there was a detour from here to Sanqing Mountain.

A migrant worker smiled and shook his head at me, saying that this is a construction site and you have to take the highway.

After saying that, he pointed to the road behind me.

I'm dizzy, didn't I come from there?

Isn't the road closed there?

Seeing the confusion in the migrant workers' eyes that seemed to be mixed with a bit of ridicule, I quickly reversed the car and fled in panic.

Fortunately, I was very skilled and managed to cross the river and mud pit in one go and retreat.

The guy who held the umbrella earlier and told me to take a detour finally showed his face. He's a fat boy.

The young man asked me to drive over. After I drove over, I rolled down the window and asked him what was going on.

The young man said, I waved you to stop the car and register for a nucleic acid test. Why did you drive down there?

I'm dizzy!

So that's it.

But your gesture... is really...

Forget it, I was too lazy to say anything, so I quickly parked the car aside and went to register.

The young man looked at our itinerary and saw that we were from Shanghai, so he immediately asked us to take nucleic acid tests.

I said we had done it and quickly showed him the nucleic acid report, and he stopped taking the swab.

So according to his request, we registered the information, took a photo of our nucleic acid report, and then left smoothly.

The aunt who did the information registration asked us where we were going, and I said Sanqingshan.

The aunt said that she came from Sanqing Mountain. It was raining on the mountain today and she couldn't see anything.

Well, I expected that too.

I thanked my aunt, then said goodbye to them, and continued walking to the hotel at the foot of Sanqing Mountain.

At 3:30 pm, I arrived at the hotel. After confirming with the hotel front desk that there was no need to go up the mountain, we had to go back to the room to rest.

Just like that, we ended the first day of the trip.

This is not smooth, but no matter what, it has to be like this. The only thing that can comfort us is probably a sumptuous dinner.

From the balcony of the room, you can see the outline of Sanqing Mountain. In this state, going up the mountain is just to admire the thick fog.

Video: Before arriving at Sanqing Mountain, I unexpectedly encountered a little incident. The facts once again proved that I am a reckless and stupid person.

This is the trajectory of the first day (blue) VS the first version of the route (the red line goes to Huangshan) VS the second version of the route (the green line goes to Sanqing Mountain, covered by the trajectory)
