Due to the traffic jam and wasting time on the road, and we had arranged to go to the Danqing Tea House for a tea tasting event at 3:30, so after arriving at the trailhead it was already late and our schedule was very tight; and the male to female ratio for this event was 1/4, so at the beginning I am also very worried that most people may not reach the top. However, it was not as I expected; everyone who arrived at the trailhead late reached the summit on time, and most of them were climbing wild mountains for the first time and rarely climbed mountains. Carrying hot pot dishes, hot pot ingredients, hot pot water, various snacks, pots and other miscellaneous things, it is not easy to arrive late and reach the summit on time.
This event was also the scene of a serious car accident for my brother. Navigate to Chicken Nest 36, yes, it is still 36. After parking the car, walk up the cement road for about 700 to 800 meters. After seeing the large area of fir forest, the trailhead is near here. Follow the trailhead After a gentle hike of five kilometers, you can reach the elevation point. It takes less than one kilometer to reach the top. The overall elevation is about 900 meters, almost all in the last kilometer. The whole process is about 12 kilometers round trip. If you cross it, it will be about 13-14 kilometers.
Less than one kilometer down from Jiwozi 36 is Dongfo Valley. Along Dongfo Valley, you can also reach the alpine meadow. However, when you reach the top, you will pass through a large dense Jianyu Ridge, so you can prepare scarves, Protect your head, face, and arms with a hat and jacket; when you drive to the top of the watershed, you can hike from the top of the watershed to the alpine meadow. Walking is not recommended for beginners, as it is a bit more difficult; for novices, it is recommended to return to Dongpinggou or cross Dongpinggou.
