Singapore Flyer

Every time I go to a city with a cable car or a Ferris wheel, I want to experience it .

Standing high up and taking in the scenery, every Ferris wheel is the eye of the city.

The Flyer carriage is the largest carriage on a Ferris wheel I have ever ridden. Can accommodate 20 people or more. The seats were so far away from the windows that you had to stand the entire time if you wanted to see the view.

At the TOP point, you can have a panoramic view of the entire Marina Bay and enjoy the 45-kilometer scenery. Gardens by the Bay, the ship-shaped building of the Sands Hotel, Changi Beach, Sentosa Island, and even Malaysia and Indonesia.

I think Singapore is a lot like Hong Kong. It has the prosperity and humanity of Hong Kong, but does not have the fast pace and crowding of Hong Kong. No wonder friends who have studied and lived here love it so much.

Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool Marina Bay Sands

When the Ferris wheel came down, the sun was setting.

Crossing the Double Helix Bridge illuminated by the setting sun, we hurried back to the hotel to check in. As soon as I returned to the room, I unpacked my luggage, ignored the clothes flying around, put on my swimsuit and headed to the swimming pool on the top floor of the hotel.

Staying at Sands is for one of the three largest infinity swimming pools in the world.

If the Merlion is a symbol of Singapore, then the sail-like Sands Hotel and its famous infinity pool are another representative presence. When we entered the water, the sun had completely set, leaving only a little afterglow on the horizon. Soon it will be night, the lights will be on, and the city will turn on its charm at night.

I took a picture and showed it to Sasha, and he said, Wow, it is really cool. I want to have a party here.

Laughed.

“Actually some guys are doing now”

Gardens by the Bay Gardens by the Bay (NIGHT)

Went back to the room, changed clothes, and carried the tripod to the Gardens by the Bay.

It's just behind the hotel, about 10 minutes away, just in time for the music and light show in the garden.

The show itself is not amazing, but if you are lying on the marble slab under the giant tree, it will be an amazing experience.

The giant tree jungle itself will not move, nor will the tourists lying down and looking up. But the huge column and the branches at the top will fill the field of vision. The lights are like elves on the column, among the branches, and moving with the music in the night sky.

Everyone is Alice, falling into a magical wonderland.

At this time, both gardening areas are closed.

Although it was already late, there were still many tourists visiting the brightly lit Gardens by the Bay. The view is limited at night. After watching the light show, it is also good to take the elderly and children for a family walk.

Carrying the shelf, I walked back to the Double Helix Bridge.

The ArtScience Museum at night looks like a blooming lotus, the dark night is like a calm lake, and the lights are like stars. I have seen the beautiful scenery of the Pearl River, the Melbourne River, and the Victoria Harbour. Although the night view of Marina Bay is outstanding, it is difficult to evoke a sense of amazement.

I originally wanted to go back to the Merlion to take some night shots, but I was already very tired.

Still in the swimming pool the next day.

Even though I didn’t get much sleep last night, I still set the alarm clock this morning, hoping to capture the first sunrise of 2017 here.

I brushed my teeth, didn't even bother to change my clothes, and went up to the top floor with my breakfast.

It's a pity that the clouds are too thick. I couldn't take the ideal scene, and even the time-lapse I set didn't work because my phone automatically locked the screen midway. Eat breakfast directly on the lounge chair and watch the scenery.

No sun exposure. The weather is cloudy and the temperature is just right.

It was so comfortable that I didn’t want to end this vacation.

Gardens by the Bay Gardens by the Bay (DAY)

Because the return flight was in the evening, I checked out in the morning after cleaning up.

After storing our luggage, we walked to Gardens by the Bay.

The flowers during the day still have a slightly different flavor than those at night, but they still have a strong magical wind.

Cloud forest Cloud forest

After buying the tickets (two-museum package, SGD 28), go to Cloud forest first.

In this trip, the first award is awarded to ION SKY, and the second award is going to this cloud forest.

As soon as you enter the museum, the first thing you see is a super-high indoor waterfall.

It is actually a man-made steel mountain with water pouring down from the highest point. The interior of the mountain is suitable for pedestrians to walk along, which is even interesting. Coupled with the smog from time to time and the low indoor temperature, it feels like walking in a fantasy forest.

Strong 30 star recommendation.

Flower dome Flower dome

This museum is more like a botanical garden, filled with various plant exhibitions and various exotic flowers and plants. At first, I felt that compared to the cloud forest in front, this place was a little monotonous and inferior.

But you still have to dig out interesting things on your own. For example, while walking, you look up and see a dragon.

Or a tiny plant with a face like Mr. Pitao that requires a magnifying glass to see clearly.

Or like I adjusted the exposure and shutter but forgot to adjust them back, and the photos turned out to be weird (because I was shooting strong light the moment before, the shutter was set very fast and the exposure was very low, and the aperture did not move) )

The seemingly ordinary succulent wall is actually a bit obsessive in its arrangement.

The flower garden in the center of the museum is more like arriving in Provence. (Sasha, a 24K pure European, said it looks more like the Netherlands. I don’t know, it’s just that the flowers are beautiful anyway)

Although it wasn't a great performance, it wasn't a disappointment either.

Normally, people are indifferent to flowers and plants, but here they are like a retired veteran cadre taking pictures.

Although I had plenty of time, I didn’t have much to do, so I picked up my luggage and headed to the airport early.

I quite like going to the airport. What's more, is said to have a lot to do and experience, embodies humanistic care, and Changi Airport has been rated the best in the world many times.

What’s exciting is that before boarding the plane, you can also buy a green cake from Bengawan Solo, a famous souvenir in Singapore. The green one is not matcha but variegated leaves. Some people may not like the taste because it is a bit weird. The sponge cake is a bit vegetarian, I recommend the Swiss roll and glutinous rice cake, they are delicious~

Generally speaking, there are still many things to do in Singapore. Both in terms of population and urban heritage, it is a city with strong integration. Many Chinese people here often speak English at first, and then mix it with Mandarin. Later, when they see me speaking Cantonese, communication becomes more casual.

Although it is a country rich in tourism resources, the humanistic services are more formal and professional, rather than the heartfelt enthusiasm of the local residents in Taiwan and New Zealand, and the expression of their sincere love for this land. And I am happy to show its beautiful side.

I have long heard that Singapore is a good place to live and that the government’s various resource subsidies are in place. But among the white-collar workers walking in high-rise buildings, and in the demeanor and words of taxi drivers, there is also a sense of fatigue under pressure.
