Today we will go to Tengchong, a natural health resort with an average altitude of 1,600 meters. It is a world-recognized altitude area for livability and longevity. Tengchong has neither scorching heat in summer nor severe cold in winter. The average annual temperature is 14-16℃. The coldest temperature throughout the year is no less than 0℃ and the highest temperature is no more than 30℃. The forest coverage rate is more than 70%.
The road from Baoshan to Tengchong passes by the Longjiang Bridge, which is very spectacular.
The Longjiang Super Bridge is named for its vertical crossing of the Longjiang River. It has a total length of 2,470 meters and the bridge deck is 280 meters away from the river. It is the largest span steel box girder suspension bridge in the mountainous areas of Asia.

Entering Tengchong
I came to the Tengchong-Aihui China Population Geographic Boundary Line theme park because of its fame. This dividing line is of great geographical and cultural commemorative significance.
On the map of China, the geographical dividing line of China's population starts from Tengchong and Aihui. The eastern region is densely populated, accounting for only 43% of the country's total area, but its population accounts for 94% of the country's total population; while the western region is densely populated. The population is sparsely populated, accounting for 57% of the country's total area, and its population only accounts for 6% of the total population.
This famous geographical dividing line was revealed by the great Chinese geographer Mr. Hu Huanyong in 1935.
