Beijing Phoenix Ridge is located in Sujiatuo, Haidian District, and is a national AAAA scenic spot. "The scenery in the outer suburbs, the roads in the inner suburbs, Beijing's natural oxygen reservoir!" is the general characteristic of Fenghuangling Natural Scenic Area. The scenic spot is located in the northwest of Haidian District, 51 kilometers away from Tiananmen Square in a straight line, with a total area of 10.62 square kilometers. It is a pure land given to mankind by nature and an ideal place for sightseeing, vacations and meetings.

In May last year, I climbed alone once, taking the middle line and descending the north line. Also in May this year, I teamed up with my colleagues from the company to climb Phoenix Ridge in Beijing. This time we took the northern route, which was shorter than the last trip from the central route to the northern route.
Since it is still during the epidemic, you need to scan the code to register your health status and buy tickets, then queue up to show the QR code after purchasing the ticket, and scan the code to pass. The adult fare is still 25 yuan. You can pay by scanning the QR code on WeChat. You don’t have to queue at the window, which is very convenient.
After entering, go straight for the center line, turn left for the south line, and turn right for the north line. After turning right, walk straight along the road for a few hundred meters. On the way, I met a cat and other colleagues were teasing it. But when he saw me packing the bags with food, the cat hurried to me and wanted to eat. Everyone gathered around the cat to take pictures, play with it and give it food.
The first scenic spot on the mountain is Shenquan. Some people come here to collect water from the spring for consumption. There were not many tourists today and not many people were collecting water, so I was able to take an unobstructed photo.
Going further, there is the Immortal Footprints attraction. There are a few footprint-like indentations on an upright stone, not to mention it looks quite similar.
Another standing stone looks like a foot. However, there is no sign to introduce it, so you can use your imagination.
Peak Love Stone, two stones dependent on each other, a tragic legend. It is said that at the foot of Fenghuangling Mountain, the son and daughter of two wealthy families fell in love at first sight and fell in love with each other. However, the parents of both parties disagreed and strongly opposed it, so the two prayed to heaven, stayed together for the rest of their lives, and then set themselves on fire. Later, the two turned into two stones in the fire, and they have been inseparable ever since.
Continuing forward, you reach a fork in the road. On the left is a highly difficult route with a ladder, which is a path with steps carved out of the rock. On the right is a less difficult route with paved steps that are gentler. After discussion, we decided to take the more challenging ladder.
There is a pavilion not far away when you go up. Looking back, you can see the "Jade Rabbit Stone" scenic spot. If you look closely, you can see that they are quite similar, lifelike.
The Sky Staircase is the steepest section of the northern line. First, climb a 60-degree stone staircase. After going up, there is a small platform. There is also a stone cave here, which is the "Xiuxian Cave" attraction. After that, we have to climb a stone staircase that is almost 90 degrees and has a rotating stone staircase. This section of the road is the most thrilling and will make your legs weak for those who are timid.
There is also a 90-degree rotating ladder, which is not for the faint of heart. Anyway, when I climbed, my legs were a little weak, so I held on to the chain tightly and climbed up, worried that I might accidentally fall.
The Immortal Cultivation Cave seems to be a place where immortals practice.
After passing the ladder, you can walk on the stone steps, which is much easier to walk.
Before reaching the Feilai Stone Tower at the top of the northern line, there are other scenic spots such as "Gongbao Stone Village" and "Yangshan Pass". Finally reaching the top, there is a flying stone tower above. Feilai Stone Pagoda, also known as Grouting Stone Pagoda, is the highest scenic spot in Fenghuangling Scenic Area, with an altitude of 748 meters. The tower is 2.95 meters high and is a 7-story hexagonal small tower. There is also a large platform at the top for tourists to rest.
From the top of the stone tower attraction, walk forward and pass by the "Tantric Tower".
It was quite late to go down the mountain, so I didn’t pay attention to the sightseeing anymore and just walked by in a hurry. There are two distinctive places on the way, one is the "Baita Reservoir" and the other is the "Longquan Temple" in the distance.
Longquan Temple is located at the foot of Fenghuangling Mountain in the West Mountain of Beijing. It is a Han Buddhist temple that was built in the early years of the Liao Dynasty. This time I didn’t pass by Longquan Temple, I just took photos from a distance.
While resting in the pavilion on the way down the mountain, I met a beautiful cat. There are many wild cats on Fenghuangling, and tourists even put cat food for them to eat.
Finally, here are two photos of the Phoenix Mountains.
This mountain climbing can be said to be a "foodie trip". Teacher Zeng prepared a lot of food and drinks. He started eating all the way up the mountain before he went up the mountain. He kept eating and eating while going up the mountain. After reaching the top of the mountain, we set out delicious food and ate. After going down the mountain, we went to the colorful city of Meizhou Dongpo to have dinner again.
Thank you, Teacher Zeng, and my fellow colleagues.
