Pingyang Shigou Mountain and Nanyan Scenic Area face each other from a distance. There are many strange rocks in the mountain with different shapes, especially the strange rocks that resemble dogs, hence the name Shigou Mountain. This loop crossing takes about 4 hours from Henan Village to Baoshan Village, and the total distance is 6.85 kilometers.
We arrived at Henan Village in Binh Duong at 10:34. The sun was full at the moment. We were exposed to the scorching sun and the heat was unbearable, but it did not affect our mood of climbing the mountain at all. When everyone saw the scenery of Shigou Mountain in the distance appearing in front of their eyes, they all admired it. They were all confident and enthusiastic, and took big steps towards Shigou Mountain.
A large number of us walked through the fields and entered the coniferous forest road. We wore hats, heavy backpacks, tight skin suits, and sleeves. We marched one by one. No one wanted to fall behind. Some team members walked with their cute puppies. The puppies were running around, lively and cute, making the team members move forward happily. Suddenly I looked up and saw a five-star red flag erected on the opposite hilltop, fluttering in the wind. There was a pavilion on the mountainside under the flag. This scene gave people a feeling of climbing high to win. As you walk into the foot of the mountain, you can see a cave appearing in front of you, giving you a sense of mystery. Turning your head slightly, you can see another big stone, which looks like a sitting poodle, which makes people's eyes brighten.
In the hot weather, walking was indeed a bit difficult, especially on the ancient trails in the mountains. I was sweating profusely and panting. Therefore, every time we walk on a mountain road, we will stop and rest. The team members who were unwilling to rest more quickly moved forward, leaving the team members behind them far away. If the team members in front are walking too fast, the team leader behind will shout loudly: "Those in front walk slower! Wait for the back! Those in front walk slower! Wait for the back!"
After a torturous journey on the ancient road, we finally arrived at the top of the mountain and saw the beautiful scenery. You see, the bright red azaleas are blooming under the blue sky and sunshine, looking so graceful and heart-warming; you see, a group of budding azaleas deeply attracted a female team member to inquire about this girl. The expressions of the team members seemed to be smelling the fragrance of the flowers, and they seemed to be intoxicated by the beauty of the flowers; you see, the big rock of the poodle looks like a lazy toad from the back, staring ahead, as if there is swan meat in front of it. It fascinates.
Moving forward, the higher we climbed, the more beautiful the scenery became. There are piles of stones everywhere, some look like mushrooms, some look like sentry soldiers, and some look like fortresses. A little further up, there is an upturned rock. Standing on it, you have a wide view, which makes people feel relaxed and happy. This is definitely an excellent spot for taking pictures: standing and taking pictures, pushing the door open, as if you are opening the door to your mood; sitting and taking pictures, lowering your head and looking down, you can use the view behind as the background, making you stand out. Protagonist; when you stand on this rock with your hands raised and cheer, you are like an eagle flying high, which is extremely exciting.
We continued to climb along the mountain road, and two roads appeared in front of us, one went straight up to the left and climbed to the top of the mountain on the left, and the other went diagonally to the left and climbed to the top of the mountain on the right. The ones in front of us climbed to the right and found that the scenery of the rock piles on the mountain top here is more beautiful than below. These rocks are red and yellow in color and have unique shapes. Among them, the famous stone dog is found here. The stone dog is at the bottom of these rock piles. When we climbed up, the stone dog was the first thing we encountered. If you don’t pay attention to this stone dog, it is just an ordinary stone. You will slip past it and miss it. Looking from top to bottom, this stone dog seems to be barking constantly with its head raised, as if a stranger has invaded its territory, and its shape is lifelike. Continuing to climb up from Shigou, there is a pile of large rocks. These rocks are arranged irregularly and scattered. It is difficult to see anything at the moment. The first impression is that they are very unique. However, if you look at them carefully, you will find that some of the stones look like an elephant with a short trunk standing on the top of the mountain and looking down affectionately at the front; Some of them look like a lonely mouse looking at the sky, wary of the things in the sky. The movement of eagles; Some are like a baby bird waiting for its mother to feed it; Some are like a couple, hugging each other to show their affection. We shouted from the top of the opposite hill: "Hey! The scenery here is beautiful! Friends from the opposite side, please come and take a look! " The team members on the opposite hilltop heard our shouts , also came over to enjoy the beautiful stones together. After admiring the red and yellow rocks, I continued walking towards the opposite mountain. On the opposite side of the hill is the hill leading back down the mountain. There are no trees on this hilltop, but it is covered with green grass and lush green leaves. From a distance, it looks like a grassland. The ridge was forced by travelers to walk out of a winding path and slowly ascended. On the left side, there are several stone pillars looking up to the sky, which is very spectacular. And there is a big rock on the right side. From a distance, it looks like a dog's head sticking out from the back of the mountain, which is amazing. Continue walking along this mountain road, accompanied by azaleas along the way, which is very pleasant.
Over the top of the mountain, you can see the villages and houses below in front of you. It was already past 12 noon, and everyone was hungry, so they found rocks to sit down and eat. After eating and resting for a while, everyone started to set off again. The road down the mountain is still quite steep. Some donkey friends who have just been outdoors, especially the female donkeys who have just left, are very nervous when walking. They are afraid when they see the steep places. They hold on to the rocks with their hands desperately, and their feet below He refused to obey and simply slid down. Some screamed in fear and kept muttering: "Oh my God! How do we get down there!" After a while, many travel friends were stuck on a downhill road. The travelers who were stuck in the traffic jam were dumbfounded when they saw this scene. Suddenly, the donkey friend who reached the bottom shouted loudly: "No! There is no road at the bottom, it is all cliffs. Everyone should go back the same way!" Hearing that there is no road below, those new donkeys who finally got down, such as It was like lightning striking down, and I couldn't help myself, so I started to panic. But no matter what, since there is no way down, we still have to go back up the way we came. When those new donkeys saw the slope, they were afraid of the different places and didn't know how to get up. In order to speed up, I also acted as a lifeguard, lending a helping hand and pulling them up.
When we came up, someone found a mountain road leading below. In fact, this road is also the road trodden by travel friends before. When everyone heard that there was a way back, everyone was very excited, but when they saw that this road was smaller and steeper than the previous downhill road, everyone began to be in a daze, especially those new donkeys. However, daring travelers with outdoor experience are still brave enough to go down with bare hands. Here, I also want to praise those female donkeys who are brave enough to go on! Those who were hesitant and afraid finally came down with the help of ropes.
When we came down the steep cliff road, we saw a different scenery. Huge stone pillars stand there one after another, as if you are entering a stone forest. It is very spectacular. Looking up, you can see the stone forest above soaring into the sky, which is awe-inspiring. The huge cliff makes you feel your insignificance immediately. Someone saw a cave above from a distance, and ran up to it very excitedly. Looking around casually, you will find a rock standing alone on the cliff. From a distance, it looks like Tang Monk. The image is lifelike and amazing.
Coming out of the stone forest, there is a relatively obvious stone staircase. Go down the stone stairs and continue going up. There is no road ahead again. At this time, everyone started to panic again, feeling like they were in a maze. It’s really like this. It’s an obvious path, but why does it seem like there’s no way to go after walking on it? ! And the villages below can be seen so close. Some people wanted to risk going down the cliff, but were stopped by most people. For safety reasons, it was better to be careful. Fortunately, on my way back, I saw a road going down the mountain. In fact, this road is covered by grass under the stone stairs, so it doesn't look obvious. I found the road and immediately shouted to my teammates above to come down and walk. Next, I rushed down alone along this downhill road until I reached Xiashan Longyan Temple.
Longyan Temple is a local Buddhist holy place. It is built at the foot of Baoshan Mountain, with Baoshan Mountain at its back. The front is sunny and has a wide view. It is a geomantic treasure land. Every holiday, people come here to light incense and worship, praying for the safety of their families. Now the temple is managed by elderly Buddhist believers and monks live here. Longyan Temple is a courtyard box building. There is a plaque on the gate that says Longyan Temple, which is particularly eye-catching. Enter the temple, the main hall is the Sanshengbao Hall, and the side halls on both sides are the guest rooms and kitchen. It was already past 1:40pm when I arrived at Longyan Temple. When I came, the Buddhist grandmothers and monks had almost finished their meals. When they saw me coming, the grandmothers quickly got up and asked me to come over and eat noodles together. There was a grandma who called me and hurriedly went to the pot to make some noodles for me to eat. She was so enthusiastic. I declined because I was full. However, grandma did not stop. Seeing the team members coming from behind, she continued to call. I think people who believe in Buddhism have a bodhisattva heart and are kind-hearted and enthusiastic. The local people believe in Buddhism, so they all have a Bodhisattva-like heart and are kind-hearted. When we went down the mountain to rest in other people’s houses, the locals were very polite. They brought us stools from home and brought us one whenever we came. They were very friendly. I think this has something to do with their belief in Buddhism.
There is an ancient road from Longyan Temple that leads directly down the mountain. Along the ancient road, you will reach the destination Baoshan Village. We arrived at Baoshan Village at 2:15 in the afternoon, ending this crossing activity.
