Sentosa Island

It has the same existence as the ultra-high-end version of Gulangyu Island.

The hotel's breakfast buffet was pretty good. After all, I like not having to go out to have breakfast.

Take the bus directly to Vivo City, a shopping mall near the bay and an important hub to Sentosa. In vivo, you can choose to take the tram (4 SGD) or walk for ten minutes.

It is recommended to walk, the distance is not far, there are tiles to cover your head the whole way, you will not be exposed to the sun, and you can also see the harbor.

There is a fee to go to Sentosa. Taking the tram is included in the tram, taking the cable car is included in the cable car, taking the ferry is included in the ferry, taking a taxi is included in the taxi, and it seems that walking will also charge 1 Singapore dollar. It happened to be for free on the day I went.

The target is Universal Studios Theme Park. Ignore other projects and go straight there. The ticket price is more than 70 Singapore dollars. You can queue up to buy tickets directly on site, or you can pre-purchase online.

Famous amusement parks are crowded no matter what time, so you should queue up. There is a priority lane (additional fee of SGD 30/50), and some even have a single queue, which is great news for singles. There are a total of 6 theme areas. If not every project has to be completed late, half a day is actually enough.

I like Transformer’s 3D simulated battleship the most.

Enter the park after 11 o'clock and close to 12 o'clock, and the shopping is basically finished after 5 o'clock. The last project is an ancient Egyptian indoor roller coaster.

The so-called indoor roller coasters are all indoor sets. Although they are generally not too high or complicated compared to outdoor rides, in the dark you can't see whether there is a sudden drop or a sharp curve ahead. Sometimes the unknown ahead can make people more frightened.

After skydiving in New Zealand, I feel less afraid of heights. But I must have no connection with roller coasters. This time, halfway through the ride, it actually stopped! ! !

Uneasiness and fear filled the air along with the broadcast prompts, and I began to think about various Conan beheading cases and unexpected news overturns. After a long wait, staff came to turn on the emergency lights and organize the exit. Glancing ahead, I saw a sliding lane four or five meters high.

The staff kept apologizing and tried to compensate me with a single ticket for the next day. Such an immature emergency response method is also a bit dumbfounding. After being anxious for a while, I could no longer care. When I came out, it was already dark and the crowds in the garden were almost gone.

It’s still early to close the island, so we continue walking.

There is a Merlion Tower on the island. Visitors can go up to watch the scenery during the day, but its eyes glow green at night, which is really scary.

The legendary "This is a fake Merlion".

Along the route, there is a simulated skydiving experience hall Flyingtrapeze, a cable car station, and a Wings of time laser music fountain show.

The Show ticket price is 16 Singapore dollars and lasts more than 20 minutes. I have seen more visually stunning musical fireworks displays at Disneyland and Chimelong before. So I didn’t think there was anything wrong, but I had the opportunity to play with the camera and kept adjusting the shutter to try to capture different scenes.

Returning to vivo city, there is an observation deck near Marina Bay at the front of the mall.

It is very comfortable to see pairs of pedestrians, or two or three friends, sitting on the big flatbed to rest and chat at night.

And I, after not eating much all day and playing around all day, am so tired that I want to lie down here.

Eating another portion of laksa and mee pok can be said to be a considerate midnight snack.

Mount Faber Mount Faber

After breakfast, check out and head to Sands Hotel.

Check-in time is still two or three in the afternoon. After storing our luggage, we took the subway and went to vivo city to take the cable car.

There are two cable car lines, one going to Siloso Scenic Area and the other going to Mount Faber.

Mount Faber is a hiking route in the city. The mountain is not high, but the resources are well developed. I wanted to go to the Wave Bridge at the top of the mountain. The weather was too humid and hot, so I didn’t want to hike, so I went directly to the cable car. The two-way fare is SGD 29.

After exiting the station, I had to walk a short distance to the Wave Bridge. I walked there, but it was so hot that I didn’t want to walk back to take the cable car. We walked directly down from a trail at the top of the mountain and took a bus back to the city center.

Most of the cable car tickets were wasted, but after all, life is more important.

Lunch is Ya Kun Kaya, a local Nanyang style restaurant chain.

The so-called kaya sauce is actually a local flavor sauce made with eggs, sugar, coconut milk and pandan spices. It is sweet and greasy. In addition, their laksa and curry noodles are also quite famous. The weather is hot and I just want to drink iced drinks, so I haven’t tried it.

In addition, I bought the Bearded Grandpa Puffs next door. The filling sauce is cold, sweet but not greasy, which is very good.

Clarke Quay

I didn't get a good look at it when I arrived on the first day. In fact, it is a bar area along the Singapore River. It doesn't look very special during the day, but the night view is probably more charming.

This is the starting point for today’s city shuttle route.

Cross the bridge and start walking on Hill Street, which is perpendicular to the Singapore River.

First we walked through the River Valley, the old Hill Street Fire Station, and then St. Andrew's Church.

Downstairs at the National Gallery, I was surprised to find a mobike.

The weather is very hot and we are still some distance from Marina Bay. With a trying mentality, I want to try whether the software is universal.

A beep. Unlocked.

It’s like Popeye ate spinach, and his rampage in the city instantly turned into a bicycle ride, stopping and taking pictures.

Pass by Asian Civilizations Museum, then ride over Anderson Bridge, all the way to Merlion Park.

The sun was shining brightly, and the whole city was shining with the sound of bicycle bells ringing all the way.

I really like this feeling.

I also met the legendary (Orchard Road) grandma/grandpa ice cream.

In fact, there is also a choice of toast with ice cream or a cone. The ice cream has various flavors, such as mint, chocolate, Oreo, vanilla, etc. In the end, I chose mango.

The man with a Taiwanese accent selling ice cream saw me riding a Mobike and casually asked me, "How much does it cost to rent your bike for an hour?" I was a little embarrassed. I actually didn’t know. When I saw that the app could unlock the car, I just rode away. I didn’t know the rental price until I locked the car. But in our country, we only charge 1 yuan for half an hour.

I asked again, are there many residents riding shared bicycles here?

The uncle waved his hand and said that in Singapore, this kind of car gets complained all day long because it is parked haphazardly.

Not only do I have to remember what my friend said, Singapore residents are very protective of public order and will actively apply their rights to complain when they see disharmony.
