[Travel Notes] Come to Hualien, the most beautiful place in Taiwan!

This is my second time coming to Taiwan, and I chose Hualien New Year’s Eve, a five-day in-depth tour.

It's a pity that a place that is not far away has been difficult to get to.

GZ-HK-Taipei Airport-Taipei Railway Station-Hualien County,

It took a full 16 hours from beginning to end.

Two nights in Hualien City,

Looking for snacks (remember to eat bomb scallion pancakes at 5:30)

Visit the night market, have a New Year's Eve concert, and sing in a Taiwanese KTV.

Beach B&B for two nights,

Playing with cats and dogs, playing cards, sunrise on the beach, and eating seafood.

 

The whole journey is chartered. There are three regular routes for chartered cars:

1. Taroko line, 2. Huadong coastline, 3. Huadong Valley line

But I just chose a few points of interest to walk around.

I have always liked Taiwanese music, movies, and Taiwanese stars.

Ever since the Four Heavenly Kings, I have been listening to Taiwanese music.

Even the KTVs are basically made in Taiwan.

Liu Milk Tea, Chen Sheng, Chen Qizhen, Mayday, Jay Chou, Soda Green, Stefanie Sun, Lin Youjia.

They all come to Guangzhou to attend concerts.

I just have never been to Taiwan to see a concert.

 

It’s said to be a New Year’s Eve concert with Jam Hsiao coming.

 

This time I finally have the opportunity to come to Taiwan to experience the concert

The music atmosphere in Taiwan is really strong.

Every year, cities and counties hold New Year’s Eve concerts.

There are also various music festivals throughout the year, all free, free, free!

Jam Hsiao, who is half Hualien, has continuously participated in Hualien’s New Year’s Eve parties.

Due to the arrival of the rain god, it started to rain that night.

The people held umbrellas with enthusiasm throughout the whole process.

It's a pity that he showed up at 1 o'clock in the morning and I didn't see him in person.

Dongdaemun Night Market

 

The concert will be held at the entrance of Dongdaemun Night Market.

Dongdamen Night Market, is the largest night market in Dongtai, which is composed of Fuding Night Market + Rainbow Night Market + Ziqiang Night Market.

In addition to various snacks, the night market also offers some classic things like shooting darts, catching fish or throwing balls.

Why choose Hualien?

The eastern part of Taiwan faces the Pacific Ocean and has a long coastline.

The crustal movement here has been violent throughout history.

The Pacific sea breeze never stops all year round,

It has created incredible cliffs, deep valleys and rocky beaches;

Hence the unique Hualien.

It is said that Hualien is the most beautiful place in Taiwan.

The most beautiful thing about coming to Hualien is to see the sea.

The most beautiful beach on the Huadong coastline is "Shitiping".

Shitiping is famous for its special geology. It is a tuff formation formed after a volcanic eruption.

After years of sea erosion, unique geology such as sea erosion terraces, sea erosion platforms, sea erosion trenches, sea erosion cliffs and large and small potholes have been formed.

There are not too many tourists here, and the scenery is very natural and pure.

I really feel this kind of "beauty",

It’s better than seeing the Twelve Apostles in Australia or the Cinque Terre in Italy.

Simply watch them quietly pick up seaweed in a comfortable mood

After watching it for two hours, I still couldn’t bear to leave.

Qixingtan

There is no pool in Qixingtan, only the sea.

There are no beaches in the sea here, but there are gravel beaches.

Changes color at any time with the light, dark blue or mint.

The beach is covered with oval pebbles.

Various colors, various shapes,

Pebbles are formed by marble being washed away by sea water.

In order to protect the landscape here from damage,

Legend has it that in Qixingtan,

If you successfully build up the seven stones, your wish will come true.

 

 

The unique foam waves of Qixingtan come from the Pacific Ocean.

 

The waves at Qixingtan are very violent.

The locals call the waves here Mad Dog Waves.

But what’s more terrifying is not the height of the waves, but the speed of the current.

What is the concept of ocean currents that can reach tens of nautical miles per minute?

A true warrior dares to look concave in the waves!

The Over the Wall Industrial Park is not an attraction.

It’s just a B&B I stayed at this time.

There is a dog, two sows, and three cats.

There is Sister Ellie’s energy breakfast and the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean.

It’s already better than an attraction.

There are only three rooms here,

The house was built by oneself, and the building materials neutralize the sweat.

Flowers, plants and trees are planted by oneself, and their roots are nourished by care and love.

There is no TV in the room, allowing you to concentrate on enjoying primitive life

I won't wake up until 4 p.m., eat enough, and then go to sleep.

Brown Avenue

 

Brown Avenue has now become Takeshi Kaneshiro Avenue.

I came here to film an airline commercial shot by Takeshi Kaneshiro.

So a large number of tourists came to drink tea under this tree.

Brown Avenue, located in Chishang Township, Taitung,

When you come here, you must eat an Ikegami bento.

Then rent a bicycle, not just to show off your money Chengwu.

But this avenue is so long that it's really not suitable for walking.
