Feiying Road is on Huayan Mountain. This is an abandoned scenic spot that was once very prosperous. There is a fork not far from the village into the mountains. On the right is the original scenic road. Roadblocks have been set up and closed to traffic. However, I think the ban is more than enough. After all, no one will take care of it after it is abandoned. Travelers can continue on by stepping on a trail next to it. The mountain body of Huiyan Mountain is very peculiar. There are deep rock cracks everywhere. At the bottom of the cracks, there is a line of sky when you look up, forming a unique landscape. In other places, an occasional crack is often called a wonder, but with so many rock cracks here, it is worth considering. Is the geological structure here unstable? Is there something underneath that needs to be lifted up? A recent landslide destroyed the built scenic area. The falling mud and rocks not only damaged the road, but also the huge rocks smashed the pavilions in the scenic area. This may be the reason why the scenic area was closed and abandoned.

It is true that success is the same, and failure is also the same. It can be seen that after the landslide, a new huge rock crack formed. So are the cracks in the sky we walk on also formed in this way? Because it has been abandoned, the iron ladder on the cliff is very rusty and rotten. Some sections are rusty and peeled off, but the ones that are not rusty are hanging. It feels unsafe to step on it. I am always afraid that it will break suddenly. It is estimated that within a few years, it will be completely unusable. Because of the collapse, the original road was cut off, and it took a long time to reach the normal road. There is a water curtain waterfall upwards, which is a cave under a large waterfall. However, there is a lack of water now, and there are only a few trickles left in the waterfall, without the feeling of a water curtain. Not far from Shuilian Waterfall, there is a giant rift valley: Tongtian Cave. The rock mass is more than 100 meters high, with a huge crack in the middle. The stone stairs go all the way up, as if reaching the sky. There are vertical cliffs on both sides. To reach the top, you have to climb two bamboo ladders and drill out from the entrance of a stone cave. , so it is called Tongtian Cave. Standing at the top of the stone stairs and looking down, I felt a little weak in the soles of my feet.

After passing Tongtian Cave, we walked in the canyon. The mountains here are very dangerous, full of cliffs, and many plank roads are used to access them. Due to disrepair, the cement on the handrails on the side fell off, leaving only thin steel bars exposed. It would be very dangerous to lean on it. At the end of the canyon, there is an abandoned farmhouse. It is filled with team flags from travel enthusiasts from all over the country. It can be seen that the business was once prosperous. Along the way, there are many large and small waterfalls and deep pools. Unfortunately, during the dry season, there are many traces of water left in the waterfalls, which greatly affects the scenery. There is no danger when walking on the trail at the top of the mountain, but through the branches on the side, you can see that there are unfathomable cliffs below. We walked two-thirds of the way along the track, but we still hadn’t seen the Flying Eagle Trail. At this time, there was a fork in the road ahead. We chose to go up. As a result, on the cliff above, we saw a sunken trail in the middle. Flying Eagle Trail The Word has arrived.

The Flying Eagle Path is a path made using the horizontal cracks naturally formed in the middle of the cliff. When walking on it, there is a rock mass on top and a cliff outside, which is extremely dangerous. However, there is an iron chain hanging on the rock wall now. It is estimated that the place that was too narrow or too low has been repaired. As long as you are careful, there is no danger. But people who are afraid of heights must not go up. There are two upper and lower sections of Feiying Road. There is a long bamboo ladder to climb up, and you can walk the upper section. Although the scenic spot is abandoned, someone should be taking care of this bamboo ladder, otherwise it would have rotted long ago. But we were still a little scared when we stepped on it. After coming out of Feiying Road, we started going down the mountain. We passed a small temple in the middle, and we sat by the small bridge next to the temple and had a simple Chinese meal. Going down is the step road that used to be a scenic spot. Several bamboo bridges crossing the stream have collapsed. Fortunately, the stream is now very small and can be crossed without a bridge. After leaving the valley, we returned to Dongjia'ao Village where we parked our car. The entire Huiyan Mountain has majestic peaks and towering cliffs, and is covered with all kinds of peculiar geological landscapes, especially Feiying Road. Without the iron chain, we would not dare to go there, so we had to let Feiying play. The whole journey is 8 kilometers, with a total elevation of more than 400 meters. It is exciting, relaxing, and very scenic. It is a good outdoor place.
