Everything in the past is a prologue,

Suddenly, I want to use my own way,

Record my 2020,

A tourist’s 2020,

A very special year,

An unexpected year

2020 (Part 1) records the story of the first half of the year,

There may be some gray tones at the beginning,

But it shouldn't be too boring,

Because, it’s all over...

Looking forward to 2020 (Part 2),

Will it be the second half of the year with rainbow bubbles...

January

On the afternoon of January 18 , I went to the company's James Coffetel Huangdao Hotel to participate in the group's annual meeting, where colleagues from all branches gathered together . In the evening, I stayed in the same room as a beautiful and capable Chinese girl. I took the craft beer she brought and went out to buy some snacks to go with the wine. That night, we had a lot of fun chatting, almost all night long. We have all been busy for nearly a month, and each of us took stock . Well, it was a somewhat fruitful Spring Festival customer reception season.

My 2020 (Part 1)

January 19 Although today is a weekend, I still went back to work to work overtime. Winter holidays and Spring Festival are the peak seasons for the tourism industry (second only to summer). At this time many tour groups are fully booked. I checked the customer group files again and marked all "to be processed" I hooked up and returned home with peace of mind.

I was making a beautiful plan in my heart: I would spend the next few days at home to spend time with my son who was on winter vacation. Soho would be fine.

The whole Chinese people know what happened after January 20 : the new coronavirus, "human-to-human transmission", Wuhan was locked down on the 23rd, and everyone in the country was quarantined at home...

I am thinking about my parents back home, but fortunately I have brothers and sisters who went home on leave early to stay with the elderly and take care of them. In the video, I saw that the whole family was well and healthy, and there was no shortage of daily necessities, including masks. My anxious heart slowly relaxed. On the 21st, I canceled the air ticket originally scheduled for the 23rd to return to my hometown for the New Year.

On January 24 CCTV announced that all domestic tour groups that had not yet departed would stop sending tours. After receiving the notice from the state, some customers who had been waiting for news received our dismissal notice and expressed their understanding. Fortunately, guests who have not departed since the announcement date did not suffer any losses.

It’s just that I feel sorry for the guests who requested cancellation before the 24th : Because no red-letter document was issued before, the cancellation can only be charged at the actual loss according to the terms of the contract, which leads to the fact that the guests have not yet been able to cancel. If you travel, you have to pay part of the loss costs, and the remaining group money can be returned. This is really the last thing we want to see...

Affected by the epidemic and the notice, I was also forced to cancel several group tours during the Spring Festival. All were cancelled, and domestic travel orders were cleared.

My 2020 (Part 1)

On January 27 CCTV announced that all outbound travel groups that have not yet departed will stop sending tours. At first, I just thought that only domestic tour groups would be affected, but I didn’t expect that outbound tour groups would be affected so quickly. Now “I’m really shocked” (please use Qingdao dialect to better understand the feeling) .

Outbound travel is different from domestic travel in that it has a national level. Outbound travel involves multiple agencies and offices that need to be coordinated. what to do? We can only bite the bullet and persuade guests of each group to cancel their trips.

Japan and South Korea are okay. They are neighbors separated by a strip of water. They are both Asian countries. After several negotiations, the losses collected are still small. However, this is not the case for long-term countries such as Europe, Australia, and the United States: Visa fees for issued visas, international air ticket cancellation fees, Overseas bookings, car deposits, etc. are all visible losses. We also hope to minimize the actual losses of our customers, so we have communicated and negotiated again and again, made countless phone calls, and responded to countless messages...

In order to quell the guests' complaints, I will advance the money and refund the tour fee after deducting losses to the guests, and then wait for the refund after the process is completed. When I feel numb after quitting the group, I look away: It doesn’t matter if I’m tired or I want a refund, as long as all the guests are safe.

Of course, there is another option for outbound tours: signing a written agreement to reschedule after negotiation. Out of trust in us, select guests who have rescheduled their tour , and then choose a new tour after the epidemic is over and overseas travel is allowed.

January 31 I have stayed at home for 11 days without taking a step out of the door. Taking advantage of the nice weather today, I went out to get some fresh air, to see if the "outside world" is still the same as before. . I called the father and son to climb the mountain closest to home. Passing by the lake in the community, I looked at the ducks, geese, and mandarin ducks in the water. They were free and I felt envious.

My 2020 (Part 1)

Looking up at the blue sky, there is no longer any shadow of the plane, and I can't help but wonder: When will I hear the roar of the plane again? When will I be able to travel far again with my suitcase that is almost collecting dust? The cold winter of 2020 should pass quickly...

My 2020 (Part 1)

February

February 15 Listen to the country, be patient, and stay in seclusion at home. I am not idle at all, I keep looking for things to do for myself every day: I follow many travel bloggers, draw nutrients from their travel notes, review my own travels, and make my heart full; Organize , archived customer information, and found the sense of accomplishment from the registration orders and group photos, which is a reflection of self-worth...

I carefully manage the Moments I post every day and learn to make short videos. I want to convey this message to my customers: Even if you can't go out, you should open your heart and let the world's scenery come in. In a chaotic world, maintain inner peace.

I thought to myself: Even if the opening of tourism is far away, I will persist. This is my lifelong career, and I must not give up lightly. I firmly believe that the virus will dissipate and the dark night will pass. Well, this is absolutely certain!

I accidentally read a passage from Mr. Nan Huaijin: " Our hearts are only as big as a fist and can't hold much. Don't put everything in it: pain, troubles, and pride, throw them all out. You have a bright future and endless blessings " gave me great inspiration. Yes, I was so happy before, who would have thought that a few days later it would be like a doomed one, but so what? Everything will pass, no matter good or bad.

February 17 One day after Qingdao City announced the resumption time, I went to the company in the CBD. This was the first time I came to the company after the holiday. It has been a long time. Some other fraternal cooperatives have also "resumed work but not resumed production."

On the way to work, I saw closed shops on both sides of the road, streets with few pedestrians, communities surrounded by barbed wire fences, and community volunteers wearing red armbands. I suddenly shed tears. Why is the New Year of 2020 so similar to the helplessness people felt before they couldn't board Noah's Ark in the movie "2012"...

Although I feel a little sad, I still want to show others my positive energy. I posted a picture outside the company with the text: The difficult days will eventually pass. If you don’t believe it, look back.

February 26 Learned from People’s Daily Official Weibo,
The early cherry blossoms at Wuhan University are in bloom.
I remember the only time I went to Wuhan University to enjoy cherry blossoms.
Still in the summer of 2000,
The young man sitting in his prime
On the front bumper of the bicycle,
He took me to see the colorful cherry blossoms at the foot of Luojia Mountain.
I walked past one plant after another, vaguely remembering the ground
Covered with a thin layer of petals, pink.
At that time, I couldn’t tell the difference between cherry blossoms and wild peach blossoms.
I asked the boy who drove me,
He talked a lot but I didn’t remember it.
It wasn’t until I took a group to Japan a few years later,
From the commentary given by the international student tour guide, I could barely tell...
And now, in the silent spring of the Gengzi Year,
The wind comes from the East Lake, and the cherry blossoms bloom on the cherry blossom avenue,
But I can’t see the laughing girl,
And that, the chasing boy...
Whose youth is not confused? Who is young and not frivolous?

March

March 23 When I have nothing to do, I go to the yard to observe the cherry and apricot trees I planted, and take photos and records. This has become my greatest pleasure every day. Watch them magically, like magic, sprouts sprout from the "dead branches" ( like a newborn baby, they look the same day by day), flowers sprout and bloom. They turned into gorgeous flowers , and bore fruit, from green to red... From time to time, there would be a few stray cats that had been fed fat, and would come and roll around under the tree. They were not afraid when they saw me. It doesn't run or scream, it just takes care of itself and plays around, which is interesting. If we weren't staying at home due to the epidemic, we would never have cared about these commonplace things before...

March 27 Shandong Provincial Bureau of Culture and Tourism officially announced: Domestic tourism is open! The epidemic situation in various parts of the country has been effectively controlled. After Yunnan, Sichuan, Xinjiang, Chongqing, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Hainan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Henan, Hebei, Gansu, Ningxia, Jilin and other places have successively opened up intra-region travel, it has finally On the 27th, Shandong Province issued a notice to open intra-provincial travel.

Even though we know that for travel agencies in Shandong, they are only a drop in the bucket compared to before the epidemic, but after all, we are looking forward to the day when travel advertisements will reappear in the circle of friends! You must live a life full of hope. Now that you can travel within the province, is inter-provincial travel still far away? Spring is here and as long as we are still here, there is hope and a bright future! Who says it’s not the case?

My 2020 (Part 1)

March 31 I haven’t traveled far for more than two months, which is a record breaking record. My restless heart is getting ready to move again. I originally wanted to go to Kashgar, Xinjiang. This is a place I have thought about for a long time, but Xinjiang does not allow foreigners to enter, so I had to give up the idea. After careful consideration, we set our sights on: the Land of Abundance ~ Sichuan (travel within the province will be open on March 17, and people from other provinces will check into hotels with the local health code. Travel agency flights + wine or group tours have not resumed).

Chengdu is a city that many people like. It has a lot of delicious food, a lot of fun, and a lot of eye-catching things. Western Sichuan has always been my favorite place. I took a trip to the Grand Ring Road last year but did not go to Litang (no one would have thought that more than eight months later, a Tibetan young man named Ding Zhen would bring fire to Ganzi and him. (hometown ~ Litang), I didn’t go to Daocheng Yading (I don’t like such a slightly mature scenic spot, and always prefer original ecological places like Ali, Tibet), but went to Danba, Danling, Mosca, Se Da, Yaqing Temple, Dege and other niche places.

After the details of entering Sichuan for epidemic prevention and control were finalized, I invited a friend on WeChat, the recently retired vice president of China National Travel Service, who is also a heavyweight in the Shandong Photographers Association ~ Sister Shao (I have seen a photo of Sister Shao when she was young) , quite amazing! Especially like the young Yamaguchi Momoe) and the equally outstanding Brother Sun. The couple, my colleague Jia Jia and I, and a group of four tourists, "planned" a trip in Western Sichuan in an extremely low-key manner. journey of.

I didn't dare to disturb my guests, after all, it was a sensitive period. Those who want to go can wait until next year when the epidemic situation stabilizes and I will organize it.

April

April 8 Wuhan unblocks and restarts! Hubei people finally regain their freedom! In the green belt of the community, all the flowers bloomed almost overnight. Sigh for the tenacious vitality of these creatures of nature! It turns out that it has always been: Nature may not need humans, but humans cannot live without nature .

April 14~April 21 Trip to the West Sichuan Small Ring Line. Before departure, did not make a guide, draw a route map, or book a hotel in advance. He only booked the outbound air ticket and Master Chen's car. This was a true "just leave".

I still miss those days of freedom: breathing the freshest air in the beloved Tibetan area, drinking the sweetest highland barley wine from the Tibetan family (Master Chen’s house), eating The best boiled fish at Tashi Zangju (Master Chen’s brother’s house), soaking in the wildest hot springs under the snow-capped mountains, hiking in the primeval forest at an altitude of 3,600 meters, coming to Man and Wild "The Last Mysterious Village" Mosca, where animals live in harmony...

If it hadn't been for this extraordinary period, I still couldn't let go, and I would have really wanted to stay here for a long time. If you are interested, you can read my travel notes to Western Sichuan "2020 My Travel Notes to Danba in Western Sichuan (4.14~4.21)"

May

May 16~May 17

I signed up for the camping organized by Brother Long Teng, the leader of the Qingdao camping group. I have longed for the camping life for a long time, and finally, this camping novice like me is here. Under the leadership of Sister Tutu, I walked into a brand new outdoor organization and met the super talented boss ~ Brother Long Teng , the enthusiastic and kind Sister Yan and her family , and also got to know I have a bunch of veterans who I can chat with: Bingbing, Yueyue, Amin, CICI, Yunxiang, Gangzi, Qinling, Dongdong, DC. We hit it off instantly, as if we were long-lost friends reunited.

Outdoor people have very similar mentality and style of doing things. Regardless of their job or origin, they become familiar when they get together. Cooperating with each other, washing dishes, grilling, making dumplings, sweeping the floor, doing chores, drinking tea and drinking casually, they are all cheerful people, and they talk about things related to travel.

At first we named the group: Descendants of the Dragon (Nine Sons of the Dragon), referred to as the Nine Sons Group. Later, with the addition of CICI, Yundi changed it to: Long Chuan (89 Bu Li Shi). They are really a group of very interesting people, all of them are so sincere and unique .

When you can't travel, you can camp with them and "set up camp" with them. Listen to the waves at night at Phoenix Inn, have a party at Dongmaiyao B&B, and watch the fireworks (fireworks) all over the sky at Liyuan ...

My 2020 (Part 1)
My 2020 (Part 1)

At the last gathering at the end of the year, I said, "You are my biggest gain in 2020". This is indeed the case. In addition to my family, they have accompanied me through the extraordinary year of 2020 and brought me many surprises.

Listen to Yun Di playing Ukulele Bingbing chorus, Enjoy Amin's heavenly voice of "Faye Wong" , Learn to dance with Yue Yue "Seaweed Dance" , CICI's delicate and careful ( always when you forget to bring something, she must have a spare), made by Yun Di Spicy duck head (the most delicious in Qingdao, bar none), Winter barbecue techniques (especially grilled fish, is also a must), Gangzi’s warming (when camping in late autumn, he sent hot water bottles and heaters to each of our ladies’ tents, but he himself suffered from the cold), Qinling’s wisdom, DC’s is cool

With these interesting souls and young people who love life, the soul can always be "purified", just like going on a hike. After packing up the camping equipment and returning home, you will feel a different sense of security.

Camping is like a unique seasoning that distinguishes the originally dull normal life during the epidemic. A sense of ritual in life is indispensable, but a sense of freshness is even more indispensable.

May 19th China Tourism Day~ Among the 38 people in the class who studied tourism, I was the only one who chose my old profession after graduation and has stuck to it to this day. There is a saying that has become very popular this year: "A grain of ashes from the times is like a huge mountain when it falls on ordinary people." For tourists, 2020 will be a lot of difficulties, and it will be an extremely difficult year.
The difference is that some people choose to grit their teeth, stumble forward, and persist silently; some people choose to give up and find another way out. China Tourism Day, everything grows silently, you and I both have strength! Travelers, come on!

May 25 Classes have resumed! The spirited young man who has been attending online classes for many days and has been going crazy at home finally returns to school on this day! I remember that when I went to work early in the morning, there were many cars on the road and it was very congested. But suddenly I felt a little happy, an indescribable excitement. A video of Qingdao scenery from "Renjia Saw" was also specially imported. The copy reads "pretentiously": I will never complain about traffic jams again, because that is the bustling avenue, and I will no longer feel overwhelmed by the crowds. Because that is the peace and prosperity of the country and the people.

June

June 3 I got acquainted with Sister Shao during her trip to western Sichuan, and Sister Shao had read several travel notes I wrote on Mafengwo.com, so I was recommended by her to join the "Qingdao Self-Media Group" (Writing this, I suddenly remembered a short story when I was in western Sichuan: In Suopo Tibetan Village, Sister Shao wanted to take a photo of me. I was fiddling with WeChat on my phone. She smiled in Qingdao dialect. "There's a deal coming," we both burst into laughter Yes, how can there be a deal at this time? )

From mid-May to early June, I have participated in several Qingdao tours organized by the Qingdao Culture and Tourism Bureau, together with reporters from the official WeChat accounts of Qingdao news websites and leading food travel bloggers in the island city. The surrounding areas are popular for collecting trends, from New Hope, Jiaozhou Shaohai, Jiuding Lotus Villa to Laoshan Township Yuemeisu, Chengyang Baifu Xiangyuan, Cuilin Yunzhuang, from Hongdao Hanjia Folk Village, Fantawild to Jimo Ancient City , Red Journey , during my free time in late spring and early summer, even though my business has not improved much, it is a great blessing in my life to get to know so many talented photographers and media people.

My 2020 (Part 1)

This day was also the first day of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. Someone drove me back to my mother's home, which was more than 1,000 kilometers away. , he has been doing very well in this regard ( Someone He is a filial and sensible son-in-law. He emphasized to me many days ago that the first thing to do after the epidemic is stabilized is to Because the company had a lot of work, he hurried back after the short holiday, leaving me at home until mid-July.

During this time, I was also able to stay with my parents, help with shopping for groceries, sweep the floor, do some small housework, watch TV with my dad (mainly to keep him from running around), and chat about things like The memory is already blurry and patchwork... My father has a shrunken cerebellum and suffers from Alzheimer's disease. He was lost once three years ago, but fortunately he was found and brought back by a kind person. Dad is always surrounded by people, thanks to my mother's careful care and personal care.

This is probably the longest time I have stayed at my parents’ home since I got married, but I am very satisfied. Without the fetters of work, I can calm down and spend time with my parents, and be filial and happy under my knees. This was something that I would have never dared to think about a few years ago.

It just so happened that my parents' new house had just been renovated, so I chose an auspicious day to move in and get the old man familiar with the new surroundings. I hope more people can live in the new community, so that my mother will not be lonely if she has neighbors. It is very hard for one person to take care of an Alzheimer's patient.

On the 27th, there was another great event. The computer allocation of the "junior to junior high school" that I had been thinking about finally got a big surprise on this day: the family beast was admitted to the key middle school of his choice! His father was also very happy. He called the spirited young man far away in Qingdao and said, "Your good luck has been used up today. You have to take the next step on your own. You will not rely on computers to allocate places for further studies. It depends on your strength and your performance.”

Looking back at the time when I filled out my application, I would like to thank my dear fourth child ~ Nan Nan’s mother. When I was confused (I’m ashamed to say it), I always focused on my work and didn’t care too much about which school my child was going to attend. , she didn’t even know that Yucai and Experiment were in the same school). She called me for nearly two hours and helped me analyze the general situation of the middle schools in the south and north of Shinan City in detail. Finally, under her guidance, I was able to successfully complete the application form. This is really my most sincere and 120,000 thanks to Lao Si!

Postscript: When I stayed at home until July 14th, suddenly at night, multiple travel groups became excited, and they were all running to tell each other the good news: Inter-provincial travel is about to resume! ! ! Another mocking picture from some expert’s PS, it really makes people laugh:

My 2020 (Part 1)

Well, we were previously announced by CCTV as being collectively unemployed. This time, the State Administration of Culture and Tourism finally came to inform us that we can resume work. I was very happy, and suddenly I felt like there were countless things waiting for me to do. I guess my excitement was noticed by my smart mother, who said, "Go back quickly and work hard." Don’t worry about your dad. " Poor parents in the world... Just like that, I booked a flight back to Qingdao on the 16th.

My 2020 (Part 1)

Although the beginning of 's in 2020 was very difficult,

But in everything there is a loss there must be a gain,

In this special year, my mood has also changed a lot.

We don't know at what moment the accident will happen.

We don't know at which moment we suddenly lose our freedom.

Only when "life is impermanent" really happens

When on one's own body,

Only then did I understand how important it is to "live in the moment and enjoy yourself in time".

Let nature take its course, which is the best choice in life.

Life can be colorful, but it must not be messy...
