This route connects the two greatest masters of Tibetan Buddhism - Tsongkhapa and Padmasambhava, so it can be called a meaningful ancient pilgrimage route, and the scenery along the way is beautiful (if the season is suitable, Otherwise, it is a pure abuse route), and the terrain is so changeable that this ancient pilgrimage road, which was originally unknown to the world, has become one of the classic hiking routes.

Ganden Monastery

Located on Wangbori Mountain at an altitude of 3,800 meters in Datse District, Lhasa City, Wangbori Mountain is like a lying giant elephant. The temple stands next to the mountain with overlapping buildings, which is majestic and majestic. It is the most special temple among the six major temples of the Yellow Sect. It was personally planned and built in 1409 by Master Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It can be said to be the ancestral temple of the Gelug Sect, and Drepung Monastery. , Sera Temple are collectively known as the "Three Major Temples" in Lhasa, and their status in Buddhism is equivalent to Tsinghua University in our mainland.

Samye Temple

Located in Samye Town, Zhanang County, Shannan Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region, the central Buddhist hall in the temple has Tibetan, Han, and Indian styles, so Samye Temple is also called the Three Styles Temple. It was built in the 8th century AD during the Tubo Dynasty. Trisong Detsen, who was then Zanpu, believed in Buddhism. He invited two Buddhist masters from India, Shantarakshita and Padmasambhava, to Tibet to promote Buddhism and decided to build it for them. A monastery, so Samye Monastery is the first formal monastery in Tibet with the Three Treasures of Buddha, Dharma and Sangha, and has a lofty status in the Tibetan Buddhist world. In the mid-9th century, after Langdama exterminated Buddhism, Tubo banned the spread of Buddhism, and Samye Monastery was also banned. After it was reopened in the late 10th century, it became the central temple of the Nyingma Sect (Red Sect).

❤Preparation before departure: making dried vegetables

In the past, I often suffered from nosebleeds due to lack of vitamins on the road. Now my teammates and I have learned to make homemade dried vegetables, which are light and easy to carry, and will also provide more wonderful fun on the harsh routes. It just so happened that the teammates who hiked together last year gathered together in Lhasa again, and tomorrow we will challenge the road that was not completed in March this year🚶🏻

–Taken on 2020.3

In March, the ancient pilgrimage road was covered in ice and snow. Two-thirds of the time was spent walking at an altitude of more than 5,000 meters. There was no vegetation and no firewood. You had to take a break after taking ten steps, otherwise you would not be able to breathe. In June, the vegetation is lush and the scenery is beautiful. The difficulty of the same road is greatly reduced.

– Customary pre-departure shooting

Half of the interesting life is mountains, rivers, lakes and seas.

Day 1:5.25

Lhasa – Ganden Monastery – Heibu Village – Shukala Pass – Xia Pass – Campsite Accommodation: Camping (elevation 5050 meters, with water source)

I walked for two days today, and I feel like I can breathe easier than in March. I also felt in good condition and had enough energy when I climbed the pass. After walking around the Manidui at the pass three times, I still couldn't bear to leave the hada here, and I thought about hanging it in Zanadui. I am a bit of a weird person, and I like this kind of route that is more brutal and has no scenery. I feel that I can see more human things, so choose someone who agrees with you to go together. If there is no one, then go alone.

My teammates were in high spirits on the first day of hiking, but they were so high on the second day. In high-altitude areas (walking above 5,000 meters), it is recommended that you bring: glucose, commonly used medicines, baby warmers, fleece, jackets and pants, a few spare pairs of thick socks, a sleeping bag with a temperature of -20-30 degrees Celsius, and a raincoat (necessary in the rainy season).

❤Recording everyone’s status after getting off the pass on the first day:

I cherish the people I travel with every time more than the scenery on the road. The night before this departure, a senior told me to be careful during the rainy season. Unexpectedly, I encountered the biggest hailstorm in my life when I was walking down the pass. The dense hailstones were getting bigger and bigger, and it hurt when I hit them. We got into our clothes and shoes, and we were soaked to the skin. The wind blew and it hurt so much that we could have just ran down the mountain. But because of the weather, we still slowly climbed down the mountain. Almost all our teammates lost feeling in their legs and hands. It’s very scary to think about it now. To some extent, we were lucky. Hail, heavy snow, and heavy rain. At 8 o'clock, we went down the mountain and found a house where herdsmen stored cow dung. We relied on collecting rainwater and snow to boil water for cooking. Our teammates were so cold that they had high fever. Both teammates were It was so uncomfortable that I hung the tent light on the wire and listened to their heavy breathing. I was still worried about this situation. I prepared 💊 and prayed that everyone would be in better condition tomorrow and prepared what to do if the condition was not good. Prepare.

strong consciousness,

It can stimulate some deep-level potential of matter,

This makes the fragile body become indestructible,

Sufficient to cope with any dangerous environment.

Day2:5.26

Camp – Zanadui – Chitula Pass – Temporary Camp Accommodation: Camping (elevation 5120 meters, with water source)

My teammates were not in very good condition this morning, and they still had high fever and headaches. After taking medicine, they could only take a short rest in the morning and wait for the sun to come out to dry their clothes and pants before setting off. I only walked for half a day today, but I arrived at Zhanadui, which was my favorite place, and hung my hada here. My wish was fulfilled. I spent half a day walking above 5,000 meters today. I was more out of breath and tired than climbing over the pass. Qingdehe, when we were about to reach the pass, a teammate sat on the ground and refused to leave. My temper made me scold him. I have been friends for many years and I knew very well that he didn’t want to hold us back. Unfortunately, due to the high altitude, he still had some hypersensitivity this time, but no matter what happens, I will not leave anyone behind. This principle will not change because of any danger or situation. The three sacred lakes at the pass are extremely beautiful. We camped temporarily at the pass. This temporary camp was the most unsuitable for camping, but we still slept soundly. 👻

Although today's temporary camp is extremely unsuitable for camping (you can't tell from the photo, in fact the ground is full of ditches, there is only this small piece of flat land, and the other third is built on rocks. The ground is extremely soft, as if it had been rained heavily. It would make us sink one third of the water), but it was still very warm for everyone huddled together. It was still raining heavily at night as expected. Fortunately, we had calculated the rain time and were lying in the warm bed at the moment. In the sleeping bag, I listened to the snoring of my teammates in the tent next door. Knowing that my teammates' high reflexes were less severe tonight, I calmly turned off the tent lights, closed my eyes and listened quietly to the sound of the wind and my inner voice.

Day3:5.26

Temporary camp – Chanda Village – Longguo Village – Samye Monastery – Lhasa

The altitude dropped all the way today and the walk was very comfortable. However, there are more rivers this season. I kept crossing rivers and found a faster way. I finally changed from climbing to running down the mountain. Many people will ask me whether there will be any adverse effects on the body in Tibet. If you just come here for fun, it won’t have any impact. It’s okay to stay in Lhasa for a long time. However, the climate is dry and people will grow rougher. A person’s life should not be measured only by length. Depth is more important. If you are unhappy in your life , what’s the point of living for ten thousand years?

❤Recording the grassland pasture and teammates along the way:

Teammate Saita – a little beauty. We started walking together last year. We are teammates with the same ideas. We have raised horses at home since we were young. We have an innate closeness with big and small animals, which has added a lot of fun along the way. , no matter how painful it is, it will be resolved by this happiness.

Teammate Tang Chang – I am a kid. I have known each other for many years and have walked many routes together. I don’t have much reloading experience. Although I am young, I take great care of everyone on the road and help everyone carry as much food as possible.

Teammate Lao Bei – I have a group of black brothers who have been living in Africa all year round. I have been friends for many years. I come to Tibet every year, but this time I had a rare high-altitude rebellion. I was laughed at, beaten, and encouraged all the way. I probably never want to be with me again. They walked together, it hurts the face too much, haha.

The opinions of the majority of people in this world are often not necessarily correct. If they were all correct, the world would be so boring. Let's get out of the house together and listen to the dawn.

Herdsmen will cut off half of the tail hair of each yak, twist it into a rope by hand, and then make it into a blanket or tent.

Canopy for heating, very beautiful, comfortable and warm❤

Walking on the ancient pilgrimage road - grassland pasture, watching Tibetan Ajia constantly shaking the prayer wheel, listening to her endless murmur about the past and present time. The sun kissed deep marks on her face, but her eyes were shining with eternal light. She believed and was forever grateful to God for his love for her.

In this grassland pasture,

We exchanged Tibetan names with each other,

But there is really no need to leave my name,

Names don't matter to me.

There is no signal here 📶,

They change places to graze every 2-3 months.

Looking at the few photos and videos stored in my phone,

I also want to share this happiness with us,

Looking at the smile on Ajia’s face,

I know she loves days like this from the bottom of her heart,

She likes the herd of cows and horses that accompany her,

She likes this man who is always by her side.

Are you willing to come to this simple, pure, happy day without too much money, no desire, and no signal?
