The "cat winter" vacation to escape the cold in winter is not only in demand for northerners, but also for some so-called south, such as Hangzhou, Nanjing, and even Chengdu. I have been there in winter. Although they are called the south, winter is worse than in the north. They still feel uncomfortable, so "Cat Winter" also has a need for them.
I went to Xishuangbanna in Yunnan in November, went to Hainan Island in December, and came to Beihai in Guangxi in January. At the time of writing this article, the weather conditions are as follows:
Beihai: Overcast, 6-9 degrees
Xishuangbanna: Cloudy to light rain, 11-24 degrees
Sanya: Cloudy, 15-21 degrees
Add another Zhanjiang in Guangzhou
Zhanjiang: Yin, 7-13 degrees.
When I go out to Beihai now, I wear something like this

Uncle Tianda | Sanya, Xishuangbanna, Beihai, which one is better for winter vacation?

The photo was taken at Jianshui Railway Station in Yunnan, please borrow it.

Judging from the cost of vacation (which the local tycoons here consciously ignore), Xishuangbanna is about the same as Beihai, and Sanya is obviously much higher. Of course, you can always find something that suits you if you are rich and frugal.
Sanya has a large flow of people, and it feels like there are people everywhere. Living near Silver Beach in Beihai, it obviously feels very deserted. There are also a lot of people in Xishuangbanna, especially near the scenic spots.
To sum up, if I choose Maodong, I prefer Xishuangbanna. Of course, this is just a personal opinion and has a strong subjective color. Especially Sanya is favored by more people because of the sea.
Finally, I’ll share a joke with you:
Two days ago, a friend left a message in the circle of friends: You fly all over the country all day long, no wonder you are single and have no time to talk to friends. When a girl wants to hang out with you after get off work, you tell her, "Wait for me for a month and I'll go out for a walk." Hahaha, the picture is very strong.
