The original destination was Sichuan Prairie, but due to mudslides, the destination was changed to nearby Lishui. This casual birthday trip, like Pandora's box, opened up the little friends' desire and pursuit of nature and freedom.

Departing from Shanghai, we are greedy for Starbucks coffee, so we chose the whole journey from Shanghai to Kunming, which takes about 5.5 hours to reach Lishui.

Lishui went there on an impromptu trip, but was moved by her unexpected beauty.

Suichang Gold Mine National Mining Park is located in the northeast of Suichang County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, just 10 kilometers away from Longli Expressway. Suichang Gold Mine began gold mining as early as the Tang Dynasty and is the earliest known underground mining site of vein gold deposits in the world. From the Song Dynasty to the end of the Ming Dynasty, mining was carried out intermittently in all dynasties. The scenic area is divided according to the Tang, Song and Ming Dynasties, and it takes about 2 hours to walk around.

This is a surprise attraction that combines multiple functions. When I come to Lishui, I feel like I have not fulfilled my responsibility if I don’t see the rice terraces. For those who have been to rice terraces, looking at photos is always more shocking than experiencing them in person. Because this trip was not for photography, I gave up the beautiful clouds and terraced fields and chose Nanjian Rock, which combines many scenery.

Fascinated by the covered bridge in Taishun, the dog slave accidentally discovered Qingyuan and couldn't help being shocked. If Taishun is famous for its covered bridges, then Qingyuan has the largest number, the longest history, and the most consistent history of covered bridges in the country. Yueshan Village is a beautiful village hidden in Qingyuan Mountain.

Yueshan Village is named for its topography. It has six ancient corridor bridges. Most of the people in the village have the surname Wu. Since the Song Dynasty, there have been outstanding people with literary virtues and martial arts. There are more than 200 people with official status. A small river passes through Yueshan Village. Choose accommodation by the river, fall asleep listening to the gurgling water at night, and enjoy a spiritual song from nature.

The friends stayed in Yueshan Village for 2 days and 1 night. During this period, it rained heavily. The village seemed to be covered with a veil, and the covered bridges and flowing water were like walking in a landscape painting.

Chai Bak returns to nature

Chai Dianping: Driving into the village from the county seat, the road conditions are good, the road surface is wide, and the distance is short. It takes about 2 hours to enter the county seat. You can drive in from the direction of Jingning. The 4-hour winding mountain trail passes through many quiet and simple villages, which is another experience. On this section of the road, near Yueshan Village, some mountain roads can only accommodate one vehicle, and must be driven by drivers who are familiar with the winding mountain roads.

 

When passing by Jingning County, I was amazed at the investment of the local government. The entire city construction is full of exotic style, and the county is like a big garden. It was a pity that the small group passed her by as she was on the road. After leaving the city, drive towards Yueshan Village. There is a promenade that stretches for several kilometers (right picture below). It is quite artistic to walk among the mountains and rivers.

 

 

There are no gas stations within 50 kilometers of Yueshan Village. There are only "gas tanks" provided by Sanliang roadside shops to meet unexpected needs. The nearest gas station is in Qingyuan County. Remember to prepare enough gasoline before entering the village.

Guyan Huaxiang, in fact, is composed of two parts: Guyan and Huaxiang, with Zhenjiang River as the boundary, facing each other from a distance. I originally thought that the painting town would be similar to Lijiang, Dali, Fenghuang and other ancient cities, with accommodation, dining and entertainment, but it turned out to be a neither long nor short street. The painting village is called Dagangtou Village. Although it is no longer the original ecology, it has not developed into a cookie-cutter small commodity store. There are restaurants, but there are no overwhelming bars. Galleries can be seen everywhere, and there are many students and painters who come to sketch and paint. On the opposite bank is the ancient weir, that is, Yantou Village. Unlike Huaxiang, this place has more traces of time. On days when there are fewer tourists, walking in the village, looking at Tongji Weir in the distance, and listening to the sound of the river is really impressive. There is an illusion of going back in time.

 

 

Chai Dianping: The "ancient weir" Yantou Village is the sceneries being painted, while the "painting town" Gangtou Village is the place where painters sketched from life.

 

Gangtou Village is more popular and has better accommodation and dining facilities. There is nothing to see in the village. You can take a walk along the river in the morning. When my friends settled down in 2017, the scenic area was under construction, dusty and the overall feeling was not clean enough. If you plan to stay in "Guyan Painting Township", there are also B&Bs in Yantou Village, but it is still recommended to stay in Gangtou Village because it is more convenient to move around. In the morning, there are boats that shuttle between the two sides of the strait. It takes about an hour to drive back and forth in a large circle. When the group went there, the small island in the middle of the two sides of the strait was under development, and it is estimated that it may have become another attraction now.

 

The fee-charging facilities in the Yantou Village Scenic Area are more rigorous than those in Huaxiang on the other side, and the planning of the scenic area is also more complete, with pavilions, pavilions and parks all complete. There was a typhoon on the day the small group arrived, and the scenic spot was open for free. There were no tourists in the huge scenic area, and there was only a TV crew from Hangzhou filming a documentary. The calm before the storm, century-old banyan trees, moss paths, and icy blue sky are like walking into a cold-toned oil painting.

 

 

Summary

Lishui is a hilly landform with undulating terrain, and most areas are surrounded by greenery, making it very suitable for jungle teams like Chaibak to travel. Some mountains have large altitude differences. Therefore, the temperature difference between morning and evening is also large. During the rainy season or typhoon season, even in summer, you will feel the slightest chill.

It is recommended that slaves prepare a light coat when traveling; masters are advised to bring cool clothes to prevent heatstroke even if they are under the shade of a cool tree in the bitter summer.

The soil and water support the people. You must understand the local comprehensive environment, and do not think that in a simple countryside, everyone will be happy to receive pets. Lishui can be said to be a paradise for furry children. Basically, all restaurants are open to pets.

When traveling with a furry child, the most worrying thing is food and accommodation. Always reserve a B&B in advance to ensure that pets are allowed and related cleaning fees are charged.

Play in Suichang, but most of your accommodation is in Songyang. You can find many Songyang B&Bs online, many with high-end design styles. It’s best to ask in advance whether pets are allowed before departure. The terrace near the water where the small group stayed was a B&B with a story.

The boss and his wife are one from Taiwan and the other from Shandong. The two met through the Internet, and later the Shandong boy was assigned to manage a B&B in Songyang. After the Taiwanese girl, who was tired of the fast-paced life in Shanghai, resigned, she chose Songyang as the first stop of her farewell trip. During the trip, the two people who had never met before hit it off. In the end, the first stop of the journey became the important last stop in life. The two chose to stay in Xiangxi Village, an ancient village built in the Tang Dynasty and one of the earliest villages in southern Songyang County.

On the first night, the small group held a small 2nd birthday celebration for the boss and brother Ah Fu in the restaurant area of ​​the B&B, attracting the attention of the boss's wife and other guests.

Soon a tunnel will be opened from the Fujian border directly to Yueshan Village. The whole village is ready for this moment, with accommodations and receptions everywhere. When the group arrived, the accommodation of these original residents was empty out of ten rooms, because the influx of tourists had not yet arrived. It was only us, a group of five people and three dogs, who drove through the rugged mountain road to this beautiful village hidden in the mountains. Xi'antu should be regarded as a relatively modern B&B in the area. As its name suggests, it is located next to the stream and the sound of the water is quite loud. It is definitely not poetic and picturesque. If you mind, you should find another place to stay.

Behind the accommodation is a hillside, and over it is Fujian. There are various crops along the way, as well as old pavilions and small temples. Because it is 100% original, there are snakes on the road, so you need to pay attention to safety.

The boss is free and easy, the pet is friendly, and the inn is warm. This is Samsara Inn. This is the product of a Chongqing girl named Xia Xiaolou who rested in Lishui after becoming homeless. She adopted a little white female dog named Xiaolu, and she saw it off when she left, bidding farewell to her masters. There are two inns in the small building, one is on an uninhabited island, and the other is reincarnation in the painting town. There are only three rooms in Samsara, and if the group stays, they will get a private room. There is a bar downstairs. Since Huaxiang has a small flow of people, there are not many customers at night. Most of them are Xiaolou's own friends.

Since the climate in Linjiang and Liandu District is relatively hot and humid, there will be flying little beasts appearing in summer. Children in the south are not surprised, so I would like to remind you.

Beautiful wine is indispensable

The construction of Lishui Highway is pretty good. Except for the section into Yueshan Village, the basic difficulty level is not high. On Yueshan Village Road, the boss, who has never been prone to motion sickness, vomited five times in a row due to the many curves. Children who are prone to motion sickness should be careful.
