The overall feeling is that it is not as mysterious as the publicity. The publicity places too much emphasis on the Mosuo people, daughter country, matriarchal clan, and walking marriage, which makes people full of curiosity and imagination. Once you go there, just accept the reality. It is a big lake on the plateau, with blue sky and white clouds. The lake is surrounded by ethnic minority villages that are waiting to be developed. If you have experienced lakes, you will be a little disappointed, but this place is awesome, a plateau lake! Between the mountains, mountains and rivers depend on each other.

I read a review that is simple and direct: the facilities and services are very perfunctory. In this way, your expectations are not too high and you will feel satisfied, haha.

Yamaguchi began to charge tickets, 35 yuan per person, and now there are about 3,000-4,000 people a day. During the epidemic, it was first closed, and then opened to 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000. In the peak season, there are more than 10,000 people a day, and the peak is 50,000 people a day.

The ticket fee is so expensive~

The villages are actually similar to small towns in our rural areas. The Mosuo people have lived here for generations because of the booming tourism industry and the strong impact of modern civilization.

The streets and alleys are full of hotels and restaurants, which are even more deserted during the off-season. The cars coming and going are filled with tourists who want to rent a car or drive around the lake. If there are fewer tourists, I am worried about how the hotels and restaurants everywhere will survive.

Brother Bi took advantage of the off-season and booked a lake-view room on Hubin Road. The price is no longer very friendly. In the peak season, the price is more than three times this price. In terms of the importance of off-season travel! The room layout is beautiful and the location is excellent. Lugu Lake is right outside the door.

But it was not as comfortable as the 240 yuan room in Lijiang. Maybe it was due to the season. The room was cold and the water was cold. It was freezing everywhere. There was no air conditioning and the heater was broken. I turned on the electric blanket on the first night because I was afraid of catching a cold. Sleeping 😰 The socket settings are old, the bathroom shelf is too high and it is not convenient. Customer service is called to adjust the TV channel. There are three young men at the front desk. The selling point of the hotel is that professional photographers can take free sky mirror shots and free clothing. Free desserts, so at first glance, our hotel has the best business.

By the way, I want to complain about Sky Mirror, a free professional photographer. I can only describe the photos taken by them in four words: "Tough-backed and strong-backed!" After taking more than a dozen photos, I picked out one that was acceptable, and the rest that I couldn’t bear to look at. I also want to say thank you very politely. Others say no thank you, just go and give me a five-star review. Awkward or not!

The photos of the hunky-backed and bearded people are not uploaded, as they are unsightly. Anyway, reminds me that it’s time to lose weight!

After a short rest, we went to take a boat trip around the island. It cost 80 yuan per person. We went to the nearest island. There are also expensive ones for 180 yuan and cheap ones for 50 yuan. It's fun to watch seagulls on a boat, but don't do it for too long, or you'll get seasick. This time I made a mistake and chose the bow of the boat. The tour guide and local paddler worked at the stern. I listened to his introduction intermittently. These seagulls flew over from Siberia. They flew away in March not long after they arrived. There is nothing in summer... We brought bread to feed the seagulls. The seagulls are very smart and flew around each of our boats. This section is indeed beautiful.

The tour guide said that there are also wild ducks in winter. They used to like to hunt wild ducks for food. The meat of wild ducks is delicious. Later, the government stipulated that wild ducks must be protected. Anyone found once would be fined 5,000 yuan and detained for 15 days. From then on, no one dared to hunt wild ducks. . The people in the government who came up with this idea are so talented and mighty, haha.

The boats are manually rowed because they are afraid that electric ones will pollute the lake. With the exception of Daluoshui and Lige, all nearby hotels within 80 meters of the lake in villages will be demolished and rebuilt. It is also to protect the lake. All domestic water in the hotel must be treated before being discharged, and cannot be discharged directly into the lake.

When we went up to the island, there was a temple on the top of the mountain. As soon as I saw the stone stairs, my legs went weak.

In the evening, I went to eat the steamed stone pot fish that is sold in the streets and alleys. The fish was mandarin fish and it was quite delicious. Dianping rated the set meal for 2 people at 116. Just next door to the hotel. The owner and his wife run it.

A Mosuo cake should be fried in cornmeal. I have been particularly addicted to this corn cake these days. In my heart, the portion can surpass meat, haha

I don’t really understand why the streets are full of steamed stone pot fish, steamed stone pot chicken, and wood-fired turkey. Ordinarily, these locals would not eat like this in their daily meals... It is said that all the people who open shops and do business here are outsiders 🤩But why do people generally choose this category?

After dinner, I insisted on going to see the Mosuo bonfire party. I thought it had been a day and I still hadn’t seen the ethnic elements... 30 yuan per person, you can directly scan the QR code on WeChat to transfer the admission. The income is also considerable. Brother Bi visually estimated that there were 500 people that night. The Daluoshui bonfire party was the largest, and there were many others. The loud speaker music from the village karaoke in the 1990s was playing at the door, which was a bit noisy. The crowds flocked to the bonfire party performance venue. Basically, everyone who came to Lugu Lake came to check in.

I was quite disappointed with the performance. I joked that I spent 30 yuan to watch the girls and boys in their village dance in the square. The girls all made faces, and the dance was very difficult, and they looked like they were reluctant to complete the task, without any enthusiasm at all. I seriously doubt that the boss has delayed wages... or the money has been insufficient.

The last part of the group fusion jumps in, and it is even more like why are you so annoying... The overall feeling is two words: perfunctory. You just gave me 30 yuan, what do you think?

Okay, the card has been cleared and the leeks have been cut. Let’s go back to sleep.

The next day, we rented a car and drove around the lake for 70 kilometers. It cost us 200 yuan to take a driver with us. In order to capture a special and isolated feeling, I went back to a certain point and paid the driver an additional 20 yuan. I am sensitive to numbers, so I use a small notebook to remember everything, haha

For the sake of the photo being selected as the WeChat avatar, I gave up worrying about it.

Along the road around the lake, there are hotels within 80 meters that are required to be demolished, set back, and rebuilt. There are large-scale construction projects everywhere. I have no impression of the few Internet celebrity check-in points, and I haven’t recovered from my high-reverse reaction, and I don’t have much status either.

Let me show you the place where boat tickets are collected on the roadside. Just set up a table at the end of the village and you can start business. Haha, I really want to set up a table too.

Instead, I am very interested in points like cross-provincial borders. The Lugu Lake area belongs to Yunnan Province and Sichuan Province respectively. The provincial boundary is here, and this side is Yunnan. After this small palm-sized bridge is Sichuan, I announced that I am returning to Sichuan, haha! Isn't it interesting that the two sides are both unified and divided? Resident villagers and tourists can move around freely, but the administrative divisions of the villagers are Yunnan and Sichuan respectively. The customs and customs of the two sides are slightly different due to different administrative management.

I bought it from a stall selling pepper near Caohai. I thought it was very fragrant and I was willing to pay the IQ tax! Ha ha

Next section, the famous walking wedding bridge! When I curiously mentioned walking marriage yesterday, the rowing master had a helpless smile on his face. The implication was that we may have some misunderstandings about walking marriage. They actually got into walking marriage based on their emotional foundation. It is not the mess you think. 😅

You must take a picture of the Wedding Bridge to Mr. Yang and visit here.

The villagers nearby were doing nothing but playing cards and enjoying the sun.

Walking past the Wedding Bridge, there is a long list of stalls selling various small items, tourist souvenirs, yak meat, specialties, etc. It is like a walking commercial street. Give full play to the commercial value of the Wedding Bridge. I have ideas!

Next we went to Lover's Beach in Sichuan, which I personally think is the most beautiful pier in Lugu Lake. Seagulls, paddles, mountains and rivers complement each other...

The temperament here in Sichuan is slightly different. I feel that we should stay one night in a hotel in Yunnan and a hotel in Sichuan for a better experience.

Returning to Xiaoluoshui in Yunnan, a famous internet celebrity photo spot, someone simply arranged a photo prop on the side. Taking advantage of the mountains and rivers, the photo was called Sky Mirror! The person who came up with this idea is really amazing, and he can't count the money. It is said that three photographers went into battle on November 1. Let me introduce the charging standards. 1. Borrow venue props and take photos yourself, 50 yuan. 2. Let the photographer use our own mobile phones to take photos and use their venue props for a fee of 100 yuan. 3. The photographer used his SLR to shoot and used venue props for 200 yuan. Brother forced me to climb up to see the scenery. With my disabled legs, I sat on the edge of the exterior scene and struggled mentally for 2 minutes whether I wanted to be cut off! Finally, I raised my hands and surrendered, come on, I will choose the second gear, and I will become an internet celebrity!

I bought a few more photos with money.

Lugu Lake has a photographer’s package that takes photos with you, it’s 998 per person. Yesterday we gave up after hesitating, so this time I went to Caohai Wedding Bridge Lover’s Beach and I worked very hard to take photos for me, thinking I could earn that 998. return. I didn’t expect that after going through the pit in front, there would be another pit waiting behind me, haha

A few more beautiful pictures of Huawei mobile phones

I had already gone to the most awesome Rigg Peninsula Observation Deck (the promotional video shows this location),

Brother Biao was not satisfied and asked the driver to turn back to Xiaoluoshui (it had to go through several mountainside 😔). As an apology, we canceled other stops at other scenic spots and gave the driver a thank you fee.

I took almost hundreds of photos here to select these few. I feel the worst.😭Virgos are too difficult to take care of. Mr. Yang, a demanding Virgo, chooses photos under the scorching sun on the top of the plateau!

This is the end of the scenic tour.

The driver took us to the Firewood Turkey Restaurant he recommended. It is run by a husband and wife duo from Neijiang, Sichuan. There was a newly purchased Changan Cross Country parked at the door. They kept complaining that business is not easy, the rent is very expensive, every inch of land is precious, and Dianping said it was too bad. They charge an annual fee. 4,000 yuan, if you make a set meal, you will still get 10% commission. You can’t make much money every day, so why should you leave it to Dianping! One thing to say, it tastes great, free-range chicken, the chicken is firm, tasty and chewy, and the corn cake is the best I have ever tasted, just as I expected. The two of us ate for 180, and the table next door for 5 people cost 360. I actually want to say that I can’t afford the ground pot chicken in Shanghai for 180😋. And the location is not very good. Without Dianping, how can so many restaurants in the village attract people to your place? Regarding the importance of structure and vision, what can you do better if you only look at your own one-third of an acre🤩

I was walking outside in the cold at night, and I went to observe and comment on the flow of people in each restaurant...haha.

The next day, we rushed to the airport on the top of the plateau mountain and went home~~
