The snow stopped before falling asleep, and after a few turns, the time was up. Wearing a jacket, pants, safety belt, crampons, and gloves is a very painful process for those who are new to this altitude. All movements in a hypoxic environment will make you breathless, and you may even do familiar procedures incorrectly.

Everyone's hearts were warm in the cold early morning air. In the dark night there were only the sounds of the collision of equipment, the crunch of footsteps on the snow, and the whispers of everyone talking quietly. Nervous, excited, and exciting emotions filled the snowy night.
According to the process explained in advance, everyone formed a team and started to set off. On one side of the team members was the leader, who accompanied the team members slowly upward at certain intervals.
The basic pace of high-altitude marching is called "mountain climbing rest step". It requires a low-speed and rhythmic march, with each step and breath matching. The reason why it is slow is to ensure smooth coordination between breathing and steps. Otherwise, if the breathing rhythm is accelerated, the pace will not be able to keep up. , the multiple pauses and breaks caused by this make physical energy consumption faster and less efficient. In line with the old saying, "Slow travel up the mountain", high-altitude mountaineering emphasizes discipline, planning and rhythm, rather than flamboyant personal heroism. From the moment you line up in the team, you are no longer an individual, you are a whole with other teammates and the team leader.
With the expansion of the group of travel enthusiasts, many travel enthusiasts deliberately emphasize the so-called "light weight and fast" on some mountain peaks that are not difficult and technical. This is a wrong concept. Alstyle climbing does not blindly emphasize "light weight and fast" but It is a scientific mountaineering with a plan and strategy. From route planning to mountain climbing plan to planned preparation stage, equipment preparation, physical preparation and even alternative plans and retreat strategies are all things that a qualified mountaineer must consider, from 4000 meters to Due to the altitude of the 5,000-meter peak, the problem of high altitude and hypoxia is not that serious for travel enthusiasts with strong physical adaptability. The familiar local geographical environment can also support the so-called "pack light and go fast". As a result, some wrong habits have been developed, and the treatment of more serious problems has become a problem. There is often a misunderstanding when climbing high-altitude mountains. For example: It’s not that I didn’t go, it’s just that I don’t have time, or I think it’s not worth spending the money or that the technology is useless. Then I come to the conclusion: I can go up if I have money, etc. Wrong conclusion. There is often a real chance that actions guided by misconceptions can lead to big mistakes when climbing at higher altitudes. This erroneous understanding of physical theory makes many travel enthusiasts who have not experienced higher altitudes often fall into a self-pleasure mode.
It is impossible for everyone in a team to have the same physical fitness, and not all team members are in such good condition. Quanquan, who is in better physical fitness and condition, took the lead and headed forward with the team leader. Xiaowanzi and I took a temporary rest. Last night, we briefly divided the work in the tent according to the situation. Quanquan was responsible for the summit challenge, and Xiaowanzi, Zijin, and I just had to reach the summit safely. After walking for more than half an hour, as the altitude gradually increased, the distance between the teams gradually widened. Quanquan was in front, Xiaowanzi and I were in the middle, and Zijin was in the middle and advanced in an orderly manner.
After another break, with both Xiaowanzi and Zijin accompanied by the team leader, I surpassed the two of them and climbed up. When I was near the eaves of the highest point, I saw the road ropes in the snow and the ropes on the snow eaves. Team leader. There weren't many footprints on the snow at this time, and there shouldn't be many people ahead.
This is Quanquan and another mountain friend who are resting on the snow cornice. The two of them "tied" to reach the summit first. I was the third team member to reach the summit. At this time, the sky was gradually getting brighter. Under the leadership of the team leader, a few of us continued to walk towards the navigation frame, the landmark of Mount Yuzhu.
In fact, this is not the highest point of Mount Yuzhu. The highest point is at the snow cornice where we came up, but it is a must-visit place. This is Brother Quan who was the first to climb to the top.
This is the third black tea led by the Lanzhou Black Tea House Outdoor Club to reach the top

While waiting, Quanquan and I took out the team flag and took a photo

The leader of the first group to arrive at the navigation frame takes a group photo with the team members
Xiaowanzi successfully reached the summit. She was the first female team member to reach the summit.
The first group of team members who climbed to the summit spent a long time on the summit. They would like to thank the Kaitu Alpine team for providing services during this climb. Their service was professional and meticulous, and all the team leaders were excellent.
While we were waiting for Sister Zijin, we took out the team flag and took a group photo.
Sister Zijin succeeded in reaching the summit with her tenacious perseverance when we were about to descend. She is the eldest among the four of us and has a severe reaction to high altitude sickness. It is particularly admirable to be able to successfully reach the summit. This kind of admiration is not for the summit itself, but for her tenacious fighting spirit throughout the whole thing which is impressive. The team members who climbed to the summit after Sister Zijin basically stopped at the snow cornice and did not come to the navigation frame.

The four of us took a photo at the top

In fact, the weather on the summit day was not good, as you can see from the photos. The bad weather increased the difficulty and risk of climbing. Fortunately, the wind was light. If the wind was strong, our climbing process would be even more difficult. We didn't feel that such weather had much impact on our summit. I think it was because we had already experienced it in previous experiences and were mentally prepared. Such experiences had already made us calm mentally.
I was actually very calm when I reached the top. I saw that Quanquan, Xiaowanzi, and Sister Zijin were also very calm. They did not show much excitement because they had already experienced climbing many mountains, and the precipitation and Accumulation has long made them mature and calm, and I think they have more ambitious goals. Yuzhu Peak is just a necessary step on the journey. The moment they reach the top, they know that their goal is far from Yuzhu. Feng, they also knew their own strength and even began to brew greater goals in their hearts.
This is a late essay. Just two days ago, I ran into a team member of the Snow Beer bravely climbing Mount Yuzhu event 10 years ago. I saw the words printed on his clothes and started chatting because of Yuzhu. We quickly narrowed the distance between each other and talked on the way back in the car. Our climbing activity on Mount Yuzhu should be the largest Mount Everest climbing team in Lanzhou or Gansu after that event. Last year we climbed Mount Yuzhu in Otana. The Lanzhou mountaineer I met at the mountaineering conference went to Yuzhu Peak myself. The total number of these known mountain friends probably does not exceed 30.
When people communicate with each other, they always make comparisons unconsciously. Such comparisons are inevitable in life: comparing houses, cars, children, money, etc. When friends communicate together, they may understand a person's ability from two dimensions: height and length; the highest altitude to reach the summit and the longest road traveled. Experienced travel friends will be able to derive the opponent's basic strength from this information. On this basis, coupled with the ability to independently develop routes and organize activities, as well as the blessing of corresponding qualifications, then we can basically know each other's strength.
Whenever Brother Quan and I talk about this topic, we always feel emotional. The two brothers we walked together on the Grand Ring Line are really admirable. What do we admire? It is their ability to travel well-known routes at home and abroad as well as their advanced age and low profile. What I admire is his good mentality in the face of the ABC avalanche, his physical fitness that is not inferior to the two of us "young people", and his open-mindedness in getting along.
Mountaineering is a kind of culture and a training for human growth. The higher you stand, the more experience you have and the more accumulation you have, the more you will see farther and become more low-key and restrained.
I disdain the various "functions" of mountain climbing described in some travel notes or novels. Climbing a mountain will purify the soul and sublimate the spirit? I don’t think so. When you return to life, you will still be a common person. So don’t put more load on mountaineering itself and yourself. Mountaineering is mountaineering. Just do it if you like it. It’s such a simple thing. It doesn’t have that many purifying functions. Even the most basic function of mountaineering may be just to make yourself look better than others for a moment.

The four of us descended together in the clouds and fog.

As the saying goes, it is easier to go up a mountain than it is to go down a mountain. Most accidents occur when going down a mountain. The descent went very smoothly for the four of us. After arriving at C1 and simply organizing our equipment, we continued back to the base camp.
Descending to the river valley, we are very close to the base camp. The four of us were the first team to return to base camp.
After having a final bowl of Chef Li’s chicken soup, we boarded the bus and returned to Golmud.
The time of climbing is unforgettable. The Black Tea House Outdoor Club successfully completed the goal of climbing Mount Everest and returned safely.

At the Golmud celebration banquet, some people successfully reached the summit and some left the opportunity for next time. No matter what, this night will be unforgettable

We got our own results. We have the oldest average age and the overall performance of the team ranks first.
