Diary of October 29, 2017

I spent three days at the National Annual Conference at the venue, listening to lectures or speaking during the day, and having meetings in the evening. Nervous and busy.

At the closing ceremony in the morning, our Pathology Department received the certificate for being among the top ten in the country for submitted conference papers. After the Youth Committee meeting in the afternoon, we came out and found that the venue, which had been crowded with people in the past few days, had become empty and tidy. When we walked out of the venue, the sun was shining brightly.

I asked a friend from the youth committee to take a photo for me at the entrance of the conference hall as a souvenir. Because the conference ended early, I had an hour to travel.

I started to look around the venue. The architecture of the venue was very high-end and grand. The conference rooms in the venue were well designed and could be opened to make them larger or divided to make them smaller.

Although about 4,000 people attended the meeting this time, due to the good information management, the whole process was very smooth and orderly, the venue utilization rate was very high, the acoustics and air-conditioning effects of the venue were very good, so the listening environment was very good. The trash was cleared quickly, the water supply was plentiful, and the entire venue was kept clean. It was a well-managed conference.

The closest attraction to the venue is Eslite Bookstore. I went in and took a look. Because I didn't have enough time, I took a look on the first floor. I could feel the leisure and love of reading among Suzhou people.

On the way back to the hotel, I suddenly found that the meeting place had a very Singaporean feel, with tall glass-walled rooms.

The Suzhou master who sent me to the station confirmed my feeling that this developed area in Suzhou was indeed built to prevent Singapore.

Master also enthusiastically told me about the scenic spots on the roadside, such as Jinji Lake, and the Gate of the East, which is now joked as "Autumn Pants".

Suzhou gives me the impression of modernity, high-end atmosphere, beauty and cleanliness. The people in Suzhou gave me the impression of being warm and friendly. For example, the master who sent me off, the receptionist at the venue, and the security guard whom I asked for directions were all very friendly.

After listening to my evaluation, the driver master said: You need to come to Suzhou again to feel its simplicity and elegance.

Professor Deng from Xiehe felt the charm of Suzhou. I read and reread the WeChat messages she wrote (the writing is really amazing and beautiful), and I felt the beauty of the ancient city of Suzhou with her.

I will definitely visit Suzhou with my loved ones next time. Goodbye Suzhou!
