If you buy "Fly As You Like", you also need to check the route well in advance.

Air ticket prices fluctuate greatly during the epidemic, so it is best to book special air tickets one to two months in advance.

¥170 to fly from Shanghai to Xiamen, a profit!

Decide how long to play

Xiamen is not a big city, so two days and one night is the basic gameplay.

I have scheduled a five-day and four-night trip, so you can take a look at the travel notes below~

Asking for leave, preparing luggage, arranging itinerary

Have you thought of the reason for taking leave?

Luggage: In addition to the power bank and other things you need for a normal business trip, you also need mosquito repellent when going to Xiamen! !

I was shocked when I checked the weather in Xiamen. I thought it would rain every day, and I was worried that the film would not produce good results. But when I went there, I discovered that it alternated between sunny and rainy.

Others: Download Fujian Zhengtong app in advance!

Just use Ctrip to plan the itinerary in order. The goal is not to look back.

Day 1

Gaoqi Airport → Accommodation

BRT experience

Is this a subway or a bus? Doesn’t it say it’s free on weekends?

arcade

(It is recommended to stay near Zhongshan Road when traveling independently, because housing prices on Gulangyu Island are expensive, and some B&Bs here in Zengcuo'an are inconvenient by bus)

Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street (Look for brunch in the alley, Food → Sha Cha Noodles) → Cat Street → Yanwu Bridge → Xiamen University → Baicheng Beach → Huandao Road, Yefeng Village, One Country, Two Systems → Zengcuo’an (Dinner) → Accommodation

A junk shop passing by

There are several horizontal and vertical sections of the pedestrian street that I haven't finished shopping yet. We are just passing by, so I suggest you just stroll around at night without spending too much time. You can go to the alleys for snacks instead of going to the main street. You can buy some specialties here to eat on the road, and you can go to Bashi to buy some for your family.

Ding Ao Zai Cat Street

There is an introduction to the street.

It is said that the fishing industry in Xiamen and Hong Kong was prosperous a long time ago. Before there were modern refrigeration facilities, Dingaozi fishermen dried their catch on the sunny slopes. Cats are not naturally close to water. They only eat when food is scarce. Fish, so local residents keep a large number of cats as full-time mice. There are many cats but few, so it is called a cat street.

Walking a short distance inside, there are wall paintings of cats everywhere. On the right is a cat museum. The museum has a detailed introduction to cat breeds, including kittens corresponding to the twelve constellations, and also sells various types of cat peripherals. There is a fee for petting cats~but most of the money is used for charity~

Food→Cat Street’s handmade mochi and four-fruit soup

Walking out of Cat Street, you will come to Shimao Tower, where you can go to the sightseeing platform to overlook the Yanwu Bridge from the top floor. The ticket price was a little expensive, so we only went to the Yanwu Bridge viewing platform on the beach. Standing next to the Yanwu Bridge, facing the statue of Zheng Chenggong across the sea, it is said to have some meaning! (For example, facing Zheng Chenggong, there is no slang for failure)

Yanwu Bridge is the bridge closest to the sea level. You can also go down to the beach underneath the bridge and take pictures. However, there are very few people passing by and it is not particularly safe. Bicycles are not allowed on the viewing platform, so we have to walk. We only walked a short distance to Xiamen University.

(It is said that two of the four characters on the gate of Xiamen University are written wrong??)

(Of course you can’t enter Xiamen University, but you can still have a look through the wall)

Baicheng Beach is very lively. If you like a quieter and cleaner beach, it is recommended to go directly to Yefengzhai. From there go to Zengcuo'an .

When I arrived at Baicheng Beach, even though some locals told me that it was almost time for Xiamen University to discharge sewage, I still took off my shoes and socks and ran wildly, because this was the first time that I faced the sea in the true sense! Although the sea water is not blue and the beach is not hot, the coconut milk does not feel fresh.

Concave shaped coffee shop

Continuing forward, there is the One Country, Two Systems sign. I mainly wanted to check in, but there were rows of tourist buses blocking the way, and I couldn't find any angle.

After seeing this slogan, I somewhat connected some words in history books with Xiamen.

This has been an important garrison location since ancient times. However, Xiamen's temperament is completely incompatible with these cannons (Hulishan Fort). The humiliation and collision of the poor and weak China that was forced to open its treaty ports are here. The first four special economic zones were divided into them. Take a seat... Even if you don't look at the map, you won't be surprised that it is so close to Taiwan...

The beach here is very clean.

You can also choose from horse riding, sailing, ATV, helicopter and hot air ballooning.

Dinner was completed at Zengcuo'an.

Food→Oyster Omelette + Rice Roll

After walking around Zengcuo'an, I felt a little disappointed. It was indeed a place "only tourists go to."

I didn’t feel much local customs, just some delicious food. If I had known this, I would have gone to Shapowei first instead of wandering here.

The above is the entire itinerary for the first day.
