Impression of Zhouzhuang
When spring comes in Nanpu, the river is green,
The stone bridge and Zhu tower are still there.
See off guests on Hengtang Road every year,
Drizzle and weeping poplar trees tie the painting boat.
I don’t know if everyone has a water town in their dreams, a place that you can’t let go of once you walk in, and that transforms you from a passer-by into a homecoming.
The first stop of the trip to Suzhou is Zhouzhuang. Originally, I wanted to visit Wuzhen, a small town in the south of the Yangtze River, but due to various reasons, I decided to visit Zhouzhuang instead. Therefore, I didn’t have much expectations for Zhouzhuang, which is known as “the best water town in the world”. When I arrived at Zhouzhuang, I was not "disappointed". There were floats made of colorful plastic flowers at the entrance, and there were shops as far as the eye could see. I suddenly thought of the plastic Qing Dynasty dolls standing everywhere in the Old Summer Palace. , I immediately complained to my friend, who advised me not to rush to conclusions. After listening to my friend's persuasion, I became a lot quieter, but I also felt lazy and wandered around the streets, thinking only of ending my trip to Zhouzhuang as soon as possible.

We walked along the streets for a long time, and when my spirit was about to be exhausted, I turned the corner and saw the stone monument of Zhouzhuang, "the best water town in the world". I couldn't help but sigh in my heart when I saw the scenery. Noisy crowds of people gathered at the bridge on the shore. The river under the bridge was rippling, silent and moving. It was so beautiful.

I don’t know whether I was walking or was attracted by the beautiful scenery in front of me. Finally, I was suddenly shocked. I was already standing on the Fu'an Bridge - the bridge towers in front of me were rising up from the waves, facing each other from a distance. The houses on the four corners were adjacent to each other, and there were bustling people. The scenery and stories here seem to have appeared thousands of times in dreams . Fu'an Bridge was built in the Yuan Dynasty and rebuilt with funds from Shen Wansan's younger brother Shen Wansi. It is the oldest bridge in Zhouzhuang and the only remaining three-dimensional bridge and tower building in the Jiangnan water town. It means both wealth and security. Locals say that if you walk on Fu'an Bridge three times, your career will be successful. It is said that Premier Zhu Rongji took office after walking on the bridge. Now that I think about it carefully, I can't remember whether I walked there three times. I just blame myself for being too absorbed in the scenery at that time.

Not far from Fu'an Bridge is Shen Hall, which was built in the seventh year of Qianlong's reign by Shen Benren, a descendant of Shen Wansan. During the four years of college, I have been walking around everywhere, and I have seen houses of all sizes. Most of them were just a quick glance or a little sigh, but it was never as memorable as Shen Hall. As soon as I stepped in It's like stepping into the deepest fireworks place . We all know that Jiangnan's architectural design is exquisite and blends with poetry, calligraphy and painting, and Shen Hall has a sense of warmth on top of this, a sense of warmth where family members are happy and contented, giving people a sense of tranquility and tranquility everywhere. comfort. I really like the promenade behind Matsumoto Hall. Sitting on the promenade, you can see banana trees outside and a unique courtyard inside. You can listen to the rain hitting the banana trees when it is moving, and watch the flowers blooming in front of the courtyard when you are quiet. Falling gives me a real rest.

Mr. Qiu Yu wrote in "Jiangnan Town" "The mottled blue-gray color is like a residual dream in the morning, and the intertwined twin bridges are firm and old. There is no image that can summarize the Jiangnan town better than this image, and there is no Nothing is more symbolic of my hometown than a small town in the south of the Yangtze River." A small town in the south of the Yangtze River like Zhouzhuang often leaves travelers from afar confused as to where they are going.
