On the fourth day of the Lunar New Year, I visited Hongluo Temple in Huairou.
Hongluo Temple is on a mountain, not far from Huairou County. Because it is the Chinese New Year period, everything is full of joy and red lanterns can be seen everywhere.
As soon as you enter the gate, you will see a large bamboo forest in front of you. Walking along the bamboo path, there will be signboards for various scenic spots.
Hongluo Temple is named after the legend of the Hongluo Fairy, so we first headed in the direction of Hongluo Pond.

After passing the Money Eye is the Red Snail Pond.
Before I arrived, I heard the sound of water rushing. There is a pavilion standing high next to Hongluo Pond, with "Hongluo Spring" written on it. The water flows out from under the pavilion. The slow water gives me a cool feeling.
There are two white red snail fairy statues standing in the middle of the pool. They each step on a small red snail, which is lifelike and vivid.
There are two small red snail-shaped houses beside the pool. They are not particularly small, and the space can accommodate several adults. You can enter and play through the stone steps above the water.
The two red snails are connected. My friends and I had a lot of fun traveling between them.

Passing through Hongluo Pond, you will arrive at the ancient temple area.
The most important thing here are the numerous Buddha statues and temples where people can pray. These Buddha statues come in different sizes and shapes. How many skilled craftsmen are needed to build them? Even if you don’t pray for blessings, it’s still worth seeing!
To the east of the ancient temple area is the Zodiac Garden. There are many zodiac statues made of stones in the Zodiac Garden, which are very lifelike!
Going further, we chose Qingnian Road, the easternmost part of the scenic spot, to go up the mountain. After reaching the top of the mountain, we felt a little tired. I wanted to take the cableway down the mountain, I waited in line for a long time, and finally got on the cableway and went down the mountain.
