We love each other for a lifetime, but life is still too short. ——Shen Congwen

When I came to this romantic place, I started by borrowing this sentence from Shen Congwen.

first time i

For the first time, I will complete the free travel guide. Before, I always went with a group or with the arrangements of my peers. This time I checked a lot of guides and travel notes online and chose the path I wanted to take. I always wonder, what is insight? The written explanation is that you can see things for what they are. During this time, I fell in love with competitive product analysis and research. Because you see a more complete side than others, you can more easily see the essence of things. I had the same feeling when doing the guide this time. After seeing so many travel notes and guides, I became clearer about the path I wanted to take.

For the first time, I took a green car , and the whistle of "Woooooo~dirty~" was often heard in my ears. It felt like I was back in the Republic of China era, haha;

For the first time, I saw alpacas, yaks, and peacocks;

For the first time, I stayed in a sea view room in a hotel because I decided to live a more refined life and treat myself better;

For the first time, I used the hotel’s laundry service to improve my travel endurance;

For the first time, I used the hotel's luggage storage service. After checking out, I stored my luggage and went to work easily and played for a few more hours.

origin

To put it simply, it was because of the song "In a Moment" that I wanted to visit Lijiang.

In detail:

I just came to work in Hangzhou in 2016. At that time, work was relatively easy and I got off work early, so I often rode to Xixi Wetland after get off work, a round trip that took more than an hour. There is a Qing Bar called Jianghu 19 in Xixi Wetland, so every time I come here, I stop by the roadside and listen to a few songs. Once, I heard the song "A Moment" with live tambourine accompaniment, and I liked it very much. After searching for information, I found that this song was famously covered by Lijiang Xiaoqian. In Lijiang, you can hear this song all over the streets (now in 2019, this song is basically not played here in Lijiang). So, I wanted to go to Lijiang and listen to this song.

Day 1: Dabing’s hut (the plane arrived in Lijiang at 19:00)

The next day: Lijiang Old Town, mainly going to Wangu Tower and Sifang Street

Day 3: Blue Moon Valley, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Banbu Bar

Day 4: Around Erhai Lake

Day 5: Dali Ancient City, Alpaca Photography

Lijiang Chapter:

Day 1: Dabing’s hut

This is a literary and artistic bar. There are many negative comments about it on Zhihu, mainly saying that it is scolded for taking pictures and it is a bit pornographic. I stayed here for about an hour. Before singing each song, the singer would tell the story behind the song, most of which were related to wandering and love. The lyrics are relatively lively, with some dirty and funny words, so the overall atmosphere is pretty good. At the beginning, there was only guitar accompaniment, and later tambourine and harmonica were added. It was full of folk music, and I felt that "one sound is enough to waste years." At 23 o'clock, curfew, there is no singing. The rest is for everyone to tell their stories and drink or drink. I left at this point. If you come and like to hear other people's stories or want to share your own stories with others, you can stay later.

Photography is not allowed inside the cabin (mainly the singers and the entire audience are not allowed to be photographed). I saw many signatures from visitors on the wall, so I signed one and took a photo. In addition, I also took a photo outside the house.

Day 2: Lijiang Ancient Town

Go to Wangu Tower and take pictures of the whole ancient city. Two lines of poems come to mind: the bold one "I am not afraid of the floating clouds covering my eyes, just because I am at the highest level", and the graceful one "I am always a guest in the sad autumn of thousands of miles, and I am alone on the stage after being sick for a hundred years".

Go to Sifang Street, the busiest place in the ancient city, to watch the dance of the Naxi ethnic group (it is said that at 11:00, 14:00, 16:00 and 19:00 every day, Naxi grandmothers perform local characteristics here) Dance), visitors can blend in and dance along.

Sifang Street was an important commodity trading hub during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is also an important hub station on the Ancient Tea Horse Road. There is Sifang Street not only in Lijiang Old Town, but also in Xizhou, Dali.

The Mosuo people, a major branch of the Naxi ethnic group, are a matrilineal society. Women do the main labor, as shown in the picture below, and they often carry things in frames like this.

Mosuo people

Mosuo walking marriage:

Specifically, the Mosuo people often have bonfire parties, where men and women dance together. At a party, if a man is interested in you, use three fingers to press into the woman's palm. If the woman is also interested in the man, she can press his palm back with two fingers. That night, the man will bring three things - a knife, a hat, and food, and go to the woman (female adults will live alone in a "flower house" that is separate from the family house). Food is used to feed the woman’s watchdog to keep it from barking. The knife and hat were inserted by the man into the door of the woman's room after he went to her room, to tell others that this woman had a master tonight. After having sex, the man should leave quietly at dawn or before the woman’s family members wake up to show respect for the woman’s family.

After walking marriage, child support:

After the child is born and the child is full moon, the woman will announce the child's biological father to prevent incest marriage. After that, the man stayed at his original home, and so did the woman. The child bears the mother's surname and is also raised by the woman (mainly by the child's mother and mother's brothers).

In addition, I also took some photos near the ancient city and would like to share them:

Day 3: Blue Moon Valley

The water in Blue Moon Valley is melted from snow mountains. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is a sacred mountain in the eyes of the Naxi people and the incarnation of God. Therefore, it is said that the water here can "wash the luck of officialdom first, the luck of wealth secondly, and the luck of peach blossoms thirdly". No matter how much, I washed it three times, hahahaha~

Day 3: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

Going up to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was a bit scary, fearing altitude sickness, death or injury. However, on the climb from Glacier Park to 4680, it was good to have two elders walking together and taking care of each other. We are friends who "live and die together" with each other. I added the WeChat account of one of the elders.

What's a bit emotional is that the scenery along the way is so picturesque, but I am alone. I look forward to having you by my side next time!

After saying goodbye, we went to Bambu Bar (Banbu Music Live) where Xiaoqian sang.

A cocktail + the song "Need Someone to Accompany" as a farewell to Lijiang.

Day 4: Around the Erhai Lake

This time around the Erhai Lake, I walked a quarter of a circle, from Xiaguan Town in the south, around the Erhai Lake counterclockwise, taking the Huanhai East Road and riding to Luwo Mountain in Caise Town. The more famous scenic spot is Xiaoputuo, which is famous for the flocks of migratory birds that flock here in winter.

Wedding photos are being taken in many places on the beach. If you don’t have a plan of your own, you can get out of the car and take photos if you see a lot of cars parked on the road, hahaha~

This time around Erhai Lake, there are two places I want to take photos of: Waise Wharf and Luwo Mountain. At that time, I was reading the guide on Mafengwo, and the photos I took of these two places were particularly beautiful. When I came, the Caise Pier was not open, so I only went to take pictures of Luwo Mountain.

Day 5: Dali Ancient City, Alpaca

In the ancient city of Dali, in addition to taking pictures of the city gate and the overall view of the ancient city. I also found a relatively niche place - photographing alpacas and retro buses. I want to see an alpaca, mainly because it is the ancient mythical beast, the grass mud horse. In addition, in Honor of Kings, one of Cai Wenji's lines is "My favorite male god is Master Mengde, my favorite pet is A Dian, and my dream is to raise an alpaca." This is how we finished walking through the ancient city of Dali. At the end of the trip, I rewarded myself with an old popsicle.
