Onions, radishes, and tomatoes don't believe that there is such a thing as pumpkin in the world. They think it is a fantasy. The pumpkin doesn't speak, it just grows silently.

——"When the world was still young"

Okay, the story begins with Pumpkin traveling. When Pumpkin travels, she doesn’t like to get together with others to see the sights. She likes to Cosplay the local people’s street life. If you also like it, you can read this series of articles of hers.

"If you want to learn to take the long way, you must take the shortcut." This is what my mother said. Do the important things in front of you first, and first explore the small city around you.

Ding'an is a small town, just like us, we can see through it at a glance. As for Ding'an, you only need to visit a station to get a rough idea of the distribution of its main roads. Bus numbers 1-6 are all bus lines in Ding'an City.

When you come to Ding'an, your first stop is to visit Yanjiang Park. This is the most mature park in Ding'an County currently (10 month18, 2020). More importantly, Its station gathers buses of 6 lines. This will be the best starting point for you to understand Ding'an.

Line 1 takes the main road in the city. It is the road with the least scenery along the way. It passes through "Wenming Road - Jianlong Avenue - Xian'an Road".

On Jianlong Avenue, about 250 meters past the traffic police brigade, you will reach Tamlan Bridge. From the bridge, you can see Xiantun Creek, which leads to Nandu River. I often call it "Nandu River". The clouds here are wonderful, the fields are wonderful, and the hardworking people in the fields are wonderful. I like to go there and walk along the stream. Walk along the road to the north of the bridge. About halfway between Tamlan Bridge and the unknown village road opposite, there is a small solar photoelectric conversion base. You can also stop and look for it. Some public facilities here are under construction and will be more suitable for taking children to do nature reading and other activities in the future.

The terminus of Line 2 and Line 1 are both Xiangou, but Line 2 will detour from a small place to Jianlongyuan. Not far from Jianlongyuan Station, there is Tropical Bird World where you can go and see.

If you arrive in Xiangou early in the morning, you can taste the local rice dumplings and pickled noodles at the terminal market. If you are hesitant about what to eat first, I recommend the rice dumplings first, because I think the pickled noodles are the most recommended. , it’s in Haikou, we’ll talk about that later. Compared with the rice dumplings from local teahouses and hotels, I prefer the rice dumplings from the market. I think there is a smell of earthly fireworks in them. In the market, the rice dumplings made by Xu Guan Dad (I don’t know which two characters are Xu Guan, here is the pronunciation. Xu Guan should be the name of the place, and Xu Guan Dad is an uncle from Xu Guan) are always more expensive than other rice dumplings. It costs one yuan and has a lot of meat filling, but I prefer the taste of other rice dumplings next to the cart selling breakfast pastries.

If you arrive in Xiangou in the evening, you can go to Xiantun Village to eat duck meat (white chopped duck) or eat dancing beef (roast beef) near the market. These are the specialties here, and the taste is similar in each restaurant. The beef meatballs on the market may be a bit greasy, maybe because I was used to eating pure pork meatballs from Mr. Chen (an old friend)'s house. I know what is good and don't want to settle for something less good. Is it okay to at least tell the truth?

Routes 3 and 4 detour through the new urban area and pass through many newly built residential areas. The terminal station is in Fumin Community. It is recommended to ride on your own and enjoy the scenery after you know the road. You can also call a tricycle ( There are very few taxis in the urban area of Ding'an, and motorcycle taxis are currently the main public transportation besides buses.) Take your time to enjoy it, there are not many people on the road.

Cycling is a personal pilgrimage, while hitchhiking allows you to experience the fireworks of the world. Especially when carpooling, you don’t know what kind of people you will meet and what kind of stories you will hear on this section of the road. If you meet Enough strangers, maybe you could write a book like "Night Sailing."

Half a day is enough to take a look around Taling New Area by bike or by car. I'm not very talkative, but I met a lot of talkative drivers on the road and they told me a lot of things I didn't know. For example, a driver took me around the new city to see the buildings, and I heard a lot of gossip along the way. On the way, he felt that I was too homely, so he suggested that I go to the bar at the Chunyang Holiday Hotel to have a drink and watch a show. However, I don’t really like places that are too lively, and I don’t intend to change my habits. Although I also admit that the bar is a place where a lot of information can be received. But I think he is right, I still want to go to nature more often.

I also met an aunt who was very talkative. She had a cheerful personality and always charged less fare than others. To ride her car from the county seat to Xiangou, she only charged three yuan per person, while others She charges five yuan. Even if you are alone along the way, she only charges three yuan to send you to Xiangou. Others charge 12-15 yuan. She even uses her tricycle to take guests from Dingcheng to places as far away as Juding, charging 20 yuan. If they take a taxi, it will cost 60 yuan. When I have something on my mind, I always want to sit in her car and feel her peace and indifference. One time I met her taking her daughter out with her. Her daughter was a little bit as talkative as me. Maybe they complement each other, a bit like my mother and me. However, I have traveled to the county three or five times in the past year, and I have never met her once. Maybe business was not good during the epidemic, and she might have found another job.

One time I was carpooling and met a retired Northeastern grandfather who studied mechanics. He told me many stories about his time, including going to the mountains, going to the countryside, taking college entrance exams, etc. I am amazed at the good memory of the older generation. Later, when he got off the bus, he insisted on paying the fare for me. Regarding the matter of paying the fare, I found that many seniors have a kind of chivalry unique to our country, which makes the juniors feel protected by the world, which is very cute. I have been protected by such a simple and chivalrous spirit since I was a child, so I have been a bit unworldly since I was a child. To put it bluntly, I am a bit of an idiot. Being protected is probably a kind of happiness, but not being protected is a kind of experience. In this way, we slowly learn to choose between the two ends of the contradiction.

Another time I took my baby out to read in nature, the kind of place where a big baby takes a little baby to read in the village. It was a little rainy that day, and an aunt shared a car with me. She asked me where I was going, and I told her that I was going to the village to take my child to school. Then she insisted on paying the fare for me. She expressed her support for charity in this way. Therefore, in fact, on the road of charity, you often feel that you are full of strength, probably because of the power of unity.

Regarding charity, I also learned a lot from a grandmother in our village. She can help people heal their injured tendons through massage. She charges 2 yuan each time, but she doesn’t charge more, and it’s okay if she doesn’t pay.

Some time ago, Chen Xiaobao felt some discomfort in his ankle while practicing Taekwondo, but there was no obvious problem. I asked my mother if that grandmother could still have tendons. My mother said that she is very old now and is bedridden and can no longer help people with tendons. I was very disappointed. I feel that such people are our relatives. No matter how alienated they are to keep us apart, I will trust them unconditionally.

For me, apart from my family, I really like AA on the road, because I think two lives should be independent, collide with each other when they meet, share their useful experiences, and then go their separate ways with their own missions. forward. I really like this simple and easy way, where everything is doing its job and thriving.

Bus No. 5 goes to Longzhou and passes Dayangpo Village and Dinghai Bridge along the way. If it's summer, you can choose a sunny morning nearby to explore the lotus pond, look at the lotus flowers and leaves in the small pond, and enjoy the fragrance of the lotus.

Bus No. 6 went to Leiming and passed many villages along the way. I think people along the way must be very grateful for this bus.

To understand a city, you must start to feel it from the setting of its bus lines. This is Pumpkin's point of view.

So, I’ll share it here in this issue, and maybe share about ancient cities and villages in the next issue. I've been there before but didn't retain much information. In order to practice my observation, recording and writing skills, I might try walking again. Thank you.
