2, Famous Taoist MountainsWeibao Mountain

Weibaoshan is famous as the birthplace of Nanzhao and the holy land of Taoism. It is one of the famous mountains in southwest China and has been recorded in historical records of past dynasties.

There are more than 20 palaces and temples on the north and south sides of the main peak, among which Qingwei, Doumu Pavilion, Peihe Tower and Changchun Cave are the largest. There is a large temple in the palace complex named Xunshan Hall, which worships Xinuluo, the first-generation Tuzhu God. It is different from other famous Taoist mountains.

There are 22 Qing Dynasty Taoist temples built on Weibao Mountain, which are large in scale and exquisite in construction craftsmanship.

The natural vegetation of Weibaoshan is well preserved. From the mountainside to the top of the mountain, it is covered with lush pines and cypresses and various broad-leaved forests, including many ancient and famous trees, such as alpine castanopsis that can be hugged by a person, rare tree species such as cloud-head cypress and wild camphor.

The ancient camellia in front of the Zhujun Pavilion (Ling Palace) is a relic of the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. It is 15 meters high and 28 centimeters thick. It has grown for more than 300 years and is still standing tall and graceful. In early spring and February, hundreds of flowers bloom. It's as big as a bowl and as red as rouge. Walking in Weibao Mountain is refreshing and unforgettable.

3. I saw beautiful paintings in a palace and showed a few of them.
I saw a middle school student copying a painting in a palace, and learned that the master was a Taoist priest from the palace. Looking around the palace, the paintings were very beautiful. Here are a few shown.
