Zero preparation before departure

This is a travelogue recording the graduation trip of the 16th-grade Information Science and Technology Debate Team students in Fujian. The reason why I chose to start the sections from No. 0 instead of No. 1 is, on the one hand, to pay tribute to the tradition of programmers, and on the other hand, it is also because under the epidemic, this trip does require a lot more preparation work than usual.

In June 2020, the epidemic across the country had been basically contained. However, an epidemic suddenly broke out again in Beijing's Xinfadi Market, and the return trip of grade 16 students to school was interrupted. We graduated without saying goodbye to our classmates and teachers, without an offline graduation ceremony, without packing our bags bit by bit and saying goodbye to our alma mater. In order to see the long-lost classmates again, and to make up for the loss of the sense of ceremony caused by not being able to jump into the Weiming Lake, under the organization of Xiaozhong, the friends of the 16-level Information Technology Debate Team arranged a graduation trip.

Under the epidemic, even traveling has become difficult. We need to apply for Fujian's "Min Zhengtong" pass code in advance, call hotels and scenic spots to confirm that they accept tourists with Beijing hukou, and do nucleic acid tests in case of emergencies. need. In hindsight, these preparations were very wise. I saw some tourists from Beijing getting into trouble at the airport and in the hotel because of the lack of relevant certificates. I would like to thank Jiaheng, Xiaozhong and Mingyue from the Wuyishan team, Yang Zhan and Aoran from the Xiamen team, and sister Huilin who is also from the Tulou team with me. It was precisely because of everyone's careful preparation that our trip was successfully completed.

1. Wuyi Landscape

The first stop of the trip is Wuyi Mountain. Since there was no direct flight, I first took a flight to Xiamen, then transferred to Wuyishan. By the time I arrived at the youth hostel, it was already the morning of the next day. Except for sister Hui Lin, who is still taking online classes, everyone else has already arrived.

That day was the school's online graduation ceremony. I hurried to meet everyone. I still missed Academician Zhong Nanshan's speech, but I saw the familiar campus and familiar teachers, and I was able to sing "Love in the Yanyuan" again with my classmates. , typing "Happy Graduation" amidst the laughter and laughter, this special graduation ceremony has fulfilled one of my wishes. As the singing fades, our college life has come to an end, and the journey has just begun.

After lunch, we first went to Tianyou Peak in Wuyi Mountain. Tianyou Peak is located in the core area of Wuyi Mountain and is also the most famous scenic spot in Wuyi Mountain. From it, you can see the Jiuqu River flowing slowly down, and the scenery is open and beautiful. Whether it was the hot and humid weather or the epidemic, there were not many tourists along the way, which allowed us to arrange our itinerary at our own pace. The scenic spot that impressed me most about Tianyou Peak was not the top of Tianyou Peak, but the cloud nest halfway up the mountain. The mist was rising and the cool breeze was blowing. It was so refreshing that I couldn't bear to leave for a long time. The hundreds of steps on Tianyou Peak are also fresh in my memory. The steep and endless steps are reminiscent of Li Bai's "The road to Shu is difficult, it is difficult to reach the sky." For those of us who have stayed at home for a semester, It's quite a challenge. By the time we climbed to the top of the peak, our mouths were already parched. Fortunately, there was a teahouse on the top of the mountain. After buying sour plum soup to quench our thirst, the group came back to life full of blood and went down the mountain talking and laughing.

On the third day, we came to Jiuqu River and took a bamboo raft. On the way there, the driver told us that there is a saying in Wuyi Mountain: "Look at the water on the mountain, and look at the mountain on the water." "Looking at the water on the mountain" means climbing Tianyou Peak, and "looking at the mountain on the water" means taking a bamboo raft on the Jiuqu River. . There were six of us, and we happened to be riding on a bamboo raft. The little brother who was driving the boat gently tapped the bamboo pole, and the bamboo raft drifted down the Jiuqu River. Along the way, many light blue and almost transparent fish were floating on both sides of the bamboo raft. If we swim sideways and drop some fish food, a few will jump out of the water to compete for food. However, when we try to catch them with a fishing net, they suddenly disappear without a trace. When we arrived at a place where the water flow was fast, the stream would overflow onto the bamboo raft. Yang Zhan and Mingyue wore sandals and stepped on the water to feel the coolness of the stream. When the water flow calmed down, we sat leisurely on the bamboo raft, singing and playing solitaire. Admiring the scenery on both sides of the strait, the leisure of the bamboo raft made us completely forget about the fatigue of climbing the mountain the day before. We just wanted to swim on the Jiuqu River and relax our mood completely.

After the rafting, we went to two scenic spots: Yixiantian and Huxiaoyan. "One Line of Sky" lives up to its name. There is a narrow stone path sandwiched between wet rock walls on both sides. If it were not for the lighting on the ground, it would be almost impossible to see the path. As for "Tiger Roaring Rock", we climbed for a long time, but we didn't find this attraction. When I asked at the teahouse on the top of the mountain, I found out that the entire mountain is called "Tiger Roaring Rock". I really "don't know the true face of Mount Lu, just because I am in this mountain."

On the fourth day, we set off from Wuyi Mountain to Xiamen and met up with sister Hui Lin. At this point, all seven people in the tour group have arrived. After admiring the beaches of Baicheng and tasting the snacks of Zengcuo'an, we rested for one night in a luxurious sea-view villa (an illegal building in the countryside) and prepared to go to Nanjing Tulou.

2. Night talk in Tulou

Earth buildings are scattered throughout Fujian, with the earth buildings in Yongding and Nanjing being the most famous. The first place we went to was the Tianluokeng Tulou Group in Nanjing. The Tianluokeng Tulou Group is located deep in the mountains, with inconvenient transportation. After getting off the high-speed rail, we had to take a bus and then transfer to the sightseeing bus in the scenic spot. The driver of the sightseeing bus first took us to visit the nearby Taxia Village and Yuchang Tower. It is already evening at the Tianluokeng Tulou Group. After getting off the sightseeing bus, we were all shocked by the beautiful scenery of Tianluokeng. In front of you is a large area of terraced fields, with the blue sky and white clouds reflecting on the water. The representative of the Tianluokeng Tulou Group, "Four Dishes and One Soup", stands quietly in the distance. A plank road winds down, leading to this picturesque scenery.

Walking down the plank road, we came to the inn where we lived. The inn is located within the "Wenchang Building" of the Tianluokeng Tulou Group, which also gives us an opportunity to get close to the Tulou and experience accommodation in the Tulou. Although the Tulou room is not big, it is clean and tidy, and it is very cool, and there is no need for a fan at all. The boss warmly received us and prepared meals for us. "Don't laugh at the farmer's cured wine, which is enough for chickens and dolphins in good years." Maybe everyone was hungry, or maybe the boss's craftsmanship was really good, so we were all very satisfied with that meal. After having enough wine and food, we went up to the observation deck to enjoy the night view of the earth building. It was getting late, among the quiet mountains, the "four dishes and one soup" gave off a warm golden light, as if someone had lit many candles. As the candlelight flickered, the small ravine was filled with the breath of life.

After walking down from the observation deck and returning to Wenchang Building, we moved a table to the courtyard and sat in a circle to chat. We had agreed before that everyone would write a graduation message to everyone else, and we would exchange letters on this night. The writer reads out a fragment of the message, and everyone else guesses who the recipient is. Amidst the laughter, we all received the most beautiful gift during our college years, which contained many precious memories of the four years of college, as well as mutual encouragement and expectations among our partners.

As the night gets darker, the businesses in the earthen buildings are closing one after another, and the residents have gone back to their rooms to rest. In the huge courtyard, only a group of us freshly graduated students are left, recalling every bit of university life in the moonlit night. Talk about your innermost ideals and expectations. We first rolled dice and decided to ask the person with the highest points to tell one advantage and one disadvantage of the person with the smallest points. Unfortunately, I made a few big bets, so I had to take a little more risk of offending people. However, after thinking carefully, I found that I can think of many advantages of my partner, but it is difficult to think of disadvantages. It requires everyone to work together to think of one or two. We also talked about Yi Kai, Shen Jian and Yixuan, who were also members of the debate team but did not come for some reason, and talked about their many advantages (unfortunately, they did not hear them). After that, we talked about future plans. We were at the crossroads between school and society, and shared similar confusions and confusions about ourselves and the future. Only Xiaozhong stood out and had already thought of asking for letters of recommendation for future children ( Maybe this is the way of thinking of people who are single).

While we were talking and laughing, the night lights in the Tulou were also extinguished, leaving only the full moon and a few stars passing through the clouds to illuminate us. The surroundings were completely silent, and we lowered our voices, being careful not to wake up the sleeping residents. Although it was already very late, everyone still didn't want to leave for a long time, because Yang Zhan was leaving early the next day to go back to Chengdu for internship. After all, this was the last night of our reunion! The conversation is still going on, but the content is no longer important. Everyone just wants to cherish the time together...

Even if there are thousands of songs in the future

Floating far away on my road
Even if there are thousands of evening stars in the future,
Brighter than the moon tonight
Nothing is as beautiful as this night
It will never make me appreciate it more

Ah, because you sing with me tonight

3. Xiamen respectively

Early in the morning on the sixth day, we bid farewell to Tianluokeng and headed to Yunshuiyao Tulou Group. Perhaps because the experience at Tianluokeng the day before was so good, Yunshuiyao pales in comparison. The turbid river water makes the scenic spot lose some of its beautiful scenery, and the earth building does not have the characteristics of "four dishes and one soup". However, it is also a good experience to sit under the big banyan trees that can be seen everywhere in the scenic area and watch the white clouds slowly drifting in the blue sky. After coming out of Yunshuiyao, we took the bus to Nanjing Station, and we were ready to return to Xiamen.

Since he was to join the company the next day, Yang Zhan had to take the flight back to Chengdu that night. The first thing I did when I returned to Xiamen was to say goodbye to Yang Zhan. Yang Zhan hugged Mingyue and Hui Lin, and patted us boys. What she may not have expected is that this farewell ceremony has been passed down like this. After seeing off Yang Zhan, Ming Yue returned to the hotel beforehand. The rest of us found a KTV and sang "Those Flowers" and "Love in the Yan Garden" again before reluctantly returning to the hotel to rest.

On the seventh day, Aoran had something to do and needed to take a flight home that day, so the remaining five of us set off for Gulangyu Island. Since we slept late the day before, we got up a little later. During the epidemic, ferry tickets to and from Gulangyu Island must be booked in advance. By the time we had breakfast, we were already pressed for time. While we were hurriedly looking for a car, a man on the roadside asked us if we wanted to take a ride. It only cost ten yuan for five people. After hearing that we were going to the pier to catch the 10:50 flight, he earnestly advised us that we would definitely not be able to catch the flight and that it would be a waste of money. It would be better to take advantage of the fact that the Gulangyu tickets are not invalid yet and go to the nearby round-island service station. Change to other tourism projects. Hesitant and doubtful, Ao Ran hailed a taxi. The taxi driver told us that he would not be able to make it in time, so we decided to follow the man to the service station.

The man called a taxi and took us to the so-called "service station". In fact, it was just a travel company. After arriving at Gulangyu Island, each person was charged more than 90 yuan for the ticket. Feeling deceived, we called Gulangyu again, but the other party only asked us to come over quickly. After hurriedly taking two taxis, we finally boarded the cruise ship before it sailed. If we had been five minutes later, I'm afraid our trip to Gulangyu Island would have been ruined. Despite the near miss, we regretted not taking a photo of the license plate of the previous taxi, and made up our minds never to take a taxi in Zengcuo'an again. After this little episode, we finally started our trip to Gulangyu Island.

Gulangyu Island is a small island, but it has many beautiful scenic spots and merchants selling various specialties and snacks. It is a place suitable for a slow life. After drinking fruit tea and eating rice rolls at a small shop, we climbed to the largest scenic spot on Gulangyu Island, "Sunlight Rock", where we can overlook the entire island and the scenery is superb. It's just that the sun was too strong, and soon we were sweating profusely. We just wanted to find an air-conditioned room to cool off. I heard that the Piano Museum in Gulangyu Island is a major feature, so I rushed over (for the air conditioning) with great interest, only to find that it was also closed due to the epidemic. By this time everyone was quite tired, and after discussing it, they decided to leave. After getting off the island, we found a milk tea shop to rest for a while. After dinner, we played a mystery game and returned to the hostel to pack our luggage and prepare to leave the next day.

Early on the eighth day, the remaining five of us gathered for breakfast one last time before going our separate ways. Xiaozhong and Mingyue are going to Guangzhou to apply for visas, while sister Jiaheng, Jiaheng and Huilin are going back to their respective hometowns. In the near future, some of us will fly to study abroad, and some of us are still continuing our studies at home. I don’t know when we will meet again. Everyone hugged each other, touched each other's heads, and said goodbye to each other reluctantly.

I still remember the scene when I first arrived at the youth hostel at the foot of Wuyi Mountain, proudly wearing a bachelor's uniform and listening to the principal's speech; I still remember that in the game of "draw and guess", Mingyue and Xiaozhong had a close connection, leaving everyone confused; still remember In the Avalon game, Xiaozhong pretended to be drunk and ordered four good guys but found out that he was not fooled. I still remember Yang Zhan’s whimsical imagination when guessing the turtle soup. I still remember Sister Hui Lin’s karaoke. The amazing singing, Jia Heng’s unrestrained singing; and of course, the happy experience of me being chosen as the murderer with a very high status in the script reasoning, and successfully making others mistakenly think that I am the murderer.

"Zhuan Xilu" records that Wang Yangming had the theory that "there is nothing outside the heart." A friend was doubtful about this, so he pointed to a flower tree in Nanzhen and asked Yangming: "There is nothing outside the heart in the world. Such a flower tree, How does it matter to my heart when it blooms and falls in the deep mountains?" Yang Ming replied: "When you don't see this flower, this flower and your heart become silent together. When you look at this flower, the color of this flower becomes clear for a moment. Know that this flower is not outside your heart. "After the journey, we will all move to a new place of study and work to meet new challenges in the next journey of life. But the many wonderful experiences during this trip are like blossoming flowers, exuding a long-lasting fragrance in the memory. I hope this travelogue can collect these wonderful experiences like flowers and trees in the mountains, so that when we look back again, our past experiences can still be "understood for a moment."
