Day 6 Mount Everest-Shigatse

Get up in the morning and crawl out into the village to find a place to pee.

This village at the foot of Mount Everest has a toilet in the middle.

Because it is a dry toilet, in order not to dig a pit, we did the opposite and built the toilet higher.

You have to go up the stairs before going to the toilet. The wall above is only half a meter high, which gives a sense of openness. Naturally, lesbians complained.

But after taking photos of the Milky Way the night before, it was very artistic to go to the toilet under the sky full of stars.

In short, even though it is such a bad toilet, lesbians still line up to use it, so the men can only go there wherever they want.

After walking down, I found that this village is very classical, with walls painted with dung.

I wonder if the boiled water we drank last night was also made from cow dung.

I didn't know what the purpose of the stone building was. I thought it looked good and walked around it. I saw a guy next to me who was opening the door, which made me feel a little embarrassed.

Breakfast was still white porridge, but this time there were no steamed buns, pickled vegetables and eggs.

By the way, the group breakfast this time was the unbeatable white porridge, pickled mustard, egg and steamed buns, which we ate for six days.

After eating, go to Shigatse. The only attractions on this day are the 108 Bend Observation Deck and the Tashilhunpo Temple in Shigatse.

Fortunately, with God's help, Mount Everest finally came out.

You can directly see Turn 108 from the observation deck.

Put the above two together into a photo that includes both Mount Everest and the winding mountain road.

After watching the tour heading east, all the group members and drivers remained silent, probably because they were too tired to talk.

When I left the gate of the scenic spot, I saw a couple riding a bicycle with a small trailer and a child in tow. I felt that they had gone too far.

Tashilunluo Temple is in Shigatse City, not far from the hotel where we stayed.

A group of us hired a tour guide and started walking around.

I wasn't really looking forward to it, but as soon as I entered the door, I realized I was wrong. This temple can be found.

There are cats everywhere. They are neither clingy nor afraid of people. They can be petted without any resistance at all, which is great.

Of course the temple itself is amazing.

There is a big Buddha in one hall, which is quite tall.

It was explained that the Buddha's nostrils could accommodate a child of seven or eight years old.

"Why would a seven- or eight-year-old child get into the Buddha's nostrils?" Later, a boy from the same group asked me in surprise. Naturally, I was also confused.

There is also such a white-walled building on the mountainside of Sera Monastery. I don’t know what it is used for.

After explaining and walking around several halls, the tour group arrived to have a group meal. The guy who was traveling with me asked me if I wanted to walk around for a while longer.

So I followed my brother and walked through the places that Zashi had not visited. It was also a kind of romance to have the map fully open.

My brother took pictures while walking around, and I petted the cat while walking around. I was in a great mood.

After visiting the temple, there was a pedestrian street and we continued shopping.

There are basically specialty shops and various jewelry stores on both sides.

I saw some people gambling on dice on the roadside. Sure enough, people from all over the world like to gamble.

I entered a Tibetan restaurant, glanced at the Tibetan menu, and walked away.

Went into another Tibetan restaurant, again with a Tibetan menu.

The guy who was traveling with me plucked up the courage and asked if there was a Chinese menu.

There is also a Chinese menu, but when the guy asked about the specific dishes, he couldn't explain them.

A pot of butter tea costs 12 yuan. The taste is okay, but it has a salty taste that I still can't get used to.

Later I ordered yak dumplings, curry potatoes, and yak meat sauce.

The dumplings are naturally fine except that the meat is a bit hard, and so are the potatoes.

As for the meat sauce, the boss lady explained that it is made from leftover yak meat.

We don’t even understand what leftover meat is.

But the meat sauce was cold and didn't taste like meat. It might have been eaten as a pretense.

After eating, I found a little kitten in the store, so I picked it up and sucked it. It was a great review.
