Title: Travel Notes on Niagara Falls

In October, the heat of summer is gone, replaced by the gentle breeze. On days like this, people are no longer unbearably hot, and it is a great time to travel.

No, under the leadership of teachers Tina and Helen, we came to Niagara Falls on the border of the United States and Canada.

Although today is a Saturday, the students gathered in the hall early. After everyone arrived, we took the school bus and set off under the sunshine. The school bus we took this time was an older bus, similar to the Chinese buses from the last century. This added a bit of mystery to the trip.

After about two hours of bumpy ride, we finally arrived at Niagara Falls on the border of the United States and Canada. When we got off the bus, the sound of the waterfall and the mist from the torrent in the air immediately washed away our fatigue.

Although the U.S.-Canada border is now closed, the Great Falls is still a good place to attract tourists. However, it can still be seen that everyone is generally taking the current epidemic very seriously, and everyone wears masks.

Under the teacher's introduction, we visited the Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and "Bridal Veil" Falls in turn; the water of these waterfalls all comes from the Niagara River. The first is the horseshoe-shaped waterfall: This is basically the waterfall we see in textbooks and brochures. The flat river water pours down from the horseshoe-shaped cliff, stirring up waves of water and forming rainbows under the sunlight. . Then there are the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls: Although they come down from the same river, these two waterfalls are formed due to the obstruction of rocks. The American waterfall is larger, while the bride's veil is only a narrow one. The name "Bride's Veil" does seem a bit strange; don't tell me, the rolling water of the river does look like a veil on the face of a solemn and gorgeous bride.

As the saying goes, "Food is the most important thing for the people." We not only want to feast our eyes, but also our mouths. After visiting the waterfall, we went to a nearby meadow to have lunch.

Did you think there were only packed lunches at school? No No No! The attentive teacher Helen had already ordered pizza and fried chicken for us before getting off the bus. For us who were very tired from running around all morning, these were like delicacies and were quickly eaten away by us. Light.

After having enough wine and food, our day trip is coming to an end. Full of joy, we sat on the school bus and returned to school accompanied by the setting sun.
