The sixth day of Chengdu tour on October 20, 2020
We got up at around five o'clock in the morning and had a quick bite. A car came to pick us up at the hotel. We were all retail investors and gathered at the bus. At around six o'clock, we got on the bus and headed to Jiuzhaigou. After more than five hours of driving, I had to catch up on some sleep in the car.
We signed up for a group tour, a three-day tour, with food, accommodation, and tickets in charge. It cost more than 300 yuan per person, which felt quite cost-effective. Today we first arrived at Huanglong and gradually entered the Sichuan-Tibet area. It snowed heavily yesterday in Huanglong and today it is completely white.
I had a hasty meal at noon. Don’t expect the tour group’s meal to be good, just be full. I didn't even bother to eat until I was full, it was so unpalatable. After a while, the tour guide started to charge. The cable car fee plus insurance plus insurance for Jiuzhaigou tomorrow is 120 yuan per person, and those who do not take the cable car will be charged 30 yuan. I can't climb mountains because my knees are damaged and I have to take the cable car.
After a while, we stopped the car again, and the tour guide said that we must listen to Tibetan doctors to explain some knowledge on Huanglong. A female Tibetan doctor got on the car and talked about the dangers of altitude sickness. It was very dangerous. Then she took out a box of medicine, which contained two bottles of oral liquid. , I don’t believe it, so I won’t buy it. The Tibetan doctor pointed at an old man in his seventies and said, "You are in danger. If you don't buy this medicine, there will be consequences at your own risk." The old man also doesn't believe in evil and doesn't want to take the cable car, so he plans to climb up.
When you arrive at the scenic spot, the car will pull you to the entrance of the cable car. If you don't take the cable car, you have to walk several kilometers to the entrance of the scenic spot.
At around two o'clock in the afternoon, we lined up to get on the cable car, and we were suddenly on a high mountain with an altitude of more than 4,000 meters. As soon as we got off the cable car, we saw someone fainting on the ground. People were rescuing people and taking oxygen. There was a woman with slanted eyes. Hey, get some oxygen there.
If something doesn't happen to you, you won't care about it even if you take a look at it. The road was slippery and wet, but some tourists were fine and cheered when they saw the snow-capped mountains. My sister and I didn’t feel anything at all at first, so we walked cautiously on the road paved with sacks. A Tibetan was collecting the sacks. He yanked it so hard that a passerby almost slipped. The tourist said: If you collect the sacks now, the tourists will drop them. The Tibetan said: I will knock you to death! I'll beat you to death! My feeling at that time was: No matter how much incense you burn or how many times you kowtow, Bodhisattva may not bless you. You must have a heart to save all sentient beings, be kind to everyone around you, and treat everyone around you with kindness. The Buddha's thoughts are carried forward and are stronger than anything else.
As I walked, I felt more and more uncomfortable, with palpitation, headache, nausea, sweating, and the urge to defecate. I didn't dare to go to the toilet for fear that if I did, I would die. After walking and walking, my sister quickly gave me the medicine she bought. I felt that I was still not feeling well. I ate some food, but it still didn’t feel good. I also took medicine for the heart, but it still wasn’t working. I kept walking and wanted to go back and take the cable car. , I have already walked half the distance. I walked down hard, not daring to stop. When I stopped, it was freezing cold to the bone. As I walked, I heard the people behind me falling down with a thunderbolt. When I reached the Wucai Pond, , I can’t even open my eyes.
My sister held me up and carried my bag. No matter how beautiful the scenery was, I couldn’t open my eyes to see it. At that time, I really wanted to lie down on the ground and die in this beautiful scenery. I thought I would never get out of Huanglong. I will die here. I was afraid of scaring my sister, so the people next to me said, you must not fall asleep, you must hold on.
It was eight o'clock in the evening, and the road was dark and slippery. We both rolled and climbed. I don't know what strength and perseverance we relied on to walk down the mountain. After leaving the entrance of the scenic spot, half of my arms were numb and I had no feeling. My tears stopped. He couldn't stop flowing, and his whole body slumped in his seat. I didn’t even eat dinner, so I went to the hotel and fell into bed, unable to get up. I woke up later in the night feeling much better.
However, our hearts are always flustered and uncomfortable. After returning home, my sister was hospitalized. This is a story for another day.
The next day, I asked about half of the people on the cable car who didn’t get on. There was a young man from Shanghai in our group who fainted as soon as he got off the cable car. But the seventy-year-old man was fine. He climbed up the mountain and climbed down again without drinking the Tibetan medicine. Everyone is different. I felt sick for several days after returning home.
During this trip to Huanglong, I feel that people should stop saying what I plan to do when I get old. Don’t wait until you get old to make all your plans. When you get old and you can’t eat or walk anymore, take advantage of the opportunity. In your good years, do whatever you want to do quickly. Many people have no future, and many people cannot wait until they grow old. I originally wanted to go to Aden and Daocheng, but it seems that I won’t be able to go to places with high mountains and high altitudes in the future. Fortunately, I went to Seda, Tibet a few years ago. When I went to Seda, I had a very strong reaction. It happened that our car broke down in Seda. We stayed in Seda for two days. I lay in bed for two days and couldn't get up. After two days, I had nothing to do. I wanted to go to Tibet. La, Huanglong is nothing! Who knew that I almost fell into Huanglong.
The trip to Huanglong left me with lingering fears!
