I used to see the very beautiful Ranwu Lake on the Internet, but when we went there for the first time, it didn’t bring us much surprise. It was very ordinary, so we once suspected that the pictures on the Internet were the product of excessive color correction. But the next few times I went to Ranwu completely changed my first impression of her. My friend said that the most beautiful Ranwu Lake must be seen before May, but I disagree with him. Ranwu is beautiful and distinctive no matter what season it is. It depends on whether you can appreciate its beauty. .

The word Ranwu means "corpse piled together" in Tibetan. According to legend, a buffalo once lived in Ranwu Lake, and an ox lived on the shore of the lake. The two cattle were aggressive and refused to give in to each other, and they often fought against each other. After the two cows died, their bodies turned into mountains on the shore of the lake, sandwiching Ranwu Lake between the two mountains. Like many sacred mountains and holy lakes in Tibet, this is the legend of Ranwu Lake. It is not thrilling, but it is It has been recited by people by the lake. Of course this is just a legend, although this legend is not so beautiful.

We went to Ranwu during the dry season for this shooting. Looking from a high altitude, we can clearly see the bottom of the shallow lake. The patches of yellow soil are like dyes painting its beauty.
